《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》The Helpful Undead 2

After Rala left I changed the layout of the room a bit. I found out I cant make it bigger, so I just made it look like a small throne room. It kind of felt like one anyway so I made it look like one. I stretched the room slightly and added a couple pillars, a long red carpet and some tall windows. I plan on changing it again later but this is fine for now. I was about to leave when I realized I forgot to put in a place to show the map. So I added a large map on the wall behind the throne. The map was of a world that I had made up, I had never really seen a full map of the world so I just improvised. I also made it so the map would change into the functional one when I need it.
Satisfied with my work I left and stood up, closed my eyes and focused. In about a second I could see a map. It was a little hard to read because it looked like it was just burned into my eyes, like I had looked at the sun. But I could see it well enough to know that I was facing the right direction. I opened my eyes and the map was gone, so I headed in the direction of the tainted mana cloud.

Malady had tried to fall asleep but her mind was still changing and she was simply unable to fall unconscious. She did however manage to get into a meditative like state. It was at this point that she figured out just how screwed she was. Her mind was fragmenting and falling to pieces. She could even see just how bad it was, the only good thing about this is that she now knew why this was happening. Her newly aquired memories and looking at her fragmented mind helped her figure out that it was the summoning that brought her here in the first place.

The body she has now was only created for her by the summoning, before that she was just a piece of the goddess. Like a puddle of energy floating in nothingness. But the body they had made cannot hold a god's power. The more time passes and the closer the godess gets to this dimension, the more likely that she would die. But what scared her more is what would happen if she didnt die. Her mind would break and she would essentially be just a super powerfull shell with the mental capacity of a bucket of dirt. She would slowly corrupt the area around her because she wouldnt be able to control her power and her powers could activate randomly.
She had thought about this for a while and came to a decision. That she would die before it got to that point, She had grown fond of what little she has experienced so far. Even if she was created by accident, she was happy. She had friends and had experienced many things since being summoned. Tears streamed down her face as she remembered the time she has spent with Vylet and Finch. She may not have talked to him much, but she still appreciated what he had done for her. She spent the next hour reminiscing over the past couple of months, until she finally managed to slip into a dreamless sleep.

Kevin was in his new office going through the reports he got from Rala and checking to make sure divinity was being generated properly. There was a little screen built into the desk that displayed information about current production. They were generating enough divinity to start actually using it outside of the inner world. So he started drawing up plans and called in Rala to help him figure out what things would be useful for the elf. Now that they had a nice little stockpile of divinity they could create Finch's first power. The way that it worked was that they release the divinity into finch's body which strengthens it and rewires it till it gains a new power. They cannot choose the power that is created but they can at least make it a strong one by offering up more divinity than is needed. Kevin also had to wait for Finch to be inactive in order to start or else he will just pass out randomly.

Rala seemed to know more about this kind of thing then Kevin did and it made him kind of nervous. He had been a guide for a while yet he didnt have the extensive knowledge this girl had. In fact he doesnt even remember creating her.

I ran through the undead district following the map till I found myself at an old warehouse. The whole building had a weird aura around it. Made me want to just turn around and forget about this place. Thats probably the reason no one has noticed the tainted mana seeping out of the building. The air was thick with it and it became harder to breath the closer I got to the building. I made a small bubble of green mana around my mouth and used it as a filter that only let breathable air in. No one could possibly sense anything in mana this thick, plus with the stench of rot filling this place their senses have probably been dulled. The building was in extreme disrepair, it seems the mad guild has been here for a while keeping people away because this building needed some major work. There were holes in the walls, big dents all over the place like some monster had a fistfight with the wall. There was broken glass and rotting wood everywhere. I walked over to one of the doors but it was locked, unsuprisingly. So I walked around till I found a hole big enough for me to squeeze in to. It was behind some rotting crates that appeared to have been full of food at one point but now just had old tainted fruits and dead vermin in them.
I stuck my head in to make sure there was no one nearby and then climbed in. The corrupted mana was extremely thick in here, it made it darker than it was outside despite the lights from the many broken windows. I was in a small unused office in the back of the warehouse. They were obviously using it for storage as there were all kinds of mad guild crap in here. Extra robes and sacrificial knives, more of those damn books and a large jar labled 'Poison for religious use only'. Nothing else in here was really worth mentioning except the large number of weapons they had in racks around the room. Then I thought of something.
This is a warehouse isnt it?
Why are they using this small office for storage then? What are they using all that other space for?

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)
