These weapons were suprisingly accurate, every shot hit its mark causing massive damage to the zombies. Heads were exploding left and right, limbs were flying around and the girls were loving every minute of it. One of the girls next to me was wearing one of the goggles that Kevin had spread around and was close enough to me for me to hear it. Everytime she killed a zombie I could hear it go
"KILL CONFIRMED"
When she blew off a zombies head it would loudly proclaim "HEADSHOT"
I was curious about it so I put a pair on and resumed shooting. It took a second to scan me and then tiny see through windows popped up. I shot a zombies head off and was suprised by the huge words that appeared in my vision that read "HEADSHOT".
I can see why some of the girls think its annoying.
I kept exploding heads, getting lots of messages popping up in front of my face.
"DOUBLE KILL"
"ULTRA KILL"
"MEGAKILL"
"GODLIKE"
They were getting really annoying and I reached my hand up to take it off and one of my fingers touched the lens and the screens moved around. I fiddled with it a bit and moved all the windows to the corner and managed to make them smaller as well. I dont know what to do about the sound but at least I can see now. I told the girl next to me and she enthusiatically thanked me.
"The only reason I am wearing one is because my friend and I had a bet to see who could kill more. Now it will be less of a headache. Thank you very much." She gave me a small bow, fixed her goggles and then went back to shooting.
There were about as many zombies as there were the first time. A large group and then a small break in between waves. After about 3 waves I realized that this wasnt going to end, so I left the barricade and went to find Kevin or Rala and see if either of them know how to stop this. There was a small group of workers that came to the barricade at regular intervals to bring supplies and ammunition. I asked them where Kevin was and they told me that they were about to report to him, so I just followed them on their way back. They led me to the mine which was temporarily repurposed into a base of operations. The wide flat area just before the mine was cleared of any machinery and had many tents and workplaces set up around a large tent that I assumed was where the 'Leaders' were supposed to be. My assumptions turned out to be correct, as that was exactly where they led me. The front of the tent was left open and I could see Kevin and Rala inside talking while gesturing at a large map. Kevin was wearing some weird green and brown uniform and Rala was wearing pants and a hooded jacket for some reason. She looked like a teenager in them but I didnt say anything about it. I walked in but they were so busy arguing they didnt even notice us walk into the tent.

*Ahem*
I cleared my throat to get their attention and it worked. They both looked at me with an angrily before their expressions changed when they realized it was me. Kevin just looked tired but Rala looked a little upset and it wasnt five seconds after she saw me did I find out why.
"YOU LET YOURSELF GET CORRUPTED!?"
She angrily yelled at me while stomping her feet closer to me.
"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!?! YOU COULDVE BEEN KILLED OR WORSE YOU COULDVE BECOME A MONSTER!"
She was almost in tears and was trying her best to stay angry, but I can tell she was extremely worried about me. I said the only thing I could think of.
"Im sorry."
She cried for a couple more minutes before calming down and collecting herself. I gave her a hug and she smiled weakly and walked back over to the map, sitting down in a wooden chair that I somehow didnt notice till now. Kevin looked a little releived at this, but he also seemed a bit...off. Something about him just felt a little weird and I couldnt figure out what it was. I decided to just ignore it for now and focus on the problem. First I needed information on what was going on since I was last here.
"Ok, what has been going on here? Where did these monsters come from and why are they not stopping?"
Kevin looked at Rala but since she said nothing he started explaining.
"These creatures started appearing out of nowhere, we suffered heavy losses at first. But when I realized what we were fighting I organized this based on a top zombie fighting...story I know of. It has worked pretty well so far. But what we dont know is why they keep coming, we have suffered minimal losses but they just keep coming. We are already running low on ammunition. I just cant create enough for all of us and the factory is overrun with monsters AND zombies."
He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"We are at a loss, we lost so many people that we cant spare anyone to go and clear out the factory without letting the monsters in here."

Kevin looked at Rala to see if she had something to add but she just sat there quietly. It seemed like she was embarressed about her outburts just now so she was staying quiet.
I guess I would have to deal with this.
"Alright, give me some people and I take back the factory"
Rala jumped up at this.
"No there's no need for that! Now that you are here we can spare some of the workers to go and take care of it. They can deal with the monsters, you dont need to go"
"Can you say for certain that you know they will succeed?" I know what she is trying to do but we cant afford that right now. We need the factory to get rid of this problem and I had to go to make sure it was done.
She looked at her feet an sat back down on the chair slowly.
"No." She almost whispered.
I walked next to her and tried to reassure her.
"It will be fine, ill bring some people with me and we will take back the factory. I wont be alone and this needs to be done."
She didnt lift her head but softly said "Okay."
Kevin led me out of the tent and took me to another tent, leaving the girls that led me here to Rala. This tent was filled with all sorts of weaponry that Kevin created with his power. Kevin told me that he actually designed some of them himself and he keeps those seperate from the other weapons. He gestured to a large silver case that was closed and locked next to one of the gun racks.
"The lock was because I thought they would be too much for the workers, Itll open if you touch it though. Its designed to open only if you, me or Rala are touching it. Feel free to take whatever weapon you like."
There were many different kinds of weapons here that I wasnt entirely familiar with. But I saw one that I recognized and kind of liked. It was a modified version of the weapon the girls at the barricade gave me. This one looked heavier and a little bulky, but according to kevin it packed a massive punch. I chose this one, picked it up to test its weight. It didnt weigh as much as I was expecting it to and was easy to use. Kevin gave me some quick tips about it and told me that this particular weapon can fire using ammunition or mana. None of the girls used it though because it is too heavy and a lot of them dont have enough mana to use it properly anyway. I liked this gun, as soon as I picked it up I was thinking about how I could use it in the outside world too.
He gave me a medium sized bag full of ammo and some thin but durable body armor to help with the fight. After I had finished putting on the gear I was ready to go. Kevin told me that it was time to meet the team that was going with him, apparently he had informed someone to assemble them before we left the command tent. I didnt see him do it but whatever. It was time to meet the team.
