《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》Something is different 7

Kevin was leading me to where my team was aparently waiting but on the way we passed a red tent with a large white cross on it. I could see that this was where the wounded were treated as there were many workers on small beds in there in obvious pain. I wanted to try healing some of them to help out but this was harshly rejected by Kevin, startling me and making me curious about his mental state. I had turned to go inside the tent when he had grabbed my arm.
"NO! You will have all the time to help them out later! Right now we must focus our efforts on the Factory!"
His voice broke several times and the look in his eyes was hard to decipher. He let go of my arm and tried to play it off as an effect of the stress he ad been under recently but I could feel something was really bother him. I would do as he says now but I need to figure out what is going on with him when I get back. I could see the people in their doing their work, using healing magic and potions to close wounds and bandaging them with clean cloth. I decided to just go for now and help them as soon as I got back. Kevin kept leading me through the sea of tents and people walking around until we reached the edge of the camp on the other side.
"See that?" He pointed at a large tunnel in the wall that im pretty sure wasnt there the last time I was here.
"That is where you and your team are going, we tried taking the factory back before. It ended badly and the monsters there sealed up the entrance somehow, so we made this tunnel. It goes directly to the factory and stops just behind one of the walls there. We lost a bunch of people after the tunnel was made so we didnt try to breach the room until now. I need to go back to the command tent, your team will meet you at the entrance of the tunnel and should already be ready so you can go immediately."

He slatued me for some reason, then left.
Something is really wrong with him. Why does he want to get the factory back so badly? I know its important but he seems really nervous about something.
I shoved these thoughts to the back of my head and moved on to meet the team.
At the entrance to the tunnel there was a large stone wall with a metal gate in the middle of it. It didnt look like it was designed to swing open and it was covered in pipes that were arranged in a very peculiar way. On my way to the gate I noticed a small group of people standing in a circle cheering on two who were fighting. I thought it was a real fight until I got closer. The two had wide smiles while they clobbered each other. One of them was armed with large gauntlets, they looked extremely heavy but she was throwing punches like they werent even there. The other girl had a small buckler on one arm and a large bludgeon in her other hand. I joined the circle to watch the fight but as soon as they saw me they stopped and looked extremely nervous and tense. They all scrambled to line up and bowed in front of me. I dont really understand why all the girls seem scared of me. Ill just have to add this to the things I need to investigate later. Well this and the fact that this particular group of girls look exactly the same.
They all had fiery red short hair and dressed in military looking uniforms with thin jackets, complete with a small hat. Their faces were exactly the same except for their expressions. It was a little wierd to see the exact same face next to each other wearing different expressions.

"Are you all ready?"
"Yes sir!"
"You dont have to bow, we are about to fight together. We are a team."
They stopped bowing but they were still tense and nervous around me. Well, I need to know what they can do. I already what weapons three of them wield. on the far left was the girl with the gauntlets, for some reason they seem smaller now. I guess they get bigger when she is fighting or something. The girl next to her was the one she was fighting, she had a large bludgeon and a buckler shield. Next was a girl who had a bow slung over her shoulder so it was obvious what she did. But the other two didnt seem to have any discernable weapon.
"What weapons do you two use?" I asked them.
The one on the left spoke first.
"I use attack magic and healing magic, she uses daggers and small firearms."
The girl on the right opened her jacket a little and I could see her small aresenal of small metal guns and large knives.
"Okay, what are all of your names?"
From left to right they announced their names.
"One"
"Two"
"Three"
"Four"
"..."
I looked at the dagger girl but she said nothing. She noticed my gaze and squirmed a little bit. The girl next to her took a step forward and looked at me.
"Yes?"
"Five cannot speak sir, we do not know why."
That might be a problem but we will find a way around it.
"Okay, why do you all have numbers instead of names?"
"Sir? Those are our names." One said. "We were created for this mission and given these names."
It doesnt seem like Kevin expects them to survive.
I sighed. "Okay, lets go."
They all saluted me at once and headed for the gate.
**************************************************************************************************
Kevin was almost in tears. He made a plan and its gone horribly wrong. Instead of going back to the command tent like he said he was actually deep in the mine, in a room he had secretly constructed so he could be alone. The miners were forbidden to mine here because it could collapse a large portion of the mines. So he hid it behind a false wall. It was only meant to be somewhere he could just think, but now it was his safe haven. He had hidden something in the factory, something he had been building in secret to secure himself a place here. If Finch or Rala finds it he is finished. He is almost certain they will erase him if they find it. He was currently on the floor in the fetal position almost tearing his hair out. He was hoping that the team he sent with Finch would be enough to fix this mess he had gotten himself in.

The Limits of Limitless
Author's Note: So, new author here, nice to meet you from this lovely one sided conversation lol. I was so tired of waiting for the perfect story for me so I decided to write a few of my own. These are basically just to make me happy, but if you enjoy them too that would make me happy as well lol. ______________________________________________________________________________________ So once upon a time, there was a convienent, and slightly cliche, plot device used by a somewhat lazy author.... Which in turn, created an easily made story of how a lucky high schooler posing as a hardcore gamer dies only to resurrect in a fantasy reality, meeting beautiful women, powerful dragons and ancient beings, an assortment of insanely escentric fellows, and a certain over powered ring. Journey with them as they explore the wilderness of twisted imagination. Or for you old timey folk who like their synopsis a bit tame, here you go: Jason, a senor in highschool, is slowly failing school due to not giving a fuck. Like many people now in the year 3056, he is obsessed with the wonderful invention most lovingly called, 'True Virtual Realities'. now by using his obsession with his favorite Virtual Reality game called 'Reality Controlled', which is the first and so called best Virtual Reality ever made. it was basically the all around escape humanity wished for, and he with heaven defying luck came across one of the three cheat items the game developers left for themselves: The Limitless Ring. The ring was a support type item and had the ability to grant wishes, store worlds, clone items, grant skills and easily learn abilities. But those are just a few of the things it could do. Using the ring he successfully became the "best player" and had a herd of fans following him everywhere. It was a dream come true. Until, he was killed from a power surge that fried his brain which was hooked up to the Nerve Capsule, an unsafe prototype of the Dive gear that he bought do to low funds. The end. Or so you would think.... ______________________________________________________________________________________ Author's Note: I was, to be honest, wanting to do a collab, because to me it is sooooooo incredibly boring to write by yourself since you always know what happens next, however no one enjoys a bit of friendly cooperation *sigh* so I'm forced to journey these roads alone.... 'Tis but a sad fate tha' 'is here young'un has t' bear. The cover isn't mine, all rights and stuff goes to its artist and such.

Fall of Jupiter
What happens when the most powerful man in the world loses his soulmate to a heart attack? What happens when an innocent woman is dragged into a world of magic, and superheroes? Who is the true hero of the story? Note: This is the first book I ever wrote seriously. (I even had a cover made before I decided against publishing it) I'd like to think my writing style has improved with practice, and the multiple other books I've worked on. It felt wrong to leave a nearly completed book gathering dust in my google docs, but I don't think it's good enough to be officially published. As a result, I'm putting it here instead where it at least won't be totally wasted. Eventually, I'll put in the last 10 hours or so to finish it for you guys. Hope you like it :)

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
