[ Rave’s pov ]

Before the battle started, I signaled Master to come out and help me.

This dark spirit is level 34, I wouldn't be able to handle him alone for a long time

After noticing that I had barely dodge his hand, he lunged two of them this time. Pincering me from 2 sides

Tch..I can't dodge this one

Cursing to myself, it is then I noticed that my Master is running from from my left

In a split second decision I immediately dropped my sword to the ground whilst infusing chi into my palm

[ Disturbing Palm ] !

*SHDOOORR * * SHDOOOM*

Using disturbing palm, I hit the left arm and the force flew it to the wall of the caves

At the same time, I noticed Master Po hitting the right arm with [ Dissolving Palm ]

I knew he infused his hit with chi too, and quite a lot of it. The arm he hit..basically exploded

The hit I did only numbed the arm but it was all good, without infusing Chi on my hit, I doubt it would go numb anyway.

The spirit looked at both of his..Ehem..what was left at of his arm and shrieked in anger

*Keaaaaaaakh !!! *

Noticing the one who did the most damage to his arm, it kick-stretched two of his leg at Master’s direction

But master just calmly used both of his palm to launch [ Force Palm ] to stop the thing’s leg in it's tracks

Surprised by Master’s power, it tried to strike it's remaining hand to Master before it noticed it's arm was paralyzed

This time, by instinct it lunged on me instead. Retreating it's outstretched legs back to him

Knowing I was the weaker one, it wanted to finish me first

“ Raull ! “

I could hear master shout in fear that I would get killed, and please master I'm Rave here

The moment it almost came to contact with me, I spun my body around and moved to it's left a bit. Dodging it's attack and landing just right on the sides of it's body

Not wasting any time, I infused my remaining Chi into this attack

[ Dissolving Palm ]

*BDOOOOOMM *

Although not as strong as Master’s it was enough to cripple the spirit’s body and leave a spiral like mark on the place I hit

“ Master ! Save the girls and make sure that merchant doesn't escape or pull up another trick or two “

Before Master could come to help me, I shouted towards him instead to make sure our “ true “ target doesn't run away

“ Alright ! “

I could hear master's replying back to me but all I was focused on is this kittle critter in front of me

“ Now, now if it wasn't for Master here I would have surely taken great damage or died “

I smiled as I approached it, taking the sword I left on the ground awhile ago. it tried to move and get away but the pain in his body prevented him from doing that

“ I would have loved to battle you 1 vs 1 next time “

The Dark Spirit is not weak, he was pretty strong for a level 34 monster. But me and master is just too much for him, heck I bet Master could kill it on his own

“ But for now I have to take your exp to get stronger ~ “

Since it's to grotesque to describe how I kill him, I'll just summarize it..basically I just stab and stab and stab.

As I finished my job here, I turned back and saw master cornering the scared looking merchant

Rave walked deeper into the cave and reached where the merchant, master and his wagon that has the 3 girls in it

The cave was pretty silent now. After the critter had died all that I could hear was the sounds made by the merchant chattering his teeth and lying on the ground

It made him looked quite small, although he was a short person anyway. but in front of master who was pretty small sized in build giving off an aura that strong made it look like he became smaller..

“ P-P-Please spare me, I will do anything ! I will give you anything ! “

Master looked at him one more time in a fierce demeanor and walked away.

“ Hmm....i’ll leave him to you Rave, I better get those girls out of there “

I looked at the merchant, he is basically in a very bad state right now. His snot and tears are everywhere right now, I bet he didn't think that his spirit would be defeated.

“ What is the Dark Merchants Community ? “

“ I-I d-don’t know how you get information about us in the first place, b-bu-but please don't force me talk about them, if I give you information about them I would die ! “

I looked him with disbelief

“ Die ? Oh surely you aren't lying ? “

“ Please believe in me ! They contract I signed stated that any kind of information I gave out would kill me ! “

“ How can you be so sure? You're talking about the contract right now, isn't that giving off information about the community too ? “

“ Hmmm..okay, next question..what are you planning to do with those girls ? “

In EverWorld, when one logged out they would respound in the place they left earlier but if they die or force logged out they would respound in the nearest respound area, usually a church.

[ Kaede’s pov ]

Gurkhh..I can't believe it, my mistake in judgment led to me and my friends doom. I didn't expect a trap that accurately placed to be there.

When he carried us inside his wagon I was already fearing for the worst, inside the game r18 stuff may not be allowed without both parties consent but we could still be slaves or something and that would make us unable to enjoy the game too..and we just bought it..

Then just when I was thrown inside the wagon, I heard someone talk

I tried to scream but my mouth was covered by a cloth, the others too I guess

I couldn't see that well since the cloth covering the wagon is covering my vision but I could make out a boy from the little space that the cloth isn't covering, before Lily tried to wriggle around and made the cloth go down and covered the whole view

“ Nice going Lily “ I though to myself, being pretty mad at her. But I couldn’t blame her could I ?

But moments later I could hear a battle started between the one earlier and..a creature? I don't know what it is but I think I heard the merchant saying “ dark spirit “ or something

Moments later I could hear the battle ending and someone coming close to us

The cloth above us is opened and..the one who saved us was an…old man ?!

“ Hey little lady, are you expecting a prince or something else to come to your rescue ? “

The old man talked to me as he could see my eyes widening at him

*mmmph..mmph*

“ Er, oh yeah sorry there's no way you could talk can't you ? “

The old man untied the cloth holding to my mouth and began to untie the rope too

*Hah*Hah*

It's been awhile since I could breathe freely so it took a while for me to regain my voice

“ Umm..mister ? Are you the one who helped us ? “

I asked him since the figure I saw was a young boy around my age

“ Ahaha, if you're looking for your prince little lady he’s right there “

He pointed at the boy that I saw earlier with the merchant that captured us..lying on the ground

[ 3rd Pov ]

“ Well, is that all you have on you ? “

Rave questioned the merchant after getting all of his things except the cloth he’s wearing

“ Y-yes ! Please spare me now ! You can even take the things on my wagon ! “

The merchant gave everything he had to Rave, even the dark spirit ring and the concealment ring

“ Okay, look mister.. I would have loved to put you in a prison or something close to that. But the problem is, the closest village here, Numeda basically had a very low security. And I would be troubled if your comrades came and kill them to get you out “

“ B-but ! “

Before Brukshgig could voice his complaint he was cut by Rave

“ And it would be a hassle to bring you in my journey, especially I don't want to leave yet… That's why..die “

Before He could finish his sentence, Rave swung his sword on Brukshgig's head and killed him at the process
