《Tricked into another world!》Chapter 25 Displaced Feelings

“I can’t stand it anymore! You’re absolutely disgusting!”
“And where do you think you’re going?!!”
“Away from all of you! What else?!!”
“Wait, Reyna!”
“Shut-up! I don’t care anymore!”
“Mimi, let her go. Without us, she won’t make it far. She’ll definitely come back”
In an outburst of anger, Reyna stormed off, quickly leaving the party.
“Mimi thinks… what if… what if Reyna doesn’t come back this time?”
In a worried voice, I stared into the empty thicket of trees, covered in the void of darkness that the starlit sky brought along.
“Hu~ someone like that doesn’t need to come back”
The beautiful woman with blonde hair, wearing leather clothes that emphasized her breasts immediately responded back to me.
“That’s right, an immature brat like that doesn’t have the right to stand next to someone as great as Glenn”
The other beautiful girl with dark green hair, wearing a flashy robe, stood next to Glenn exposing a sinister expression.
The both of them, they really hated Reyna.
“Mimi… Mimi will go look for her…”
“Then hurry up, we’re leaving soon”
In a harsh tone, Glenn rebuked me. It wasn’t often that he would forcefully say things like that. I stood there feeling alienated under the gaze of the other two women.
Why...? why did it turn out like this…? I thought to myself, how did our adventure up until now become so unbearable? The bonds that connect us together are crumbling too fast.
Reyna this time seemed really upset. Her expression was one of complete and utter disgust. The moment she left, it was as if she were looking at a pile of trash that had already begun to rot for several days, oozing with black sludge while releasing a horribly sour stench.
Turning around, I followed after Reyna. I absolutely didn’t want the bond that connects all of us together to break.
I ran through the empty path we had come from, looking for any kind of sign that Reyna was around.

Over the course of this past month, Reyna had already been quickly deteriorating. Her sanity was being consumed. For one month, we actively searched for our missing friend while upholding the duties set on us when we were summoned. We searched and searched, but we didn’t find him. All of our leads, led only to the others who were summoned with us.
“Haa… hah..”
Running out of breath, I stopped and looked around. Reyna was gone. She had probably gone down a different route than we originally came from. I could only hear the noisy insects that buzzed around in the bushes nearby.
Giving up, I traced the path back to where Glenn and the others were waiting. Although I didn’t like the other two women, I hated being alone the most. It was much more comforting to be around people, even if they didn’t like you.
“eh…?”
When I made it back, there was no one waiting for me. Did they go ahead without me?
I looked around again.
No one was around.
My heart sank. It was the first time Glenn had ever ditched me.
Reyna was nowhere to be found, and Glenn had gone ahead.
Not knowing what to do, I decided to go back to town. I hoped Glenn was right, and that Reyna would be waiting at the inn.
Making it back to town, it was already morning. I had gotten lost and wandered around in the woods for a few hours, and made it back just as the sun was rising. I was tired and wanted to sleep.
Walking up to the inn, I noticed Glenn was waiting outside along with the two girls.
Was he waiting for me? Maybe he was worried about me.
“Where is Reyna?!!”
Scary
“Is she hiding from me?!! I’ve done nothing wrong, tell me where I can find her right now”
In an angry voice, he stared at me with an expression I had never seen before.

“Mimi doesn’t know…”
Did Reyna really leave? Was she not inside our room?
“Where the hell did you go last night then?!!”
Scary
“Mimi… Mimi got lost in the woods…”
“Bullshit!”
It’s as if all his anger is being directed at me. It’s scary.
“That place is too damn small to get lost in!”
“Mimi is, is… Mimi is telling the truth…”
In a frightened voice, I looked at the ground away from him. I couldn’t look at him anymore. The face he was making was too scary. It was filled with anger. I had never seen him this angry before.
“I see. So that’s how it’s gonna be. Ha ha ha ha ha… I’m a fool for believing in you…”
All of a sudden, his voice calmed down. Looking up at him, he was laughing at the sky.
“We’re done. Get out of my sight”
Huh…?
“I don’t need Reyna”
What…?
“And I especially don’t need someone like you!”
He began walking away from me immediately after.
Did he really mean those words?
“Mimi really really loves you… Do you… hate Mimi…?”
I softly called out to him with a trembling voice.
“You’re annoying, don’t follow me around anymore”
His expression was the same as Reyna’s. It was a look of disgust.
My heart shook as tears began forming in my eyes.
Why? Why is this happening?
My vision began to blur as I watched him turn his back on me again, and leave with the other two women. Tears dripped down my face.
This is a dream right? Glenn isn’t like that at all. It’s the complete opposite of how he normally is. It was the same with Reyna. Her personality turned full circle into someone I didn’t know.
Thinking that it was simply a dream, I slowly walked into the inn and into the empty room that Reyna and I had shared until last night.
“When I—… sniff…… wake up, everything will be—hic… alright…”
I tried to convince myself that everything that happened wasn’t real.
“I’ll go to sleep… and when I wake up, this nightmare will be over”
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Just as I sat down on the bed ready to fall asleep, someone was knocking at the door.
Did Reyna come back?
Quickly jumping off the bed, I rushed over to the door and opened it.
“Yo!”
However, it was someone else that greeted me at the door.
“How’s it going Mimi!”
Wiping away the residual tears, I prepared to answer back.
“Umm… was it Chin? Or… Shin? Anyways, Mimi asks… what are you doing here?”
“Hey… It’s not Chin or Shin yes?!!… there’s an entire letter you’re missing! Shien! The ‘E’ isn’t silent yes?!!”
Immediately he corrected me with the pronunciation of his name.
For the first time in a while, I smiled a little.
“Anyway, I thought I’d drop by and let you know that I’ve found him”
“him?”
Looking at Shien with a curious expression, I wondered who he meant by ‘Him’.
“The person you three have been looking for, Tetsu. He was in Serafall City, but by now he’s probably gone. Though, I don’t think he’s left the territory of Minerva yet.”
My eyes opened as soon as I heard his name.
“I’ll let you get back to whatever it is you’re doing. My group is heading towards the Labyrinth City, See ya!”
He quickly left after the brief message.
Tetsu... That’s right. The three of us had been searching for him for the last month since we arrived in this world. If he was here, Reyna wouldn’t have left. If he was here, then Glenn wouldn’t have gotten angry. If he was here, all of us would still be together.
Everything, all of it was his fault!
Tears began building up once again. But this time, it wasn’t tears of sadness. It was tears of anger.
