[Hmmm.. I'm clearly sure I could do it this time... But why it suddenly dissipate?]

Leo muttered.

Its been several days after Leo discovered that he could feel mana. But he's still trying to figure it out how could he condense pure mana on his palm. He know this is possible because he could do it with his elementary healing magic.

[Hmmm..... Maybe I should try to draw mana outside of my body too?]

While thinking so, he stretch out his right hand again and try to do it. But after several minutes he stopped.

[I can't control the mana outside of my body. But I could feel it though? I should try first to control my own mana.]

He stretch his left hand now this time and cast his healing magic. A ball of white light condense atop of his palm. After that, it merge to his body healing it, then white light covered his body. He closed his eyes and tried to feel the healing magic that entered his body.

[I can sense my healing magic running in every parts of my body. Is there really a way to completely control my magic? Maybe I should try to stop my healing magic first to go to every parts of my body.]

Thinking so, he cast a healing magic again. This time, after the healing magic entered his bidy. White light appeared again in his whole body. But this time, the white light that covered his body is much more dimmer except from his right arm.

[Oh! Its really possible! That's my first time but I could already barely manipulate magic! Hmm?]

While Leo is celebrating, his parents entered the house with smiles on their face.

"Leo! Come here. We're going outside!" (Ark)

"Come, a party of adventurer will soon entered our village. I heard one of them is a beast tamer! He has a big monster as a pet! There's also a mage! Don't you want to see it?" (Nelia)

[Oh. A tamer huh. That's kinda rare profession. It's better to go there. Maybe I might learn a bit or two about taming.]

"Yesh! I wantsh chu go!" (Leo)

In the middle of small plaza. Many villager gathered around it looking at the visitors. The eyes of the villagers are filled with curiosity and vigilance. In front of them are the village chief talking to a group of 4 people and one large beast. All of them are at mess. Their armors are rigged and full of scratches, and blood. But you could see that they don't have a single wound in them.

"Welcome to our small village adventurer." (Village chief)

The village chief welcome the adventures with smile.

But the adventurers ignore her and talk to themselves.

But the village chief didn't mind it and let them continue.

"What a rotten luck. We won't be able the replenish here." A bulky bald man with a large sword in his back said.

"We got no choice~ this is the only village we saw in a while. At least we could rest with a roof above our heads." A man with holding staff replied to the bald man.

"Hmmp. As long I could rest properly I can spend a single night here." An elf man with bow on his back said.

"Heh~ as for me. As long I can taste a good woman. I don't mind staying here for a while. Hehehe." Sitting atop of a large wolf beast, the man with huge scar on his left eye said with sinister smile.

When the village chief heard the man with sinister smile, her back immediately got covered in cold sweat. The adventurers noticed this and thought she was scared of them.

"A-adventurers, I'm sorry, but our village can only offer you some house to rest in. Our village is poor so we can't offer you anything, please understand." (Village chief)

"You think we're blind? We already see that! Whatever! Bring us to the finest house here!" (Bald man)

"O-okay. Please follow me!" (Village chief)

"Oy. Don't forget to bring girls to us tonight, hehehe." (Scarface)

"I-I'm sorry adventurers. But we don't have a woman would suit your taste in our village. We only have here are us elders. So please." (Village chief)

The village chief said nervously.

But when the scarface about to bad-mouth the village chief. He saw Nelia in the crowd.

"Heh~ I could see that the girls in this village are really trash. But what do we have here. A gold inside of a bunch of trashes. Hehehe that girl is alright for me." (Scarface)

"Oh. You're right. Hehehe. Come with us you missy hehehe." (Bald man)

The bald man walks toward Nelia. Nelia's face paled when she saw this.

But when the bald man was about to grab Nelia. Ark grabbed his hand instead. Even though the bald man's body is large. Compared to Ark, he is nothing. Ark's body is more bulkier, and he could be compared to a bear.

The reason this village is still standing is because of Ark. Even though Ark does not have a good brain. He is still the strongest in this village. He can kill normal beasts that wander outside of the forest to search for the food from time to time. And the normal beast he's dealing off was the beast came from the forest.

The bald man's whole attention was focused entirely to Nelia. He doesn't really care about the other villagers stop him because he knows that they can't stop him. So when he's hands got grabbed. He instantly got angry and was about to free his hand to punch the guy who stopped him.

"You got guts! Fuck off!" (Bald man)

CRACK

"Huh?" (Bald man)

But before he can do what he wanted to do. He heard something broke. He looked at his hand then screamed hysterically.

"Aaahhhhhhh!!!! My hand!!!!" (Bald man)

Tha bald man's hand was still trapped by Ark, and he was trying to free himself but failed.

"Do you have a business with my wife?! Huh?!" (Ark)

Bang!

Ark punch the bald man.

"Ughfu!"

"Hey... What are you trying to do with my wife. Huh?!" (Ark)

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Ark repeatedly punched the bald man's face without letting go of his hands. He only stopped when he saw the bald man's cheeks is already swollen.

"uuurhrrgg... Release me or I'll fucking kill you! You bastards! What are you looking at?! Kill this man!!" (Bald man)

He looked at his party and cried for help. But when he saw his surroundings, he saw all the residents of this village was already holding weapons in their hands, looking at him and his party with cold eyes.

This is when he realized they kicked a metal bucket.

Although this village is small and tattered. This village still consist of 70 people, including woman, elders and children. The residents of this village took care of each other and treat each other as a family. So when they saw this adventurers act like this. They already readied their weapons.

The bald man's party members are all tensed up and doesn't dare to move, afraid of agitating the villagers to attack them. They didn't expect that this villager's has a guts, and unafraid. Before they knew it. They we're already surrounded by forks, knife, axes etc.

This time the village chief looked at the adventurer with cold eyes too and opened her mouth.

"Dear guests. It seems like your attitude doesn't match your occupation and looks. I think it's better for you to leave our village and never come back." (Village chief)

"You dare to attack us?! Huh?! Did you think we will left you off?! We will kill every people in this village!" (Scar face)

"Don't try scare us. Don't you think its already weird why we still chose live in this place even though we are on the edge of the evil forest? Because we can. And did you think we gathered here because the villagers are just curious to you guys? Then you're wrong. Even though this village is small and poor and our residents are weak. We still know how to fight to protect our family. I know you have the power to kill us. But please don't think we will just stand here and let you massacre us. We can take 3 of you to with us before we got annihilated. Do you want to try?" (Village chief)

Scarface looked at the village chief with disbelief. But when he looked at Ark, he knows their not bluffing.

"Tsk! Let go of our companion and we will leave!" (Magician)

"Ark, let go of that baldy." (Village chief)

Ark looked at the village chief as if telling 'I don't wanna', but still let go.

When bald man got his hand back, he suddenly unsheath his large sword with his other hand and slash it to Ark.

But Ark just stared at the bald man with cold eyes then deflect the large sword with the back of his hand then threw a punch to the bald man's abdomen.

The bald man couldn't even react and was sent flying to his party. When his party saw this, they realized again that this village really is not simple.

"I won't kill you today. But the next time I see you. I will kill you immediately no matter what the situation is. Remember that." (Ark)

The 3 remaining adventurer and a beast who picked up the bald man then run towards the exit of the village.

All of this was seen by Leo. He watched the adventurers running towards the exit with cold eyes while thinking of something.

[Maybe this is the reason my parents and all the villagers here got killed in my past life. Those adventurers. Base on their attitude. They will come back here for revenge. It's too bad that I can't learn a thing about beast taming. But they need to die tonight.]

The villagers was still in the plaza silently looking at the 4 adventurers. Until they can't see the adventurer, on of the villager ask the village chief.

"Village chief, is that okay? I'm sure they will come back here again." (Villager 1)

"Should we hunt them down then kill them tonight?" (Villager 2)

"Yeah that's right. We should kill them before they kill us! Slaughter them!" (Villager 3)

After hearing this, the other villagers agreed to villager 3's Idea.

"Shut the fuck up you bunch of little shits! Don't talk like killing in front of the children you pieces of shits! Its not good for the children to learn that! Do you want your children grew where killing is normal huh?! You are becoming bad example to your children you little fuckers!" (Village chief)

"But you are the one who's the bad example to our kids..." (Villager 4)

"Shut the fuck up! Do you want to get beaten huh?! Go back to your work!" (Village chief)

After being reprimanded by the village chief. All the villagers go backs to their daily routine.
