[Hey shut up. I can't concentrate here. Go away if you will just distract me.]

After saying that, Leo goes back to what he was doing.

[You really shut your mouth huh. Good! I'm gonna concentrate no-]

7 years later.

[Huh?]

Leo got surprised when he heard those 3 words.

Leo instinctively looked up to his mother but taken aback on what he saw.

[Leaves????]

Yes. What he saw is a bunch of green leaves connected to a small branches, while the small branches connected to more thicker branches.

He looked down and saw himself squatting in a thick branch of tree, his bow drawn, ready to release the arrow.

"What are you doing Leo? The beast is about to leave! Shoot!" (Ark)

He looked at his side and saw his fatjer Ark, urging him to release the arrow.

"Eh?" (Leo)

Suddenly, his vision began to fade. After that, he felt an intense pain coming from his brain. As if someone is holding his brain and continuously twisting it and ripping it apart, at the same time banging it in to a metal. He could hear a super loud bell too in both of his ears!

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" (Leo)

Leo screamed in pain and clutches his head. He loses his balance and fell from the branch he was on. Luckily, Ark reacted quickly and catch Leo before landing carefully.

"Aaaaasrrhrhrhhhrhhhghgg!" (Leo)

Leo keep screaming.

"Leo! Leo! What's happening with you?!" (Ark)

Ark panicked because his son suddenly screamed in pain for no reason. He immediately checked his surroundings scream to check if there's a monster near them. They were inside of the evil forest, and many dangerous magical beast is lurking inside of it. As for the beast Leo targeting. It fled in fear after it heard Leo's soul screeching scream.

Making up a decision, Ark picked up Leo then run with his full speed towards the exit of the forest. He paid no heed to the roars of the monster he heard at the distance and dodge all the obstacles he meet on his way out.

Leo keep screaming and clutching his head and sometimes cough blood. He already damage his throat. Ark noticed this, and knock Leo out to stop him.

Fortunately, no beast appeared in front of him and he safely arrived at the entrance of the village. He suddenly look at one of the guard then said.

"Quick! Call the village chief to my house! Something happened to Leo!" (Ark)

Then he rushed to his house.

"What happened to Leo village chief?!" (Nelia)

Nelia asked the village with teary eyes. She looked at the sleeping Leo, who's face twist sometimes because of pain he is experiencing. She couldn't help it and cry.

The village chief shook her head.

"I don't know. He don't have wounds in his head except of some scratches cause by him. There's no bite marks too in his body. So that negated my conclusion earlier that he kight get poison." (Village chief)

She looked st Ark and asked,

"Ark, do you noticed something where you two at?" (Ark)

Ark shook his head.

"I really don't. He just suddenly screamed like that. I don't think the air is poisoned too. If there's a poison in air, then I should have been poisoned too, because we're basically just standing to each other." (Ark)

Ark said grimly.

"Don't worry Nelia. I don't think Leo's life is in danger. There's no problem in his body. Maybe we should just wait for the time being." (Village chief)

The village chief looked at the unconscious Leo, shooked her head, then left.

[Where am I?]

At the time when Leo's vision fade, and before he screamed in pain. He found himself in a dark empty space. He looked around but couldn't see anything but darkness.

[Did I died again? But I can still feel the mana inside of my body.]

Leo stretch out his hand and look at it, then he was surprised because his hand are full of cracks. He look at his other hand, then in his body.

[What the hell!? What happened to my body???]

Leo, who was just a soul for now, saw the situation of his body and panicked. But, the wierd thing is he doesn't feel any pain coming from this cracks in his body. So he eventually calm down and assess his situation again.

[Why is it full of cracked?! Did I die again?? Hey, the one talking to himself! Am I dead?! Wierd, I got the feeling its not here with me this time. Did I really died? But I couldn't remember being killed! All I can remember is.... Oh...]

Leo realize what happened to him. Just like the last time, when he heard the '1 year later' he felt the same head cracking pain. But what he experience this time was 7 times more painful than the last one.

[If what's happening to me this time is the same from the last time. But where am I? Where is this place? How did I ended up here? Did someone abducted me while I'm unconscious? Oh... And I still haven't received the memories of this past 7 years!]

Leo looked around while lost in his oen thoughts and noticed that in the middle of the dark, there was now a point of white light. Its slowly getting bigger and bigger. Clearly, its getting nearer to him.

When the point of light, now a 1 foot ball of light arrived in front of him. It suddenly stop.

[What is this?]

He observed it, and didn't dare to touch it. He fly around it and inspect it. Suddenly, 6 more light emerge from the darkness and approached him then stop right in front of him.

[Am I supposed to touch this?]

Leo wonder then extend his hand to the first ball of light. Suddenly, as if there's a blackhole in the middle of his oalm. The ball of white light entered his palm. At the same time, Leo received all of the memories, starting from the last image he knew before he got transferred to the forest to his 2nd birthday.

Leo felt an intense pain when the white light entered his body. When he touched the ball of light first, he didn't feel a thing. But when it entered his body, it became so hot, as if a thick liquid of molten metal rush through his veins, then to his muscles, and to the cracks on his body.

Not only that, his head feels like its going to explode because of all the information rushing through his brain and forcing itself in it.

Leo couldn't help but cry because of the pain he experiencing now.

[Fuuuuuck!!!!!]

Leo doesn't know where to place his hand to suppress the pain. All he could do is roll in to a ball then flail around. But because of this, he touched the other ball of lights too and got absorbed by his body.

The result.

The pain he is experiencing now multiplied 7 more times. All the memories of him living in these past 7 years rushed through his randomly.

Leo wanted to faint but couldn't. He can't. The pain is preventing him to faint.

[Hah~ hah~ Hah~ damn it!]

Leo gasp for breath. He doesn't know how long it has been since he got here in this dark space.

After several days. The pain already subsided but he still couldn't move. No, he chose not to move. He is afraid that his body will shatter if he suddenly move. Looking at his body. Every part of it has cracked. But between this cracks are liquified gold metal that still haven't solidified.

Leo's insticnt told him that if he move his body before this liquified gold metal harden, he will undoubtedly die. So he didn't dare to move.

All he could do is to calm himself, gather all the information he obtained and organize it.

[7 years. Goddamnit! Can't you just warn me first before pushing me into this situation! Can't we just talk about it first?! Haaaaaaaaah~ it's okay me. It's okay. Pain will make you stronger.]

Leo sighed in resignation.

[Why the hell is this happening to me? I know this wouldn't be the last time. I really need to talk to that voice about this time-skip. Damn it. Haaaah~

Still, where am I? How could I get back to my place? Heeeey..... Are you there? Taaalk to meeeee...... Haaah.. damnit... Well.. there's nothing I can do, than reviewing my newly found memories.]

Leo, giving up on calling to someone. Decided to review the memories he got durong his sufferings.

There's nothing really special happen to him this past 7 years except of his mana capacity grew more and now he can manipulate his mana freely. He can somehow control the mana outside of his body too, albeit not that good.

He also learned that 'he' also trained his body when he turned 3 years old. Everyday, he will wake up 3 am in the morning then run around the village 2 times without the magic body enhancement. After running, he will do 20 push ups, 20 sit ups, 20 squats, sword training and even bow training.

Every month, he will add the 1 lap on his run, and 10 counts in his daily training, and every 12 months he will double it. So right now his body is stronger than majority of adults in his village.

[Maybe the reason my body was full of cracks because of my training??]

As for magic training, he always deplete his mana every night and improve his mana manipulation technique.

But the wierdest thing is, upto now. He still hasn't use beast taming he learned from scar face.

[What the hell 'me'? You really are lazy. After I got out here. I'm gonna tame some beast.]

While reviewing all of his memories, suddenly, Leo felt sleepy. His eyelids is getting heavy and slowly closing. Leo got startled, but couldn't do anything but slowly close his eyes then fall asleep.
