Fire GolemFire MantisA golem is a creature whom consumes resources to build its body, all golems are uniquely built and no two will look alike, the only feature which is present in all golems is their core located in their body

Body capable of being constructed as to user whim, the better the material used the strong the body, size is limited to Mana regeneration, every KG of weight adds X amount of Mana consumption

combat and defence depending on material used, as the golems body is infused with Mana it is possibly for the golem to conjure magic from any part of its body

Exhausted and aching all over my weary eyes reading slow but steadily, I should be happy, I've always wanted this to happen and yet the only strength I could muster was that of reading word for word the previous fight having completely drained, I couldn't rush yet I didn't have the luxury of time.

Having finally decided I chose Dragon *Beep*

"Wait this wasn't a part of the deal! I'm already freaky! and why did you make it more pai...ARRRAGGGHHHHH"

Intense pain seared through my body, my once clear ruby body began bubbling inside, as if a bottle of acid was shaken, with each passing second the bubbling grew in intensity grew, until as if a switch was flipped it all suddenly stopped.

The excruciating pain vacant for all but a few seconds, suddenly a drop fell from my core, followed by another, until the liquid substance was gushing out, the liquid acting as if it was raw nerves.

Pain Tolerance is now level 2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9

Pain Tolerance has evolved into Passive (Pain Suppression) level 1

The pain growing numb my once squinted vision releasing I noticed the changes to my body, my once cube shaped body lodged into a mound of growing goo as the minutes go by the mound starts sprouting small bumps until suddenly they burst forth forming legs, others into wings and the largest forming into what I could tell as a head.

The goo slowing down the features start to refine slightly until the world get darker and darker until the world went fully black, a new sensation welled up in me, the surge of power, unquenchable power, whispering to me "Go on, let your wrath be felt, you owe nothing, let the world pay for its sins to you" and for a moment, I nearly gave in, the sweetness so satisfying yet left me craving for more.

*Crack* my train of thought distracted, I desperately searched for the source before it repeated again, gradually getting more frequent and louder as if calling me out from the darkness, I felt my dark prison growing weaker, the phantom limbs I had once felt now material I found myself able to move slightly, with every shiver in my body the cracks grew even louder and more frequent.

Getting hyped from this slow release I tensed my muscles, my new legs welling in power and with it I jumped *THUD* *CRACK* my body slamming back down, my prison shattering into tiny pieces of glass.

Vision returning I found myself marvelling at my strange new body, as if from a fairy tale my body was what I could only describe as a walking piece of art.

My body a glorious 2 meters tall, 2 meters long and meter wide covered in many hundreds of tiny ruby scales, head adorned with a crown of ruby pillars were complimented only by my fire red eyes, my snout with three rows of razor sharp fanged teeth.

My feet as if adorned with jewellery had fiercely sharp claws, each claw 3 inches long and slender, a deeper shade of red than my normal scales.

On my behind was one of the many new addition presented itself, a tail, half my body in length my new tail was smooth until the very end, adorned on the end was a small crystal tip, dangerously sharp even a casual jab from it could pierced a rock effortlessly.

As if like a cape two thick poles attached to a set of wings which was folded over my back, smooth and transparent the layer of pinkish wings, despite having no experience they felt as if they were a natural part of my body, as if I had them for many years.

excitedly Keen to test my new wings I flapped them over and over as hard as I could, but no matter how much I struggled with each flap only gave small amounts of lift, giving up for now I had plenty of time to practice later on.

Turning my attention to the blue screens I scrolled through each one.

Marvelling at my new abilities I decided to invest my points into magic, investing a further 30 points into Intelligence and Wisdom I was left with 40 points to spare, thus with my remaining points I put the rest into Endurance.

Despite everything that had happened today I had yet to feel truly exhausted, my body not constrained to fatigue and having learnt my lesson I steadied myself to test my new abilities.

Starting with a simple breath attack I felt the rush of mana travel up my neck with a deep breath I fired my breath at my target.

Aiming at a stump sticking out of the lake, watching as my breath attack consumed the log in a sea of flames I continued firing until a thick mist of steam arose from the lake, the once moss covered log now charcoal a thick smile was plastered on my snout, a deep sense of satisfaction at my new-found powers.

With that I continued to practice with my new body.

Now your probably thinking, riot! you bloody dun goofed up! dragon's won!, yes they did but only with a 5% margin, hardly a landslide.

sooo... to do justice for both sides I decide to split the winnings, dragons get the priority while hydra's get little.

To those whom voted golem and fire mantis, I'm sorry your choice didn't get chosen, I was rooting for them as well.

and to those whom gave some interesting suggestions while it was just unfortunate that it just wasn't what I felt suitable towards the story but I really do appreciate the feedback so far.
