“Hey, Mom what are we having for dinner tonight?”

“Im serious im going to have you experience your first ancestral memory.”

The last thing that I remember is her dashing over to me and tapping me on my head.

“You could have at least explained what he was going to experience.”

I awake to see a forest made out of crystal shards and a fox running out of sight. I instinctively chase after the fox. The fox is just fast enough for me to see where it’s going yet far enough that I can’t catch up to it.

After what seemed like an endless amount of time the fox stopped and looked up at a crystal shard which was unlike every other shard. It was as if there was a war of color on the shard. It was gold, red and white constantly eating each other for space. Right after I see it I feel like my soul is getting sucked into the crystal.

For a brief second I suddenly find myself in a transparent room that is rushing through a countless amount of places and images. After the brief second I see an extremely hazy kitsune with nine tails, one golden eye and one crimson eye fighting a person with jet black hair, two horns on his head and a women with cascading golden hair with a stereotypical halo above her.
The kitsune said “I never thought that I would be so honored to have the king of demons and queen of angels form an alliance just to defeat me.”

The man with jet black hair said “You're an abomination of both Heaven and Hell!”
Then the women with golden hair said “To think that the archdemon Asmodeus renowned for his lust would actually fall in love and try to become an angel”
The kitsune said “I am disdained by both of you. To think that the queen of angels wants to kill me because I wish to give up my demonic heritage and ascend to the angels and the so called king of hell wishes to kill me because I wanted to meet my loved one when he fell to demonhood just to resurrect his loved one.”
The man replied with “Yes, but I didn’t defy one of the laws that the Gods decided upon.”
The women finally said “Zephyr, we don’t have any more time we need to end him once and for all.”
Zephyr replied with “Zyanna, wait just one moment”
Zephyr then turned to the kitsune and said “I really regret having to do this old friend.”
Then suddenly two gigantic swords appeared one pitch black and one resplendent golden.
Zephyr and Zyanna shouted in unison “Heaven and Hell, Interlocking Swords of Pride and Humility.”
After that I got thrown out of the dream into reality

“Mom.”
“What hun.?”
“WHAT WAS THAT!?”
“It was your first ancestral memory. Basically you got to see the memory of your ancestor.”
“What about the beautiful crystal forest and the beautiful fox?”
“The crystal forest is your soul and the fox is your spirit guide.”
A voice I haven’t heard in quite a bit ringed throughout my head.
(Your spirit is probably if not the most trustworthy thing that you will ever know. It is basically your soul twin. It guides you through your own soul and allows you to communicate to spirits.)

“So, it’s basically my soul mate correct?”
(To an extent yes but it’s very rare for you to fall in love with your spirit guide because your almost exactly the same)
“So it’s like a doppelganger of souls and does the fact it’s a fox have to do with the fact i’m a kitsune?”
(If a doppelganger had slight differences then yes your spirit guide could be considered a doppelganger and the fact that it’s a fox just means that is its current form.)
“Hey, Lulu any more questions?”
“No, Mom.”

I looked behind me and saw a tail with a gold and black tip. I immediately fell in love with it! I tried to move it around for hours and it didn’t work but suddenly I felt like it was any other limb and could move it around at will.
A stern voice just shouted into my ear
“Lugh, are you done admiring your own tail?”
I was startled and jumped backwards and fell and then I saw my dad rolling on the ground laughing.
“Anyways, Lugh what did you see in your ancestor's memory?
“I, saw a angel and a demon forming a sword to kill my ancestor. Is that weird?”
“Wait, you saw the death of your ancestor first?”
“Well I assume he died because two gigantic swords were about to pierce through him.”
“Phew, at least you didn’t see his death.”
“Why is that good?”
“Because usually when you see your ancestor's death that usually signifies the last ancestral memory.”
“That’s bad because?”
“That would be the last tail you can have and the more tails you have the stronger you become. Oh yeah check your status screen you should feel stronger and can use more mana.”
