The gate opened and Mari stepped inside. As they entered the manor they were greeted by a tall beautiful man in a white doctor's gown. His face lustrous and flowing, behind his ears were a fan of white feathers protruding to the back. And on the bridge of his nose sat a pair of rectangular glasses.
Mari: Master Elegance I have brought the specimen and another unkown entity for you.
Elegance: I am very excited! Just like when I was just a wee little swan chick. I got to research my first PHOENIX!
He then proceeded to make an awkward pose. Standing on one leg with his arms spread like wings. To which Mari only stared emotionlessly.
Elegance: It really is hard to get a reaction from you.
Mari: Sir, I am a M.A.R.I. unit. Emotions are a hindrance to logical choices during a mission. Yet, I still long for that which makes a person.

So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.

Live by the Sword
--Follow a bandit prone to making poor choices in life. He lives in a somewhat medieval age where steel is king, blood is shed fairly lightly, and weakness gets you punished fast. But that's okay. As long as he has his sword, he'll be fine. Right? --This story is tragic and contains some depictions of violence and nudity. The attitudes of the characters don't represent my views and some of them are highly questionable. Due to these reasons, I've flagged the story as adult content. --I've been working on Live by the Sword since as far back as 2012 and it is my first actual effort at completing a book. Maybe I'll stick with it and there will be paperbacks of it some day. Who knows. Either way, I hope the words I tell give you amusement and perhaps some cause to think. Cheers.
