Author's Note: Life holds people up it seems... Sorry for late release.
Yen and Ai enter the classroom and inside sit 15 other students. The desks are arranged in 4 tiers with three desks per tier and two students per desk.
Ai looks around for an empty seat and immediately spots a nice spot with sunlight next to a male student with dark purple hair.
Ai: “Good morning. Can I sit here?”
Purple Hair: “Oh! Sure this seat is open.”
The guy gets up and pulls out the chair for Ai like a gentleman would.
Ai: “Thanks!”
Ai sits down and smiles at her newfound seatmate as he reseats himself. Yen puts himself on the window sill.
Purple Hair: “It’s no problem. I’m just being courteous. What’s your name by the way?”
Ai: “I’m Ailith! My friends call me Ai! Who’re you?”
Purple Hair: “I’m Theodore. Theo for short. I’m the son of a feudal lord.”
Yen: [So he is a noble. He doesn’t seem like those two dumbasses that were fighting in the arena.]
Yen listens in closely to the conversation as they exchange information. Suddenly the door to the classroom opens and a sharp featured, brown haired man with glasses walks in with a large tome and slams it down on the teacher’s podium.
*BAM*
Teacher: “I am Mr. Olyver.”
He enunciates each word he speaks.
Mr. Olyver: “I will be your teacher for this class. Now then. The seats you are currently sitting in will be your permanent. Permanent, seats.”
Yen: [He seems to be rather strict. I hope Ai can handle this and doesn’t do anything rash.]
Mr. Olyver opens up his tome and starts taking role. He goes down the list alphabetically and when he confirms that all of the students are present he turns the page and starts teaching.

Mr. Olyver: “Please open your book and turn to the chapter titled ‘Reading For Meaning’”
Ai: “Mmm. page… page…”
Yen: “34”
Ai: “Thanks Yen!”
Yen: [We may need to train her life skills rather than her combat skills in the dream world… maybe I can drag someone else into the world to teach her.]
While Yen wonders about what to do about Ai’s literary skills, the teaching has begun.
Mr. Olyver: “Hmm everyone has found it now yes? How about… Ailith, can you read the first paragraph for us?”
Ai:”Okay! Umm how do I read this word?”
Mr. Olyver: “Literature.”
Ai: “Oh! Literature is a umm how about this one?”
Mr. Olyver looks at Ai dumbfoundedly and immediately looks away and chooses someone else to read instead. The class passes without Ai getting a chance to read anything else.
The bell rings with a deep, brass tone, signaling the ending of the first class of the day.
Ai: “Uuu Yen… What should I do to get chosen more?”
Teo: “Maybe you could practice reading?”
Ai: “I didn’t ask you… but thanks anyways.”
Teo: “Sure thing. If you ever need help just ask me. You can usually find me in the library after school.”
Ai: “Kay.”
Yen: [He seems like a nice guy.] “Seems like you made a new friend huh Ai?”
Ai: “Yep. Now then. the next class is… the Magic 101 class in the large lecture hall next to the library.”
Yen: “Alright. Let’s go to it then.”
Ai picks Yen up and they walk to the next class.

Gameworld
Twenty years ago something had happened. The land and everything in it had changed. Magic was real and Technology was limited. New Races arose from the old and everyone was brought to an even playing field. Everyone starts at level 1 and levels up from there. Most folks will choose their class by level 5 and begin to grind out higher levels as they struggle to survive. Omachiw was different, half human and half elf he had been raised by the Elves he had once hunted. With no class and no family, he has become a jack of all trades, trying to survive in a world that had turned into a game. Based in part in the city of Regina in the Province of Saskatchewan Canada. This is a gritty urban fantasy story with horror elements set in a game world.

The world is in a state of turmoil and upheaval. The religious fanatics hailing from the desert city-state of Kenan have completed a war of conquest against their neighbors, the ancient kingdom of Forelia. Gideon is a skilled warrior fighting for the Singing Blades, a mercenary warband led by Gideon's father, who have been contracted by the Kenanite king to fight on his behalf. When the Singing Blades are annihilated on a patrol, Gideon is cast adrift to find new purpose in a world bereft of justice. But fate has taken notice of Gideon.
