Author's note: Hey. Here it is as promised.
Yen wakes up groggily and looks around. Laia is next to the bed looking worriedly at him.
Laia: “What happened Yen?”
Yen: “I don’t know. How did I get on the bed?”
Laia: “I came to see Ai but she was talking enthusiastically with her roommate in the cafeteria so I came directly to her room to wait for her and found you.”
Yen: “Did Ai see me?”
Laia: “No she is still down in the cafeteria.”
Yen: “Good.”
There is a lull in the conversation. Crickets can be heard chirping outside the window.
Laia: “Is this something due to your advancing age?”
Yen: “I am guessing that it is. I need to find a method to remedy this quickly.”
Yen Gets up and starts walking towards the door slowly.
Laia: “Where are you going?”
Yen: “I think the library might have something to help. I can’t think of any magics to remedy my problems but maybe someone else has.”
Laia: “Let me help you out.”
Laia picks Yen up and she starts quickly walking out.
Yen: “Thanks.”
On the way out they meet Ai and Frederica.
Ai: “Hi ma! Where are you going?”
Frederica: “Good evening teacher.”
Ai runs up to Laia and Yen and Frederica greets them.
Laia: “Oh Ai. Yen and I are going to the library. There is something that Yen wants to research. We’ll come back later to talk about how your first day went.”
Ai: “Mm? Okay then. See you guys later!”
Ai waves Laia and Yen off as they walk out the front door of the dormitory.
Laia: “Are you sure you want to keep this a secret from Ai?”

Yen: “Yeah. If all goes well and we find what we need, she won’t be affected at all.”
Laia and Yen walk along the path leading to the library, a building with an overhang supported by many stone pillars.
Yen and Laia enter the library and encounter a librarian.
Librarian: “Madam, the library will be closing soon.”
Laia: “I am a teacher. Let me through I have something I want to research.”
Laia hands over her teacher’s license and the librarian looks at it.
Librarian: “Okay. You may pass.”
The librarian waves them in and they enter the library.
The library is a large domed building with many floors and an open middle area with a skylight at the top. Innumerable shelves full of books line the walls and a create aisles in an orderly fashion.
Yen: “There is quite a number of books here huh?”
Laia: “Yep. Despite his perverted tendencies, Jinali is a bibliophile.”
Yen: “That so?”
Yen and Laia wander the aisles looking for the right books.
