I'm sure you've noticed it's been quiet in your head recently. Well, maybe Music's still with you, but I've been strangely silent, huh? When the system hit, it separated us. Well, we're still together, it's just that we're much less so than normal.

Oop, times almost up. Just know I'm currently investigating how it's keeping us separate and if there's anything like Randidly's aether.
Enjoy the Soul Resistance skill~
Soul Resistance lv1
Degritone snaps and points up before exclaiming, "Ah! So, that's what those lines on my soul are. Wondered where he's been. Maybe he can get his own body or something." He shrugs before continuing with finishing up his paths.
Dilettante 500/500
Congratulations! You have completed the Dilettante path!
Through many hours of hard work, you have finally reached the cusp of the real challenges.
This path will continue on for much, much longer before you're ready to truly face the world.
And while you may reach your destination if you continue on your way, you will not be ready.
You best prepare yourself for the future.
Test of Loyalty!
As this is your first Patron's Test, failure will simply result in the loss of your Patron.
The penalty for failure on future Patron's Tests will be determined by your Patron.
Degritone appeared in a garden, vibrant and strange flowers, trees, and a few odd bushes surrounding him, but what immediately took his attention was the little girl sitting at a round table. His features immediately softened as he takes in her tiny form, wrapped in a red T-shirt and black shorts, her short, almost flame-red hair, and her bright blue eyes.
Once his eyes finally wander to her feet, he notices that they're well worn. He tilts his head and asks, "No shoes? It hurts my heart that your feet apparently went unprotected long enough to get visible callouses, but if it was a choice, then," he shrugs and looks up at her face, "but if it was forced and you haven't dealt with the one who forced it..." His breathing switches from his belly to his chest and his face goes from soft to neutral as he starts to imagine slowly murdering a faceless humanoid.
But before he can get himself worked up, the little girl giggles and says, "Well, that is an interesting way to greet your Patron." She hops off her chair and begins looking through her flowers. "No, it was not forced. Well, not by people, but it was forced by circumstance. Grew up destitute and had no choice, but after I got powerful enough to do something about it, I found I didn't like shoes." She stops in front of a group of orange flowers with seven, clover leaf-like petals.

She picks one and the broken stem leaks some liquid that looks like fire, but acts like water, which quickly evaporates after it hits the ground. "This one should do." She holds it out to Degritone, whose soft features had long since returned, and he takes it.
"Hm?" He asks, tilting his head, but continuing to look at his Patron, his eyes unable to decide if they want to rest on her lips, nose, or cheeks.
"Loyalty is almost impossible to test in a reasonable amount of time. This test shall be considered a success, but your next test will be determined by that flower. Loyalty is earned, neither given nor taken. Given your Revitalizing Aura and Regeneration Gland, you seem to like health regeneration. That flower will drastically increase your health regeneration for each petal you consume. If any petals are missing by the time you come back, I expect to hear a good explanation." She finishes her speech by pointing at his face.
"I'm not going to disobey a direct order, but you're denying me power again? I won't ask for more power," he says before slightly leaning forward, putting his hand beside his mouth, and loudly whispering, "though it would always be nice," then continues on normally with, "but could you at least not actively remove power from me in the future like you did with Pupil?"
She then silently says, "Oh, yeah," without actually vocalizing, and lowers her arm before saying, "Also, you'll get the 36 free stats I took from default Pupil. And don't worry about denying you power. You can't - well, shouldn't, there are some people out there - be loyal to people who treat you badly. Anyway, I'll be seeing you around fifteen thousand total skill level. See ya then~~" She waves and he's back to the dungeon.
Patron's Test successfully completed!
36 free stats
One Perfect Vitalower
Initiate of Loyalty 0/1000
And a bonus because you weren't a jerk about it ;)
14 free stats
"Sad... I didn't even get to hug her. Or, at the very least, pat her head," he says, finishing with a slightly open jaw, slightly hanging head, and closed, but loose, lips. He sucks the air out of hi mouth and go raises his head. "Anyway, I still have 490 PP and no idea what to do with it. No paths to put it in because Initiate is locked until fifteen kay SLT, and no way amd I putting stuff into Node Breaker when I have the ability to see her again in just 2 levels and a bunch of grinding."
He wobbles his head back and forth while looking at his 187 new free stats. "H regen mult would probably give a bigger boost, but Vitality does now translate into percent total regen with Gland. Not by much, but it does. I should probably wait a bit before actually relying on that fact, but also maybe not, as it would increase mana regen to make rejuve last longer. Once it can become permanent, I can probably stop relying on Flash Space to heal up.
"Who am I kidding? It's optimal to use Flash Space to heal and no way am I not doing the optimal thing unless I'm facing something that can't deal damage fast enough to get past my regen." He pauses and lets his brain go on autopilot for a while to digest what he's been saying. "Oh, yeah, RCD also scales off Vitality. So, let's dump everything into Vitality for now. I will need to put more into h regen mult, but," he waves his hand in front of his face, "that can wait until I get close to 1k, which I assume is the next stat path cutoff."
He brings his Vitality up to 356. "Now, let's see... what skills I should train..."

Re:The Worst System Leveling Turned Me Into A Zombie
Before I reached Lvl. 100, they called me Death God Hei. But when I broke the limit, the System punished me. It cursed me to become this monster. I woke up as a Lvl. 0 again. Dying only brings me back to a save point now. But I don't go back until I die twice. First I suffer as a human, then I hunger as a zombie. The worst part is...I still have to watch when that thing takes over my corpse. I call it the Gray. I can't do anything even when it's hunting down those I'm trying to save. Sometimes, I wonder. When I level, I swear I can hear a voice speaking to me. This thing...can it think? It's like Re:zero crossed with SAO, Solo Leveling, and Tokyo Ghoul Re:The Worst System is a dark, 1st person timeloop story where the main character is slowly driven insane by his ability to respawn at a save point. However, each time he levels, there's a possibility that the next time he dies, the zombie inside him will become too powerful for anyone to stop. So he has to level up a harem...ahem, others, to fight for him against the System. Oftentimes, Hei will get trapped in repeating death loops which are truly terrifying. You've been warned...please don't read if you're not willing to see the darkness all the way through. The light on the other side may be a long ways away...I'll be trying to post on Thurs/Sundays, but honestly, depending on how I'm feeling, chapters could come out at some wonky times. Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.

Though, of all the guilds that dot Granis and its kingdoms, there is one that holds these legends as true. The Blue Star Guild seeks the truth to these stories and refuse to let anyone dissuade them, for in the words of their master: "The most foolish of tales, make for the greatest of adventures" Image supplied by Shutterstock

The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.

You have read stories, any kind of stories, The Uncommon and the Common, The Popular and The Unpopular, The Interesting and the Uninteresting, The Good and the Bad. Well If one would have to choose which one to write it will always be the first to be mentioned but what would unfold before you if you decide it - will be the latter! Because is nothing more extraordinary than telling what is ordinary! P.S. That's just the author rambling about something, something to draw some readers to read a Story that you wouldn't even want to read. Regarding the pace of how I pass new chapters.
