He looked at Regeneration's popup to see if there's anything new in Path popups after the change - well, revert.
Regeneration
Durability matters little if an enemy is able to wear you down over time.

Unlocks Energetic and Lively Paths
Slightly surprised at the existence of other Paths in the description, he brought up Energetic's description.
Energetic
You must have access to a Path to see its description.
Disappointed, he closed them, then hugged his Patron once more, who had started another cup by this point. "Just hit 76, so it's," his stomach growls, "time for me to go. I would like suggestions on Paths, if possible."
"I'm not going to tell you what to do, but Revitalizing Aura is from a Path that requires the Healing Path and a Path beyond Regeneration, the latter of which you were going to get, anyway. When was the last time you ate?"
"Uhhh..." He thought for a bit. "Some time before the dungeon, so over two months. I just need to get to the Endurance thresh hold for no food requirement again. Still 60?"
She nodded, saying, "Yep. You have food available where you going?"
He nodded, leaving out the fact he'd have to actually get out of a dungeon and through a hoard of level 7 goblins to get to food.

"One last thing, before you go," she said, turning so her legs fall off the side of his and her torso to face him. "Today has been fun. Thank you." She hugged him. "See you whenever. The longer you wait, the more power I can give you, if you need it, and I won't let you come for free the time after the next, either. Well, as free as these new Patron Paths will allow. Goodbye."
Degritone nodded, saying, "Mm."
A few seconds later, he found himself back in the dungeon and out of her embrace.
Test of Loyalty passed!
Despite passing the test, your Patron did not deem you fit for reward at this time.
Initiate of Loyalty 0/10
He sadly looked down and to his right. Not at anything in particular, just out of sadness at no longer having a loli in his arms, though not at the lack of rewards from being with her. He knew that would happen.
After many seconds, he sighed and went to the dungeon entrance, where a few Goblins had made it in. It was at this point that he realized that level 0 to level 7 was a much larger gap than it had been before the reset. Level 7s would have almost one thousand Skill levels available, while he only had 76. He sent a message to Beltag.
Degritone: Hey, are you available? I have a Skill that can summon you temporarily and I need backup. I got reset to zero with the system update, since we had been introduced during the tests and need help getting out of my location.
After a few seconds, he responded.
Beltag: Alright. You good for 20 seconds?
Degritone: Yeah. Message me when ready.
Exactly 20 seconds later, he got a message from Beltag, which he didn't even read as he activated Summon Ally for the first time ever. A very obvious golden glow erupted around him, notifying the goblins of his position. As they were lining up to shoot at him, Beltag appeared.

At his appearance, the goblins scattered, many heading back out of the dungeon. "I just need to get back home. Maybe 1200 feet or so north from the dungeon entrance, though I'll probably be safe if you can get me so much as across the road."
Beltag nodded and headed for the dungeon entrance, which was tiny in comparison to him, but he disappeared through it regardless of the physically impossible size difference. Degritone soon followed and, with Beltag's help, quickly made it across the road, Beltag crushing a few trees along his way.
"My parents would probably be mad if they saw that we'd destroyed a large portion of the woods, so you just stand guard on the road for a few seconds, maybe a minute. Thanks for your help. You can dismiss yourself if I forget to dismiss you when I get back. I'd like if you left the goblins alive, though, since they'll be relatively easy experience after- experience after my family all get our levels back, and shouldn't pose too big of a problem before we get our Skill levels back, since we have defenses and weapons in place."
Beltag sat down as he nodded. "No goblins will get past this road."
Degritone nodded and had an uneventful trip back home. Once he got up the hill past the creek, he dismissed Beltag and was soon after seen by his family members manning the wall. They shouted, "Don's back!"
His parents came running out to see him, his mother hugged him, and he told a generalized and shortened version of the story of what happened while he was gone.
After eating and making sure nothing happened while he was gone, he went to pick up his class once more. This time, instead of immediately being mentally taken to his soul, he's given a prompt.
Choose your class!
Knight
Blitzer
Slayer
Sorcerer
Wizard
Warlock
Support
Crafter
Handyman
Looking over the classes, he took a while to debate between Blitzer's Stamina, Strength, and Agility and Knight's Health and Health regeneration. The fact it's the only one to give a real boost to health regeneration is what made Knight win. Clicking it, he once more appeared inside his soul with Ted accompanying him.
"Hm. After the reset, I'd expected you to be healed of whatever damage was done to your soul. I guess not. Well, this time shouldn't be as painful, at least," Ted said.
As before, he received announcements about his soul being refined and watched as a construct of colored rings was made, but this time, the pain was only slightly worse than a bad headache.
Congratulations! You have obtained a class!
Deferred experience has already been applied.
Knight
Guard lv1
Defeat monsters to level up and become more powerful.
Quest received.
Defense of Grimey Gulch
Now that his cap's been increased, he decided it was time to finally spend his PP. It may not have actually mattered because of the cap now being a soft cap, but he didn't want to risk any experience being wasted. Regeneration gave 1 Vitality every 4th PP while Support gave 1 free stat every PP.
Congratulations! You have completed the Regeneration Path!
Rapid Cell Division lvX
3 Vitality
50 Health regeneration
10 Stamina regeneration
1 Mana regeneration
10 Health regeneration per level
5 Stamina regeneration per level
1 Mana regeneration per level
Congratulations! You have completed the Support path!
Pacifist lv1
60 flat Mana
10 flat Mana regeneration
"Well, Pacifist is useless as anything other than a PP generator. Anyway, let's," get to grinding, he finished in his mind, for some reason.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
