After leveling for a few days it was finally Thursday. Rin had achieved the coveted level 50! This unlocked many things, one being the ability to freely chat!
Tired, he decided to sleep. He awoke and went to school like usual but before he could leave the class he had just finished he was approached by his disgusting wrinkly and smelly teacher. He whispered in Rin's ear
"I know what you did.." Rin instantly
looked at his teacher and was shaking.
'Is he talking about the murder.. How does he know? What am I going to do? I'll never be able to live my life.. ill never be a sand god..'
Rin thought carefully and came to a conclusion.
"Fine, I killed John. So what? He was trying to take my sand. What's it matter to you? Lookin for trouble?" Rin said aggressively.
"God no, the whole school knows about that. Nobody cares, you're a nerd. Even if you finally did something cool you're not going to get attention like that. I was trying to talk about the important thing! You are now level 50 in Sand MMORPG." His teacher continued,
"Your social status in the real world is now a lot higher. Maybe you'll eventually catch up to me.. I'm say around level 4000. my Username hasn't been told to anyone.. but I am in the leaderboards." The disgusting teacher said with a gross sort of pride. He looked at Rin's eyes and slapped his cheeks then said
"I have advice for you. There's been police snooping around.. it seems he's a high level in the game as well. Ill take care of him if we can have a alliance.. you are sure to be a higher level than even I!"
Rin took all this in and slowly understood more and more. Less people cared about his actions because of his power in the game.. He needed this powerful backing he was about to get.

"Yes I understand teacher! With your backing and strong connections the government won't be able to touch me! I will share information about my character as well as what I know! I will trust you, you know I always loved your sand collection by the way.."
The teacher blushed and said
"Naughty you.. trying to see my secret sand collection. That's my own personal prize! You cant see that so easily.. At least take me out for dinner!" The teacher shouted.
Rin quickly ran away blushing and thinking about how delicate and rare the sand was. He had to go home right now and write fanfiction to the thought of it. Rin was a famous writer.

This entire story is basically just me, having seen a piece of art on Tumblr, rereading Gerard Way's The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys and getting an idea that may or may not be a good thing?Set in a futuristic world similar to the one in Killjoys, but a bit less cynical.
