《The Games That Bind Us》Chapter 65 - Chakra Gate

I look at the 2 monsters and I can only say one thing. "EVERYONE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" I shouted causing everyone to start to run away however it does not look like Blue Mist just let people escape them, the Copy Cat remained still however Kieran charged at us, full speed and his first target was the person at the front, aka me. I used Paper Clones to distract him and joined everyone else it running. however.
"Super....Burst" Kieran said causing the entire place to start shaking as the golden energy ball destroyed everything above him, he then activated the burst and charged at us, not me this time, he was heading towards Kate. He reached Kate before I could do anything and with one hit sent her flying, she hen lay on the ground unmoving. I ran over to her casting my strongest Healing Magic. safe to say a kick from Kieran is not something she could survive. Kate's heart had stopped beating. I then saw Kieran charge at Eron.
"Chakra Gate Over Burn" I said surrounding myself in red Chakra. no, it was not enough. I activated the second gate. I was surrounded in Orange Chakra. I then used Blink Step and kicked Kieran into meat paste before he could reach Eron. he then reformed like it was nothing and punched me in the gut. I was sent flying but I caught myself with Blink Step and he was already charging at everyone who was escaping. I activated the third gate. my Chakra became yellow. Kieran then switched targets and aimed for me. I could not keep up with his movements however using Blink Step gave me a chance.
"John" Nina said noticing I was not following them out, Kieran was still beating the crap out of me, but the other Blue Mist creature was now moving, Directly towards Nina. I activated my forth gate. I was surrounded in green Chakra, I then blocked the path of the Copy Cat Ice Golem, it shot multiple Ice Spikes through me but I hardly felt them, I was blocking them from reaching Nina. Nina looked at me worried and yet scared. I just kicked her onto a Paper Plane and made her leave. I was not holding these of for long, I charged at them, unleashing my fifth Chakra Gate and I was surrounded in dark blue Chakra unlike the normal light blue. I started to push back the monsters. I was dealing a lot of damage and..

"ARG!!!" I made a short scream in agony as my left arm broke from just throwing a punch. I was feeling a lot of pain however I had a new goal.
[Quest: Protect Your Friends]
[You need to hold of the Blue Mist long enough for everyone to escape or for help to arrive. 2 minuets remaining]
[Side Quest; Don't Die]
You know something, that side quest looks like a good idea right around now. and who could help me in a fight against monsters of this level? I just need to hold off for 2 more minuets.... that clock is not moving fast enough. I use my Chakra Orbs and send them away from me, I power them with as much Chakra as I can and send them over to Kate. I set them to healing mode. sure enough without them defending me my health bar is dropping like a stone but important things first.
"John?" Kate looks around as she gets up and notices me with multiple Ice Spikes in me and with Kieran's foot print imprinted on my right lung. safe to say I was not going to last much longer. Kate charged to help me. NO!!! I can respawn you cant, well... I may respawn but Michael said Chakra works separate from my ability?
"Kate, RUN" I said Blink Stepping in front of the Ice Spike about to kill Kate again. I fell to the ground, 1HP remaining. I look to Kate who is behind me. I look to Kieran who is about to punch her in the face. I laugh as I switch off is Super Burst with a Chakra Orb. he over used it. multipliers are not something you can use consistently to that extent. oh yea. I fall back on the ground unable to move. I feel my stat points leaving me and I feel my level of pain increase exponentially. I start to drift off to the void.

"FATHER" I heard someone shout and then I saw a blury figure in front of me, he was holding what looked to be a Dragon Blade and he has a dragons tail. all I could think was 'that's ma boy' as I drifted off, he had my blood in him so I left it to him.
Eron's Son's Point Of View
Father just fell unconscious behind me. why couldn't time travel get me here any sooner? ok saying it like that makes it sound stupid. I look at the monster of dads time and he had a copy cat next to him. this was supposed to be the place father died at since he died in Chakra Gate Overburn. but we need him alive for what is to come. I power up my blade and slash the 2 creatures into four separate pieces.
"Art Of Binding, Healing Seal" I said preventing them from recovering. now that ability I developed for this moment, I am not fighting two of Kieran. I know how screwed I am from the one in my time. I look back to my father who is lying on the ground. don't worry father, I will be back after I fix the Paradoxes. I slash to the ground and create a rift in time before jumping through it.
Verod's Point Of Veiw
What the hell did I just see? I jump down from the hole made by a super burst and then saw a half human half dragon jump through a hole in the ground that did not look normal. no time to complain, I dashed over to John and saw he was alive by a thread. I saw 2 Blue Mist creatures that no longer had any Blue Mist in them, revealing Kieran and a dead Ice Golem. I will have to consult with Conner about this. "John, you fool, why did you take them on alone?" I asked my unconscious student. I then smiled and threw him over my shoulder. "We should get out of here before the golem comes back, and I will be taking this monster with me" I said picking up the two separate parts of Kieran. what kind of monster does it rake to seal his immortality and remove blue mist at the same time? I jump out of the dungeon and start to catch up to the other group. I notice Kate was following me looking at John with a glare... what did she see down there?

Chapter 66 - Power Of A God

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

From the Final World
I have lived a long, long time. Longer than the universe knows; longer than any star has seen or traveling light records. My memories; that is all that is left that knows that length, and that which was seen within it. Then again, that is all that ever did. When I am gone, it will be forgotten, a truth and a history lost forever no matter who or what tries to find it. I think that is why I write this now. A record, or a lament, of the most significant being of all time. It is a prideful exaltation of endless triumph, or the dread condemnation of infinite evil. I don’t know which; I shall leave it for others to judge. I could explain further, of course. I could list the sins that have been committed, the deeds that have been done. Yet for now, I believe this is enough. Her story will speak for itself. About the good, and evil, in the heart of a single girl burdened with more than her fair share. And how she reacted to it. So, I will tell her story. Of gods and devils, mortals and monsters, of legends long forgotten and civilizations long turned to dust. And in the end, I hope she knows herself, whether it is salvation, or destruction, she should receive.
