“Ha~~ah! That sure is refreshing! You sure taste the same as ‘that idiot’.” Mao looks more energized than before. It’s as if a shining aura surrounds her.

‘That idiot’ would be referring to ‘the hero’ of the world that Mao comes from.

“Ugh… That was…” while Shou looked very worn out. Of course not just his expression, also his clothes looks messed up now. And of course the atmosphere around him also felt heavy, as if darkness glooms around him now, the very opposite of Mao.

“I made sure that I did it gently. It was quiet pleasant for you too, right?” Mao sneering at Shou seductively.

“… Well…” Shou avert his eyes, feeling embarrassed. ‘I can’t say anything! It wasn’t that unpleasant because she is my favorite heroine from that game! But there’s no way I can say it!’

Well, I guess you guys know what happened. She is Demon Lord from an Eroge after all. She sucks some ‘energy’ from Shou to refill her power.

‘I could feel the sensation properly. I guess this is no dream huh?’ thinking that Shou realized that this is reality, no matter how strong he want to doubt it.

‘Damn, that was great.’ Remembering his experience with Mao just now, his expression suddenly changed into a satisfied pleasant one.

“And so? There still some that I would like to ask you. Who are you actually?”

The sudden question from Mao broke the expression from Shou’s face.

“Ah right, sorry for the late introduction, I’m Yoshitaka Shou. I’m just some normal human… I think. Somehow I also got caught up in this incident as you can see.”

“I see, well I’m Mao, a demon lord. There’s no need to introduce myself to you since you seems to know who I am, right.”

“Um… well pretty much (I read the manual and character profile after all). You’re from the race, a race that aren’t really different from human except for the magic affinity far above the human even human mages. You’re the type of . Recently become the . Your height is around 170cm… no, wait was it 168cm? And your three sizes is--”

“WHY DO YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT ME?!”

Mao screams, cuts in Shou’s recollection about Mao’s profile.

“Eh well…” Lost for words, Shou can’t reply to Mao’s question.

“Are you a stalker?! How could you know so much about me?! Now that I think about it, why do I found you closely when I woke up earlier? So that wasn’t a coincidence but you’re a staker?! HIII~~! STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU STALKER!!!” Mao began to act desperately, trying to avoid Shou.

“NO! Wait, let me explain!” Shou chase after Mao who tries to run away.

“I don’t want to hear anything and I’m not going to hear anything~!”

“So? Now what should we do?” Mao inquired.

After Shou cleared the misunderstanding both of them are taking a rest at abandoned rest area.

Shou explained that he is from another world different from Mao and about the info that he has, he said that she is famous (somewhat) in his world. After hearing that her name is famous even to another world, Mao becomes a little bit big-headed for a while.

‘Well… I didn’t lie to her…’

“I was thinking of going to a base close to here.” Shou looks around, trying to determine their location.

“A base? You seem to know about this place huh?”

“Well, kind of. Can you please lend me your help? We might meet another of those ‘zombie’ in our way. I promise I will search for a way to help you get back to your world.”

“Sure, but don’t you forget what you need to do if I’m out of magic because fending of those zombies. This place lack magical power after all.”

“… Ahaha…” Shou gives a wry smile in respond.

“If you don’t like it, then here. At least guard yourself a little.”

Mao lends him some kind of sword decorated in glamorous manner. Its handle is coated with gold, the guard is the same with some gems on it while the pommel has a big gem in the center.

“Eh!? This is!” Shou looks surprised seeing the sword that she lends.

“Yes, ‘his’ sword.”

“WHY THE HELL DID IT BECOME LIKE THIS!?”

Shou shouted out his complain as he is being chased by horde of zombies.

“I do wonder why~.”

“It’s clearly your fault right!?”

“What!? How dare you blame me, the Demon Lord, you idiotic person!”

“Excuse me? Who the hell use such a loud explosive spell even though I said we need to stay quiet?”

“H-how should I know who it was!?”

“Hello, it’s clear as a cloudless sky that it was you!”

“I-I got it alright! It’s my fault! Geez, even though you’re just a useless person.”

“Ah, on that note, can you not call me that?”

“Then I’ll just call you Shou.”

“My name right away!? Shouldn’t you try to call me by my family name first!? Ah whatever. We’re almost there. Help me to hold them off!”

“Sure, sure. Just give me some energy later okay, I was tired because of that explosion spell.”

“If that spell take up a lot of energy then don’t waste it! Moreover, that spell only make things worse doesn’t it!?”

“S-shut your complain for later! You got any problem!?”

“Your ‘tsundere’ line isn’t needed right now!”

“Who the hell is ‘tsundere’! No chance in hell that I’ll go ‘dere’ for a guy like you!”

“You have! I’m certain that you have been at least once become ‘dere’ with ‘him’! After all I have cleared your route before!”

“S-shut up! I don’t understand what you’re saying but it feels like being mocked, so shut up! Or I’ll teleport you to the abyss with !”

“There! That’s the line that proves that I’m right! I know your personality! If you say something like that, that means I’m right and you can’t deny it.”

“Y-You got any problem! I-I’ll freeze you with !”

“If you really want to show off your skill, don’t show it off with those ‘tsundere’ lines! Use it on those zombies!” ‘Though, those tsundere lines are one of the factors that I like her…’

“I-I know it already! You’re so noisy!” After some idiotic quarreling between Mao and Shou, Mao starts chanting up some spell. “… Fell into emptiness! HOLE OF ABYSS!” After she finish her chant, below the zombies appeared a big hole on the ground. The zombies who chased them fell down into that hole and disappeared into it.

“Hah… that was… really tiring…” Mao sits down, letting her back resting against a wall.

Both of them already out of breath, running all around the place from those zombies.

“Most of it… was… because of… arguing with you…”

Well… Shou got tired mostly from arguing with Mao it seems.

“For now I can’t… voice out my… complain… Make sure you… give me much… energy later… okay…”

“Whatever… I don’t care anymore… just don’t… waste magic power… like that again…”

Both of them take a rest and sit down involuntarily because of the tiredness.

“So? Where is the place you were talking about? Is it close by now?”

“It’s there.” Shou point to a metallic door Mao resting agints. On the door ‘Bunker 0105’ is written.

“What’s this?”

Mao who doesn’t know about anything about this world of course doesn’t know about the human sheltering here. This bunker was build to defend and shelter humans and soldier against the alien that attacked earth. There’s some residential area down there, and of course army base as well. Usually soldier doesn’t live in the residential area but in some rented room or some barrack.

“It’s some kind of sheltering for human. I’m just guessing but, there might be people inside.”

“People? Not those ‘zombies’?”

“That’s also a possibility.”

Both of them carefully go inside of the bunker. Shou suddenly remember something.

“That’s right… How come we haven’t even seen a single alien enemy?”

“Huh? What are you talking about?”

“This world… in this world, the human shouldn’t be facing zombies. They should have been facing some kind of aliens.”

“And? What do you want to say?”

“The fact that we haven’t seen any aliens and how the zombies are here, maybe just like those zombies, the aliens are thrown into another world.”

“And what do you expect me to do?”

“This is just another possibility but… maybe the human are also thrown into another world.”

“… So you mean we might be the only one here?”

“I’m not sure. But, we will know it in this bunker.”

After walking a while, Shou and Mao encountered someone.

“Careful.”

“I know it already okay.”

Shou readying his sword. As he tries to call the guy… “Who are you!?” The guy suddenly turned around and pointed his gun to Shou.

“Yikes! Calm down! We’re human! Well, this girl is not really human but… She is my friend.”

“Oh, is that so? You both dressed weirdly huh? Just like some of those zombies.” The guys already lowered his gun.

‘Well… they have setting from my era after all…’ “S-so, in this bunker… any survivor?”

“Most of the survivor are here, come.”

Shou and Mao followed the guy.

“And so… who are you?”

“Ah, I’m Yoshitaka Shou. And this girl here is Mao.”

“Yoshitaka Shou..? Mao..? Are you easterner? Your name sounds oriental.”

“Ah yeah, yes I am.”

“Oi Shou, what does this guy talking about?”

“Ah right, your world doesn’t have this kind of concept. Umm you see, my world and his world have similar concept, which is western side and eastern side. Well now there’s nothing really that significant about western and eastern.”

“Ah yeah, the name is Raul, Raul Blaze.”

“Raul… Blaze..?” Shou felt as if he know that name, no he IS familiar with the name. “Ah! The main character!”

This guy, Raul Blaze, is the character the player control in the game. As this game is a FPS game, of course the player can’t see Blaze’s face.

“Huh? Main character? What are you talking about?” Blaze confused hearing Shou’s word.

‘So this is his appearance huh? I never knew because this game is a FPS game. But… how to say… Plain… this guy is totally plain. Just like a mob character! If I don’t concentrate on him, he looks just like a shadow!!’ “Ah it’s nothing. Please don’t mind me.”

After a while, they arrived into the center of the bunker. There, Shou meets the commander. He is standing dignified in front of other people. Right behind him, there’s a monitor. It displays reports and other things.

“Who’re those?” The commander asked Blaze.

“Another survivor, I found him going inside the bunker.”

“Oh? Seems like you know something here young man?”

The commander got interested in Shou. After all, even if this place is a sheltering for humans, this one bunker is one exception, only important people such as politicians or President or VIP class know about this bunker. And of course almost all of the soldier here is also a capable person.

“I… I would like to ask something.”

“State your question. I shall answer it with what I know.”

“If I was right, shouldn’t we be under invasion of aliens? What are those ‘zombies’ outside?”

“Good question. It was all started some time ago. The aliens gone, but some of those undead appeared out of nowhere, attacking our men and making them their own.”

“… As I thought…” Shou takes a pose just like the people in detective story while thinking about something.

“Hmm, I knew it. You have a clue on this aren’t you, young man?”

“I would like to say that I have but, I’m not sure at first. But now I have strong evidence” Shou shows serious expression. “This guy, aren’t from this world.”

“Oh. State your meaning young lad.”

“To be clear, those guys shouldn’t have been here, they come from another world. Just like me and this girl. I don’t know the exact reason but, we are thrown into your world. Just like those guys and us, the aliens that should have been here might be also thrown into another world. I don’t know which world it may be thrown into, but there is a possibility that the world they’re thrown into don’t have any means to protect themselves from those aliens.”

“… Such a fantasy story that seems like from a game…”

‘Well… you guys are inside a game.’ “Ahahaha.” Shou smiled wryly.

“But it seems like those are the truth. So, do you know how to make it back?”

“Even if you ask me how--” ‘to restore it yourself’ ‘Ah… does this is what that message mean? But how?’

“Commander, report. The investigation team has found some foreign object at point ‘B075’.”

“Understood. Tomorrow we will dispatch expedition team there.”

‘Eh? Point ‘B075’? In the game it should be… ‘The Empty Land’!? But the walkthrough said there is totally nothing there but just empty land. It might be just another content of the game but…’ “Can I go along tomorrow!?”

“Huh? Well I don’t mind. Does it have something to do with the current condition?”

‘Good! Now I just need to find out what is there.’ “It might.” Shou shown a determined expression.

“Heh, it might be dangerous journey you know.”

“I don’t mind.”

Seeing Shou’s unshakeable determination, the Commander smiled a little

“Oh, I like your guts. Here, some presents from me to protect yourself.”

The man gives Shou something with the shape of handgun.

“This is…” ‘This is the starter weapon of this game, isn’t it? Energy Gun. It has a good deal of power and doesn’t need ammunition because it has a self recharge system. Moreover it can be upgraded.’ “Thanks!”

“Ah I almost forgot, also here.” The commander gives something to Shou again. It is some kind of belt.

“Eh are you sure!?” ‘This is also starter equipment but quiet hard to achieve. It is called Equipment Belt. It primarily used as weapon holder. Somehow it can make any item classified as weapon to stick to this belt and you won’t feel any weight from it. It is quiet useful for bringing more weapon.’

“Whoa, how nice. I acquired it by struggling through swarm of aliens with just shitty equipment.”

“Ahaha…” ‘Yeah I know, it was a crazy quest for beginner…’

“Well for now, you can take a rest. Tomorrow we will begin the expedition. Private, show them to their room.”

“Ah yeah, could you give us the same room?” Mao interrupted the commander.

“Eh!? W-why?” Shou startled because of Mao request.

“Idiot, do you forget your duty?”

“… Ah right… But why do you want the same room?”

“It’s easier right?” Mao looking at Shou suggestively.

“… Please spare me…”

note:I won't be updating very often as I need to reorganize the long chapter I've made into smaller parts but I'll try to update as often as I can. Maybe once every one or two week. or maybe if i can, I could update twice or thrice in a week.
