As I think that a snow white rabbit with a spiral unicorn horn walks out of a bush and glares at me, it looks adorable but not what I should be focused on right now, I pull out my knife, from my pocket, and half-crouch. I use the one skill we were all given

It leaps at me and i sidestep. i wasn't expecting the speed at witch it could jump at, so it cuts me on my arm, but it is just a scratch not even enough to draw blood though it stings like a bitch. It prepares to leap again, but this time it's prepared, i sidestep a bit more this time, and slash at it. A large gash appears on its side. The cut was deep enough for organs to start to spill out, it was whimpering in pain, not even enough energy to cry out, and then it was dead.

Sweet!, arm still hurts though. I think I'll check that out after I skin the rabbit. I grab into my backpack and find the paper on skinning. Following the instructions, I cut off the fur and skin from the meat, the meat was spoiled by the guts, so I only take the fur wiping it on the bushes and grass to get as much of the blood off as possible, before folding it so the small amount of blood stubbornly stuck to it wouldn’t leak onto my other stuff. I put the folded pelt on top of my backpack trying to ignore how tattered it looked as another prompt shows up

The def stat seems to reduce damage. And the recovery skill increases my hp regen, so I probably won’t die at least, right?

I was wondering for a place to check my stats, so I didn’t look around carefully before. I look around carefully, I see the trees with dark brown bark, the bushes so full of green… the blood that I smeared on the ground and bushes from earlier… I better leave before something smells this blood.

So I start walking away, and about ten minutes I start to think I'm safe… for now. I grab some jerky and water from my bag and eat/drink it. After finishing my snack, and realized I never checked my skill list

Other than being more divers than i thought it was within my expectations. And with skinning i had finished all my skills, time to get some more skills! First herbology. Why herbology? Well mainly because of the new info i just got. If i can gain the ability to identify hides from the skinning skill, i can identify herbs with the herbology skill, and with that i could get food from nature. So i grab my knife wipe off the blood from the blade, that i forgot to wipe off earlier, then i go to a nearby plant, if i had to describe how it looks like, it looks like a stereotypical plant. A small green stem, with a few leaves growing from it. So i start digging with my knife, while trying to get the roots up too, because in light novels, thoughts always seem important. Turns out picking plants is harder than i thought. I did get some roots out, but most got destroyed, or shredded in the process. But i got no new skill. This doesn’t make sense, i got skinning after one try, so why not herbology? Because i did a bad job? Probably right.

And so I start digging, plants, and flowers. And after what was about thirty times.

The bag is full and I have nothing to carry it in… the rabbit!. t‘s pelt. I can sew it into a small bag to put them in! First things first, i need a needle, but how could i get one? Stone! I can sharpen one from stone!

I first find a small stone about the size of a finger and find a second one. I start scraping one on one to make a needle. It was too hard, the stone I mean. So next best thing, bark. I take a piece of bark and after fiddling for a while getting one message

This was… unexpected. Not that I don’t appreciate, in this world info is powerful so the more identifies I get the better.

Formed by a beginner carver, this disgrace can barely be called a needle at all, it is recommended that you choose some other tool to use for sewing.

Wow, my needle was so bad that the system recommended against it? Harsh But accurate. So getting my ‘crude’ needle I was about to sew when I realized somethings. I need some string, and the hide hasn’t dried, it still is wet from blood!

So first things first I grab the folded hide, and sprawl it out on the ground, the inside facing up, hoping to sun dry it at least a little. Now for string, maybe one of these plants have some useable fibers? I cut some open, but I know nothing about this shit. Well, time for plan B.

If you've read ‘Master of all, jack of none’ you probably have seen how he made a coin pouch. I think I can do the same. After looking around I found a rock about the right size. Originally I couldn’t find one, but after realizing that it didn’t need to be perfectly round, I found a rock that was an oval-ish shape.

At this time it was starting to get dark, so now to think, how to sleep while not getting eaten in my sleep. Oh! What do you know! a platform is in that tree! That looks the perfect place to sleep! If it really existed. So i walk around for a bit, while keeping the drying rabbit pelt in sight, until i find a relatively large branch nearby. And this is where the rope starts to become useful. Ever seen in the movie where the main character ties themselves to a branch? Well let me tell you, it works, but surprisingly, it wasn’t very comfy. But it was at this moment that all the exhaustion from the day started to catch up with me, and after a hour or two, i fell asleep, but not before checking the time on my watch. 11:20 PM.
