CHAPTER 11 – Luca Library

City of Luka, it is one big city in Wuin Kingdom and center of trading route in southern province.

This place always full of vigor and energy for his people because of that one never see this city ever sleep. In northern part of the city one can find a big building one known as Luca Library.

In Luca Library someone can spot a human youth and white fox girl who read a lot of books at one of the table in the library, everyone who come to library must be glance on them once or twice, if we want to know how they end up in this state then first we must go back to time where it all began.

Two days ago, after see how Olivia cry without holding back Ray waith for her to calm down and regain her composure before take her with him to his nex destination Luca City Library.

“do you know how to read Olivia” when they on their way to library in north side of city ray ask question to her after they ride guts.

“I do” she reply, it seems her voice much more clear than before

“good then because we will stay in there for some time”

“for what… master?” Olivia carefully ask

“I think because I don’t really know anything about world... hahaha”

“it.. it seems like master a hermit or something”

“perfect deducation and actually I am” he smile when he face Olivia

“eh.. eh….” Now she surprise by what ray said himself

“hahaha did you belive what said Olivia”

“…actually yes..”

“aw.. the great me wont ever want to become a hermit, that super old gezeer only know how to breath in all his live… booring…”

Then Ray talk one sidely and tell his tale to Olivia about how he meet a real hermit in no man land, he also tell how the hemit have so much power but all he do in his whole live just continue his meditation and try become the nature himself.

Some times later they then arrive infront of Luca Library, as one of the biggest library in the area there some procedure one must undergo before they can enter the building. one must show their adventure licence or library card.

and because its kingdom property, not all people can just enter whatever they wish, but for Adventure they can gain access to every Library in every City after they reach certain rank ©, and althought there is a limit of what section Rank C adventure can access but its more than enough for Ray right now, after shown his yellow ring the library guard let him enter the building.

For Olivia as she is not and adventure, She must make a new Library card which Ray pay 1 gold coin on it,

“it is alright master?” after they enter Olivia ask ray why must he spent one gold coin just to take her in,even if he had a lot of gold there is no need to take a slave into library.

“no probem just one gold is not really matter if we can be allow to enter, oh Olivia one more thing”

“yes”

“from now on use young master oke, I think if you call me master there will be misudestanding even if there is not”

“good girl Olivia” ray then stop and gently stroke her head

“how old are you … I don’t mean to disrespect …” Olivia mutter her word very slowly

“hoo… can yo guest it” ray then stop his hand from Olivia head

“hum…. 15?”

“wrong..

“then 19?”

“stil wrong guess”

“sorry I cant say anymore…

“hahaha it is ok… I think if im not wrong im 17 years old when I register to become an adventure weeks ago

“muu… just like me then…

“so are you 17 to Olivia?

“huhuhu and you actually much more higher than me with those cute ear you now …

Luca library had six floor in its building, just like adventure guild there three floor above the ground but in this building there more 3 floor under the ground, each floor had 12 section, where the first three floor can be access for normal people and adventure, the last three undergound floor can only be access by neither librarian, kingdom official, noble, magic association member, and lastly if one had a letter of recomendation from those four.

Not really much people came to library except a suspicious character just like ray himself, and because it still early in the moning the library almost empty itself so they had a seat in one of corner of building In second section of history & culture.

The first book ray got himself is a thick book with title ‘World History And Its Secret By Sthan’ and he also take a small book with title ‘Heroes of Demon War’ before begin to read in his seat,

“pick anyting to read Olivia because its boring if you just waiting for me right” ray said to Olivia before he begin to read the first book, and because she begin to act like ‘a real maid’ even ray stunned a second there.

‘it is a handwriting of some famous historian it seems…let see’

‘[this is not a fix history of our world but i try to tell all I have investigate and search for all years just to complete this book ….. we all know that father of all god create this world and all its living, they first create dragon race.. blab la… they create a demonic race … blabla bla… they first create trools but because its defect product then the god of night create giant a superior being but stil idiot then they finaly perfect it by create a titans …. Bla blab la…. And lastly they create human.

The first record of human civilization is the old god kingdom, they said its paradaise and hell kingdom where the ruler become a god himself because their high authority, ….

Then a long some description how the heroes Dalmatian Alsvare who ignite a rebellion across the land with the help of many race they said he is a true heroes at that time and founder of the great kingdom Alsvare.

Then after peace come to the land the dark age come, where monster in never ending wave rampage in human territories, in this time adventure guild first establish so people began to become an adventure’

‘so in the end discrimination and labeling as monster is man work then’ ray said after read the first part of world history, in his time after conquer the world he share the land with its people, give them wisdom, knowlage, streght, and lastly Rule so one can live with other and war wil not happen but it seems after a long time power make someone who hold it corrupt and cant look from good eye,

‘after the world already been explore and the monster almost demish becase continue of hunt from all race, war then take place in the land and the war that soo long even the people at that time don’t think why they fight with themselves…

From out of nowhere a true demon race come to the land, Death Lord Aurn command hundred of thousand dead army and march their legion of undead to every kingdom, record said he have 4 death general who even equal power to a great dragon.. this war come close ten years after the dead man appear and only 3 out of 10 man alive in that times…

There many story about rebuilding kingdom of human and other race after war …..

Then a thousand years ago war between demon and human broke in big scale,…

King of demon and all their noble race invade because unfair threatment for their race, they brand them evil race because their superiority then the king of demon proclaim

‘If we are evil so be it.. we will become a dark light to the world and the one who said he is good is our enemy… we are asmodian… not headless dead creature one ever claim’

The holy empire of Sol then confront the demon army for their holy crusade, but after 5 years the holy crusade agains the demon become so large that involve all humanity…

They began the first summoning heroes ritual and call the brave men from another world for … 3 times but only the last heroes finish the long war with the help of elven, Dwarf & beastman race..

The world once again regain peace even if asmodian not lose the war but after sign of casefire treaty between the alliance and asmodian hey can rebuil their nations after long war …

hundred years ago the great shan empire make delaration of war to wuinkingdom, one million of beastman warior invade wuin territories, the hero Ash Marvin command his 10000 men sucsesfully reple 400.000 strong beastman warior before the remulus kingdom came to aid.

Then much more story about war and war between the two country.

‘war ever end huh..’

Then ray see his second book which title is ‘Heroes of Demon War’

‘yeah just to make sure about something I shall read it..’

‘it is a tale when the war between human and asmodian at its peak, the holy sol empire summon world strongest man from another world, even if the ritual it self not so impressive but the one they call really a heroes…

The first call they success in call 3 heroes and the heroes name is Richard Gress , Vin Victoria , and lastly Arnold Seed

They accept their call and perform their duty with great performance, but in the end they being killed by Vice Lord Aramin the noble of night…

The second call they success in call twin heroes Jack Silver and Camus Silver but their impressive feat can only last just a month because in the next month they got ambush by 5.000 strong auger tribe…

The third summoning ritual they call 4 heroes, Yu Kusuma , Rex , Sofia Aerith , and Gil

In this stage the heroes so confident they can destroy the evil being with their weapon but one of them don’t really like the theme of demon hunting, his name is Yu Kusuma.

This heroes wannabe just become a drifter in the land left his three companion to do the war without him,

But after he witness the dread of asmodian army and after face the dead of sofia he swear to finish this long war, he then go to each respectable race to seek their help, even the king of man ask for the help they wont interfer with their war because they are the one who start it…

After three of his companion killed in battle Yu Kusuma then rally alliance army to battle with asmodian, in great plain of Icarus the two heroes clash with the win of Yu Kusuma, then the war end with the agreement of both side.

‘its still early just after read this two, and it seem Olivia read with such intensity’ after read two book that seems only take two hour time he will just read some more before taking a break, and even if one need a restroom they can go into the one that library had,

‘even the restroom in this age really advance’ the first time ray use a toilet after he come to the city he take more than a hour in front of wastafel and flush toilet so he can really use it really well…

After three hours of reading a lot of book finally ray and Olivia go to nearby restaurant to take a lunch before they continue reading more books..

“so do you find something interesting Olivia?”

“…. Yes..”

“why do you much more slower just to give a short answer.. or do you find it boring?” ray ask..

“actually yes youngmaster its really boring..”

“ahhh you hurt my heart there.. hahaha”

“…”

“Okay then eat heartily after this I want go to some place before continue our study in ibrary, khuhuhu now I have much more gold in my possession I think I will try to seek a good item before continue our traveling..”

After finish their meal they then go to big store where ray spent 1000 gold coin for food ingredient, the amount so much that if you don’t take it with magical bag then yo must carry a small 60m mountain of flour,grain,bean&nuts,fish,rice and many more ordinary stuff one ever think …

Before they continue ray take Olivia to orphanage where he play with ash for an hour, he also donate 50 piece of gold 10 stone of rice and some more food stuff to orphanage.

“right lets continue our adventure in library once again Olivia”

so the daily live of ray in library continue
