《SOUL LAND: DOULUO DALU THE GAME》CHAPTER 2

「 At this very moment, Tang San thought to himself, everything was already unimportant. Violating the sect regulations was also fine, matters of life and death were fine. Apparently, everything would come to an end with these three blooming Tang Lotuses before him. Buddha Fury Tang Lotus, the world’s most potent hidden weapon was born in his hands. In his entire life, what could make the hidden weapons enthusiast Tang San more excited than this?
With twenty years of effort, he had at last accomplished this penultimate work of the outer court; that kind of satisfactory accomplishment couldn’t be described in words. Being an outer court member he accomplished what even the elders of the inner court wouldn't have imagined - Buddha Fury Tang Lotus, the hidden weapon which hadn't seen on this world for the past 200 years.
“I know, the crime of sneaking into the inner sect and stealing secret sect lore cannot be forgiven, cannot be tolerated according to sect rules. But Tang San can vow to Heaven, not a bit of the stolen knowledge of the secret books will reach the outside world. I say this, not in the hopes of obtaining the elders’ mercy, but only to let the elders know that Tang San has never forgotten his roots. Never has in the past, and also henceforth never will.”
Tang San’s mood was very calm at this moment; perhaps, this was the calmest moment in his life. Looking at that expansive ancient Tang Sect compound halfway up the mountain, feeling the atmosphere of the Tang Sect, Tang San’s eyes moistened. For as long as he could remember, it could even be said he was born for the sake of the Tang Sect, but right now, he also had to leave the Tang Sect for the sake of his lifelong pursuit. 」

Navigate to the Hell’s Peak
A trail made up of golden glitter at the back of the avatar showed the way while the pointer was only 5 to 6 steps back, perhaps where the next cutscene would be. I felt pity that Tang san was giving up on 3 Buddha Fury Tang Lotus.
If I were given the choice, I would definitely either destroy these lotuses in their face to make Tang Sect regret not taking me as an inner discipline and making them feel helpless as their best creation which even the inner court elders were not able to create was destroyed. Or use the so called best hidden weapon to kill the elders. Not only would that thoroughly humiliate them, as their best weapon was only used on them, the sect which has nver been surpassed will forever remember my name! But, Tang San was devoted to Tang Sect, he wouldn't do it. At least he could have used the hidden weapon as a wager for his life. Alas, our main character is just too pure, in his eyes his death is lower than a single sentence of the clan rule.
But the Tang Sect elders are equally retarded. Aren't they atleast 50 years old? It seems that as they grow older, thier IQ grows in negative direction. As the Sect Head, if someone is able to make a legendary hidden weapon, why would I hesitate to give him the blueprint? Instead I would try to poach him. Much less someone, who is so devoted to my sect. I'll try to mass produce it! Not try my best to kill him! Am I being forced to kill him because of the clan rules? No! Rules are meant to be controlled. Even if it meant killing the whole inner sect, it's ok. Why? Because of the excuse - "greater good of the sect" or use of the word "contribution or sacrifice". Also if I'm gonna do something like a genocide or massacre, I'll probably glorify it so that the later generations will be grateful for the sacrifice of the previous generation. In the end, I would get an independent powerful weapon. History is written by the victor. Even though deep inside it was pure murder, it will be seen as a glorified sacrifice.

It's all about perspective, how you view things. If you change your perspective everything can be changed. If you want benefits, you need to make others understand your perspective and make them believe that what you are doing is logical and right. Making use of words, we can manipulate people. Words are things which are ever changing, differently interpreted, has different meaning and are used differently.
At the end, what matters is you and your goals. If you want something, find the most suitable method and get it. If there are people in your way, and if you are morally obstructed, as long you change people's point of view you can take any action even if it's immoral. As long as you get what you want, the sacrifices along the way are worth it. Is this selfishness? It is. But , as I said, putting it from another perspective, its - self love.
As, my avatar moved towards the Hell’s Peak, an option appeared.
