《The Lazy Young Master》Chapter 40: Silver Skull Insignia

Number Four faced failures upon failures. Finally after three weeks, he was able to make the tokens that Number Two requested.
Number Two was really surprised by the "Tokens" that Number Four has made. It can project the data of the token's owner, along with information about his Credit points. The disciples can browse through the missions and accept them through the tokens, they can even communicate with other members possessing the tokens. It was almost comparable to any modern communication devices.
The reason Number Two wanted to make tokens that work on spiritual energy, instead of modern technology gadgets is because of the incident Tian faced during his training in Huang Forest.
An assassin used a jammer and cut off all signals for Tian to communicate to the base. Which made him go through the life threatening dangers. He didn't want such incidents to occur in the Rising Chaos sect.
No matter where a member of Rising Chaos sect was, he can communicate with others using the token. No jammers will stop it from reaching the sect. This is the ideal Communication device in Number Two's mind.
It took time for everyone to get used to the tokens, as it was an order from Second Elder, everyone started to use them everywhere possible. Eventually they got used to it.
The Rising Chaos sect accepted anyone with cultivation potential. Many people got attracted under the lure of precious resources, training rooms that can boost cultivation speed and the break through potions provided by the Rising Chaos sect. Even other small and medium sized clans started sending their members to join Rising Chaos sect.
Number Two knew that not everyone wanted to join Rising Chaos sect with good intentions. There were many spies from other clans and various powers. Number Two kept an eye on every one of them. His intensive network kept tabs on their every move. It was not yet the time to pull these weed out, so he kept the secrets of the sect far away from those spies.

Number Four continued with his experiments. Whenever a disciple passes by Number Four's room, they can hear weird noises and even sound of blasts that scared the hell out of them. Every single item that Number Four made other than the tokens was a failure. All the things he made turned into bizarre items and he kept throwing all the failed items into a corner.
Right now, only Number Five was teaching the disciples about battle techniques. The decision of Number Two was to teach core techniques like Alchemy, Inscriptions and Mechanisms to only those who become inner disciples. Right now there were no inner disciples in the Rising Chaos sect.
With the rise in number of disciples, the burden on Number Six increased even more. He had to make potions for all the members. So he decided to take in personal disciples. Number Two agreed that it was time to take in disciples into inner sect.
Number Six knew the characters of many of the disciples, with Number Two filtering out the spies, he conducted a test for those having talent in potion refining. Out of the 400 odd outer sect disciples, only 20 passed the test.
After further checking their backgrounds and choosing those with most potential, they ended up with 7 disciples, whom Number Six took under his wing.
Number Three also conducted tests and ended up with 12 disciples under his care. As Number Four was busy with his experiments, he rejected to take in any disciples right now.
Soon the 19 disciples were announced as Inner sect disciples. The chambers provided for these disciples were powered with spirit gathering formations, of course their effects were less than that of training chambers but they can cultivate in their chambers for any amount of time they want. They were required to buy the spirit particles required to power the formation by themselves, they can even exchange their credit points for it.

As the Rising Chaos sect grew in power, the other clans in Huang city started to pry its secrets. Many herb stores were losing its customers to the Rising Chaos sect's herb stores. The people from Cheng Clan herb stores wanted to make a move on them, but were stopped when they heard that they were backed by the Manager Zhou.
When Tian reached the sect after a month he was completely stunned. No matter how many times he thought he wouldn't be surprised by these guy's moves, he always ended up getting dumbfounded.
When he found that Number Five has already broke through to Energy Advancement realm and all others being in 6th Layer of Blood refinement realm, he was utterly smashed.
'What the f***! Am I the one who transmigrated or them?!! If this goes on, they might become Earth realm cultivators, while I'll still be sitting in Energy Advancement realm', Tian was crying in his heart. He felt it was unfair.
If Tian learns that even Zhang Tie has reached Energy Refinement realm, he might even die from shock.
For the first time, Tian felt he was truly being lazy. He decided that he had to break through into Earth Realm soon or else he might regret it.
Tian asked Number Three to arrange materials that he required and send them to his chamber. After a few moments Number Three delivered all the materials that Tian wanted.
Tian started another round of refining potions and creating items for his next trip. He wanted to go to Huang Forest and hunt for Earth Realm beast core. With it, he will be able to create Six Revolutions pill and use it to break through into Earth realm.
After an entire night, Tian came out of his chambers. He informed the six brothers that he would be leaving for Huang Forest. They insisted on going along with him, but were rejected. Number Two gave Tian a specially made token. Tian was surprised by the ingenuity of these guys to make such a spiritual tool.
Tian took off to the Huang forest, while Little White stealthily followed behind him. When Tian took notice of it, he threw a stone at Little White's head, "You idiot! Why are you following me into the forest? Just go back home, this is a very dangerous trip!", Tian wanted Little White to go back. He didn't know what kind of dangers he would face in the forest, it would be best to leave Little White for its own safety.
Little White screamed and cried, clinging onto Tian's hand. Tian tried to persuade it, but was not successful under Little White's shiny pitiful gaze.
Tian finally sighed and asked Little White to stick close to him all the time and to run away if they face any life threatening dangers.
In some corner of the jungle, under a large tree laid a white hooded man was covered in blood with his hand on his abdomen. He was trying to hold his breath and hide under the shadows.
"Do you think you can run from me? No matter where you are, I will catch you! You can't escape from this forest alive!", an expert wearing black hood, covering his entire body and a silver skull insignia on his chest, hovered in the air over the tree where white hooded man was hiding.

Soul of the Warrior
In a world where Classes, Stats, and Levels are the everyday norm, Reivyn has a secret. He was unusually aware of his surroundings from an incredibly early age, and Skills and Stats were acquired easily. He was just the son of an ordinary village family, and nothing appeared out of the ordinary on the surface. But below the surface, dreams of another life help shape his mentality and growth. Why does he have some remembrance of a past life, and what is his purpose in this new one? "Soul of the Warrior" is what I call a Semi-Isekai LitRPG. I say "semi," because Reivyn's past life is remembered like a dream, and very incomplete. It is still Isekai, though, as he remembers enough that it directly shapes his personality and his sense of self. The System that governs the world of "Soul of the Warrior" is a combination of modified versions from Selkie's "Beneath the Dragoneye Moons" and Kosnik4's "Magic Smithing." I have changed enough of these Systems and combined them in a way that is unique that I'm mostly sure it's fine, but I still have requested permission to use these ideas. They have both graciously granted me permission. Winner of the April Writathon Challenge. Release Schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri on Royal Road.

Unto Dark
A man of cripplingly ill mind, bridled with the spirits and regrets of the past. Wade Pierce trudges through each day of his monochrome existence, only as penance for his sins. Such a man is abruptly decamped of this world courtesy of unapologetic forces, left stranded in a realm filled with unknowns. Armed only with his potent yet fragile intellect, Wade advances into this new abyss, as he attempts to rewrite the wrongs he has committed. Plagued by vile beasts, self-righteous Gods, and even his own seething darkness, the cracks in his mind begin to spread and a dangerous, newfound power bubbles beneath the surface. As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...
