After a week of travelling to the city this city is the one they're looking for the maple city where thier home was located. They help Marcos entered the city. The other four bid their farewell to Marcos and Cathy while Cathy stayed with Marcos.

"Cathy where is the adventurer's guild here in this city" Marcos asked Cathy.

"Hmm.. wait I'll go to my parents tell them I'm back and I'll comeback immediately to guide you to the guild. " Cathy said before she left.

After Cathy came back they walked around the city as they walked Cathy recommended some good place in the city somehow Cathy became Marcos tourist guide throughout the city. The adventurers guild was their last destination.

Marcos and cathy arrived at the front door of the guild, Marcos entered the door while Cathy followed him behind. As they enter Marcos looked around he saw many adventurer in the hall. It's noisy inside the hall. They walked to the receptionist. They fall in line after a while it was their turn.

"I'm here to register" Marcos said.

"Okay wait here sir" The receptionist said before she left.

Marcos heard what people are talking about. This bearded man have bad reputation in this guild every newbie came here he always bullied the newbie. It's seems I need to teach this guy a lesson.

Cathy clutched his sleeve. Marcos looked at Cathy and he patted her hands as he reassured her.

She learned to read people based on their facial movement. She just stood beside marcos looking at him after a while she also looked at the sky.

Cathy helped Marcos find a good inn he will stay in.

Marcos was in his room meditating the basic mana gathering. After a few hours he opened his eye's he lied into the bed and fell asleep.

Early in the morning Marcos woke up he sat in his bed and meditate. After finishing his meditation he washed his face and went out of the room and walked to the adventurers guild. He wore a hood to hide his face and he picked a monster slaying quest.

He went outside the city as he slay an ordinary beast. After he finished his quest he went back to the inn to eat some food. While on the way he heard Cathy was calling him.

"Marcus, are you busy? " Cathy asked.

"No, I'm heading back to inn to have lunch, want to come? " Marcos said.

"Sure" When Cathy heard his words her eye's lit up.

Marcos and Cathy enter the inn and went to the hall. They sat down at a table and ordered food's.

"So, marcos why are you always wearing a mask" Cathy asked curiously with a sparkling eye's.

'Oh crap, we're gonna have a dinner and I need to removed my mask in order to eat' Marcos panicked a little and he shook his head as he calm down. He broke the mouth part of the mask with his hand and he looked at cathy then smirked.

"You... " when Cathy saw this she pouted.

"I can eat without having to take off my mask" Marcos said as he shrugged his shoulder.

"You're gonna pay for the bill today" Cathy said.

"What? " Marcos income in hunting was little and it's enough to bought what he need's daily. But the food cathy ordered was at high prize.

Marcos saw cathy eating her food without. He felt helpless. He subconsciously reached out his hand and he pinched Cathy's cheek.

"Ahh! What are you doing when we're eating?" Cathy said.

"Ah, sorry I couldn't help it" Marcos said and he started eating. It was his first time pinching a girl, in his past last he was a thirty year old virgin.

After they finish the food cathy leftand marcos went to his room.

A month passed by in the blink of an eye. Everyday was always the same for Marcos after he woke up he maditate then he walked to adventurers guild to do slaying quest and come back to ate lunch with Cathy.

He learned that there was an academy that teaches magus in the capital city. This kingdom was called Apneas kingdom. The Apneas family are the ruling family of this kingdom they are the imperial family.

Marcos decided to head in capital city in a month when he became a stage 5 mana gathering.
