Marcos was meditating basic energy gathering technique. He practice basic energy gathering technique as it was level 1 it was hard to gather energy when his technique was still level 1 that's why marcos practice it than the basic mana gathering technique. Basic mana gathering technique was level 4 he can gather enough mana subconsciously.

After he finish his meditation he left the inn. He headed to Cathy's house.

Marcos and Cathy was eating lunch.

"Cathy, I will leave this city tomorrow" Marcos said while he looked at Cathy in the eye's.

"What? " Cathy stood up as she heard him.

The surrounding people looked at them. Cathy immediately apologize to the people as she calm herself.

"So, marcos where are you going? " Cathy asked Marcos.

"The capital city Erligia" Marcos replied.

"Why? "

"I need to increase my strength"

"Will you come back" Cathy looked at Marcos in the eye's.

"Of course" Marcos answered.

After they ate their lunch Marcos prepare himself. He headed to the adventurer's guild and he pick up an escort quest where he will escort a merchant to the designated location. Of course he pick an escort quest where it will heading to the capital city it will earn him some money in the process.

Marcos returned to the inn.

'I don't know how can I rank my strength in this world or my power is average in my age or powerful enough.' Marcos thought and he closed his eye's to entered his meditation state.

Early in the morning Marcos woke up as he do his meditation. After he finish his meditation he went to Cathy to bid his farewell.

"You should be careful when you got in the capital city" Cathy looked at him.

"Yes I'll be careful" Marcus said. He don't know how he felt about Cathy.

"This is the lunchbox I prepare for you" Cathy said as she bring out a lunchbox and held it in front of Marcos.

"Okay I'm going now" Marcos received the lunchbox and he turned around to walked away.

Cathy looked at his disappearing figure when his figure can't be seen she then turned around she left.

A figure emerged when Cathy left and it looked at Cathy's direction. It pulled out a stone and said "madam the boy who young miss Cathy was seeing left the city"

"It's good that he left if he doesn't leave I will take action before the Zach family knows about this" The woman on the other side left.

The woman out down the stone and she muttered "Cathy you're already engaged why are you so stubborn just accept you're fate it's for you're own future"

Cathy immediately went to her house and she washed her face it revealed a stunning beautiful woman. Her long black hair draped to her shoulder, her jade like skin, her rosy lips, her sharp eyebrows, and her cheeks that revealed a small dimple when she smile. She looked at herself in the mirror and she muttered "marcos"

Marcos got in the back of the carriage as he looked at the other adventurer who take this quest. There we're 6 adventurer here including Marcos. The other five looked like they are a party.

"So, young man how about introduced yourself by the way I'm jack" The seemingly like leader of the party introduced himself and then it followed by the other member's.

"I'm marcos" Marcos introduced himself in a simple way.

It's take's 7 to 9 days when travelling to the city capital. Marcos heard some powerful families, clan or sect have some sort of transportation that doesn't required horse.

The first thing that comes to Marcos mind was car. Car was a transportation that doesn't required a horse or some living things. He heard it was metal like thing that powered by a stone that does have an energy to run it. Marcos was sure that it was a car that powered by a mana or world energy.

'If this world has technology but was powered by mana then why don't I see any of that I'm in this world for half a year" Marcos thought. 'Maybe this was still a country side'

"Stop"

Marcos and co. heard loud voice outside. Marcos peeked through he saw a bandit's surrounding the carriage.

Marcos and co got outside and looked towards the bandit's.

"Leave the carriage and we will spare you're lives" The leader of the bandit's shouted.

Jack the leader of the party dashed towards the bandit's without any warning and he slashed his sword.

Spurt!!!

Blood spurted to the throat of the bandit jack turned around and shouted "kill"

The other member also engaged in combat in the bandit's. Marcos looked around he saw all of the adventurer's are fighting and he also run to the nearest bandit and slashed his sword.

'That's my first kill' Marcos smirked.

Marcos was just an inexperienced person when he comes to this world. In his former world he doesn't even know how to kill and he haven't seen a person died in front of him but after the incident in the village his mental state changed after that he become ruthless to the person who has I'll intention towards him. This world is not like his former world. In this world when you are weak you will become prey to the other. There's no rule's in this world rule's is for the weak and the strong one's can break the rule's. When you are strong enough nobody can defy you. The weak revered the strong and the strong look down on the weak like they are ant's.

Marcos saw a bandit's charging at him. He blocked the bandit's sword with his sword he spun around and give the bandit a kick while slashing his sword.

'That's two'

Marcos charge toward the other bandit's.

After a while the bandit's was all dead and they buried their bodies to respect them.
