[Green Goblin. Brown Goblin. Grey Goblin. What else colour you have?]
Morning came, and after I had readied all the ration and other items that would be useful for my trip, I prepare to went out from the town and begin my journey to the Brass Mountain. Since this time my trip is without any token, if I have the intention to enter the Brass Mountain Outskirt Cave, I will be required to rent my own Compartment Cart. This is also where if I possess my own compartment cart, I will be able to use it without any remorse.
My trip begins. In between of my first-day journey, I took my time to carefully explore the outer woods and roads, escaping if I spotted a large number of enemies with the assistance of the Scan Skill. At my second day, I finally managed to reach the Brass Mountain Outpost, after I am stopped in between of my journey and fought with three teams of five goblins. The moment I reached the Brass Mountain Outskirt, I immediately rent some compartment carts and enters the cave, as I will have some use on the Brass component in the future.
Although I have a slightly bigger capacity of weight I could carry on me now, but when you considered the requirement of disposable trash I required to keep on me to be used as the fuel for the conversion, it is still not too much actually. This is why I spend a total of 50 Black Spirit Crystals to rent a total of 10 five-times compartment cart to use when I'm within the cave. With my current battery conversion of 15 batteries in hand, I could efficiently use my battery without any issue at least for the first two hundred minutes.
Five days later, I end my mining spree, after I managed to obtain another 3500 Brass Rods (1%) and about 260 Copper Rods (1%). With my number of bullets already been refilled to about 1000 slugs, I prepare to continue my journey once again, to the second mountain peak. Unexpectedly, my journey crossing the second mountain peak and third mountain peak actually met with no monsters at all, making me wonder if this a good thing or a bad one.
I quickly reach the 4th mountain peak, and on my way getting closer to the goblin settlement, I am actually under attack by a small group of ten goblins. Of course, looking at the messy formation of the goblins, I easily dispose all of them, but what was surprising to me, is that even after these goblins is dead, nothing is dropped after their corpses vanished into thin air. Plus one more question remains within my mind. "Why is this group of goblin is grey in colour? Do the goblins have differentiated in their kind as well?"

I travel deeper, and along the way, I met with two more of the Grey Goblins group, and easily fought with them until I reached the Goblin Settlement. Within the settlement, since I have a Goblin Hide on my back, the goblins begin to treat me friendlier, as they lead me to their chieftain. When I see the chieftain, I run a scan on him and quickly obtain some information regarding the chieftain.
Goblin Chieftain - Kukululu
Level - 20
Tribe - Grey Goblin Chieftain
Status - Threatened
"Chieftain Kukululu, this is the materials I am ordered to deliver to the Goblin Settlement, please receive it." I passed the five chest to the Chieftain as I speak, and the moment the five chests is placed on the ground, the chieftain immediately opened the chest with a special key in his hand and reveals all the food and dried goods within the chest. When all the other grey goblins saw the foods within, they pull their guts and rushed over to take their portion of food, greedily consumed it.
Looking at this sight before me, I am a little shocked with their actions. Were all these goblins starved for a week or two? They are actually waiting for all these rations within the chest, while I'm taking my leisure time to slowly travel to their settlement. "Human friend, thank you for delivering all the foods to us. We appreciate your kindness and master Su's care." the chieftain speaks. When I heard about Master Su, a question pops in my mind. Did this Master Su have a relation with Big Sis Su Rou?
"Chieftain Kukululu, do you have any problem? Please tell me, I could try to help the goblins if it's possible." I offered my bits of help to the chieftain, wondering why his status written as threatened when I run a scan on him. "Human friend, we are actually threatened by another goblin tribe that just build their settlement on the third mountain peak. They are quite strong and savage as well. They belonged to the Brown Goblin Tribe, a very ferocious tribe that was kicked out by the noble Green Goblins because of their brutish nature."
"I have no idea why would they choose to build a settlement at the third mountain peak, and since they appear, more and more grey goblins are being forcefully captured and treated as slaves in building their settlement. The Brown Goblin possess a very special Inner Ability called as Hunger Ritual. The more they satisfy their hunger, the stronger they will get. So these Brown Goblin will eat anything, as long it is flesh belonged to anything born into this world." the chieftain explained. The moment I heard this explanation, I begin to understand a few minor details.

Green Goblins, the noble among the Goblin Tribe. The green goblin possesses special inner ability of Blood Ritual that allows them to grow regardless of experience. The longer they survive, the higher their evolution will be. Next is the Brown Goblins. This is an exiled breed due to their Hunger Ritual Nature. They are a cannibal in nature, and because of this, they will even eat their own breed because of this.
The Grey Goblin is timider in nature and the only one within the Goblin Tribe that was friendly to all other tribes such as human, Orges, Elves, Dwarves, and Giants. The grey goblin is also well known for their double Inner ability of Wise Nature Ritual, an enhanced ability that allows them to evolve with age, and have an extremely fertile birth rate. If a green goblin could be born from being in pregnancy for three months, then the birth of the Grey Goblin would be more like a Sow (female Pig) giving birth to a litter of 8 to 12 piglets.
This is also the reason why, the grey goblin does not require to attack the human or any other tribe to kidnap their female to give birth, but just bought a few female slaves will be enough to make their tribe full of newborn. But currently, not only the advantage of the Grey Goblin is used by the Brown Goblin for their own benefits, but they are actually treated like a slave, with a no return path because whey they no longer have a value, they will be feed to the other Brown Goblin as the food source.
"Don't worry, I will try to help you to rescue the kidnapped goblins from the brown goblins settlement," I assure the chieftain that I will help them to solve this matter, but the chieftain actually has a different request when he tells me their situation. "Human friend, you are mistaken. We don't need you to rescue our people, we need you to strengthen our people." Chieftain Kukululu says.
"How?" I asked because this is my first time trying to help a goblin. "We need money. Not the usual human money but goblin money. It came in a form of beads." I withdraw the 340 Goblin Beads out from my inventory as the chieftain speaks. The moment he saw the Goblin Beads in my hand, he was shocked. "This is a plenty of Goblin Beads! Please keep it! If the Brown Goblin sees it, they will attack our settlement in full force!"
I quickly stored the beads away and patiently listens to the chieftain. "There will be a Goblin Merchant travels to our settlement tomorrow, I hope he will have a lot of good item for sale this time." the chieftain speaks. I wanted to ask him more about the merchant, but when the chieftain saw my expression, he continues. "The goblin Merchant is almost like our supplier of everything. Sometimes they came with slaves from many tribes, or sometimes they will have plenty of food source, materials for goblins and other things that we could buy to strengthen ourselves."
"They came each week, always with many kinds of item for sale. We used to buy 100 Goblin Custom Armour and weapons from them for the price of 10 Goblin Beads, but lately, because of the disturbance, we are getting lack of many resources." the chieftain says. "How did you all get the Goblin Beads?" I asked.
"Hahaha, the Goblin Beads came from the females of the tribe!" the chieftain laughed as he answers my question. "The female of the tribe is most important for our tribe because they could produce Goblin Beads from their body. This is used as currency for the goblin tribe." the chieftain continued. "Erm... How do the Goblin Bead is actually produced?" I asked deeper. "Oh, you want to know?" the chieftain smiled.
"We collect them the moment the came out from their wombs!" the chieftain speaks. I was drinking a mouthful of water at the moment, and spit all of the water out as I heard the chieftain's words.

MARY: The Dreadful
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] "You have to survive, Adam. You have to win." This is not a story starring Mary, because Mary is already dead. She bled out on her front doorstep following a sudden three-day absence. Seven years have passed, with her little brother—Adam—now standing at eighteen years of age. Following his sister's death, he lived the life of a delinquent, wandering the grimy streets of the city of Steeldale. All it amounted to was years of street fighting experience, no proper home and an uncertain future at a second-rate university. Unbeknowst to him, the day before university, he will be thrust from Steeldale into a brand new world. It is a world where a cherry red sky gazes down upon a fragmented continent, on which civilisations from other worlds have been dumped like refuse. The souls of man leak from their fingertips, coalescencing into superhuman powers and horrible fleshy monstrosities. Tribes of refugees clash against each other, attempting to carve out a place in this unrefined space. With no choice, Adam must traverse this dangerous new world, with Mary's shadow following him every step of the way. This is my entry to the April 2021 Writathon. Chapters will be posted as I write them.
