I considered. Again and repeatedly. Although the first two options are intriguing, it means nothing if compares with the third choice. I used to be firm through my selections, but no matter how calm I am, this third choice is keeping appearing within my mind, calling me to do not hesitate but accept it. How can I accept? I tried to suicide just to leave that world, but now I hesitate to decline that choice to return? What has happened in my mind? I reconsider my options. I turned the ring away as it keeps nudging my finger to give me the urgency to choose. I overcame this "Threat" and continues with my life. I went back first to the residence, wake the two lazy worms and had them follows me straight to the Cave of Three Kingdoms. Within this cave, it's my world it belonged. I aimed my Silver Brass Hunting Pistol towards the Yellow Tunnel and fired two shots. Realized that something sounds like a stack of bones falls to the ground, I know I hit at least a target. I charge into the yellow tunnel. Within is something different from what it looks from the Red tunnel. The Skeletal Soldiers spread like a bunch of rats. Four different variants. A fist Soldier, a Kick Soldier, A head-butting Soldier, and a charging soldier. Why I describe the monsters this way? Because like their name, they're obsessed with what they are doing. Like the charging soldier. It even kills one or two teammates without bothering about it. I take a look at a corner, and soon, I found a huge rock hard to reach even for the skeletal soldiers. I move towards the rock, and with the help of my goblins and my slime, I climbed the rock. Only leaving a part of my arms with my head from nose to the top of my head, I sneak at those Skeletal soldiers and fired my shots without restrictions. Two kills five kills, twenty kills. After the number of those killed skeleton reached sixty, I stopped and hop down to where those bones are and collects my part of the loot. Nice. 39 Lower Grade and 6 Medium Grade 10 Yellow Speed Crystals, what a good result. I continue to fight, without stopping. One day after that, I entered the green tunnel. The next day, the red one. My stat rose, but no matter how long I had already had my fun within this cave, it feels weird. The Katana wielder is no longer seen, plus in the same time, I can't see any special monster within the other two tunnels. Does this mean they have a different spawning time? I'm unsure, but I will not fight them if I can get away from their sight. But I wondered about my possibility of winning. With plenty of foods in my inventory pouch, I continue my fight along with my goblin and slime, where my slime at level 23 and is a powerful ally as we fought. Its special skills always there whenever I am in a pinch, and my goblin had already turned into a Goblin Warrior, with its level is staying at level 27. Soon, this cave gets easy to get through. That moment, the Katana wielder appears with two additional monsters beside him. A Warrior Skeletal Soldier with same armour clad on its body and hands with a knuckleduster visible to naked eyes. Another figure came in a feature of a mixed golem identical to the opponents from the Green Tunnel. It was a challenge. My Goblin Warrior sharpens its Goblin Spike Dagger as it walked towards the Mixed Golem, my Slime hop and get close to the Warrior Skeletal Soldier, and myself is facing straight to the Katana Wielder eyes. I lifted my pistol and aimed at the Katana wielder, and with some sound from my trigger, it acts as the bell to start the fights. The Katana wielder is fast, but that doesn't mean I am not. Picking up a similar speed, I took my chances to escape his pursuit while firing my slugs without hesitation. Our exchange is almost similar, each time my shot scratch the wielder, I received minor cuts. it felt like; we are exchanging pointers with each other's body. In another side, I am proud to see that my goblin warrior overcomes his opponent's threat, and seems like his victory is secure. The slime is still fighting with the Warrior Skeletal Soldier but doesn't seem like it was losing. I looked back at my opponent. "Zush!" the tip of Katana flashes through my left eye as the Katana pierced into my shoulder. The Katana Wielder gave out a sound of "Krak, krak, Krak..." as its jaws moving. "Damn Monster, take this!" I aimed my brass wrist bracer at its throat as I fired a stake and pierce its armour. behaved like a fighter, I throw my Pistol away as I activate the Battery function on that weapon. the pistol shot like a robotic controlled as I continue to land punches and kicks on the Katana Wielder. I strike out a full leg swing to disrupt its balance before I catch the back of the monster's head, and with the effect of my Pinpoint Strike Skill, I used my level 10 Quirk and pierce my stake into its head to cause a critical strike! "Prakk!" the skull of the Katana Wielder cracked as the stake pierces through the head. I hesitate to let go. The stake pierces deep within the skull retracted, and with a jerk of my finger, the stake came out once again, taking away the life of this dead body. "I guess, after all this, surviving as a human are more interesting," I tell myself, as I turned the ring upwards to face me once again. Are you tempting me to choose the third choice? The ring did not react but seems delighted as I opened the notice once again. I looked at the three choices again before I uttered a reply. Three. "You had chosen the Returning Pedlar Upgrade. Do you wish to continue? Yes No Note: The results is unexpected. You might not return to this world ever again, are you firm with your choice? "Come on." I chose yes, and awaits the sight turns blurry. ********** ********* ******** ******* ****** ***** **** *** ** * "..." "..." "Take a view of your child! He looks so like you!" a woman's voice speaks at the moment I could hear. "As if he doesn't have similarity to you. Look at his forehead and eyebrow!" the man then replies the words the woman says. The two chuckled as I felt a soft and gentle hug is wrapping around me. I wanted to open my eyes to see what happened, but it seems like I still can't see. Just a thin line of light is within my vision, I guess I will need to adjust for some time. Something came to my mouth after ten or twenty seconds. I tried to not open my mouth, but after I didn't resist myself, I did. It was something that natural because I might forget about it, but I won't, after being given the chances for the second time. "Two little tigers, two little tigers, running like a wind," "One without ear and one without tail," "It's weird, it is weird." Because the way this song is sung, I know who is the person hugging me. My mother. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Reader, Thank you for your support and it was a great time writing out this short novel. Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.

Sick - An Irondad Story
"I looked over at my usually gallant father, who had dried tears streaking his face. I felt awful, not because I was in pain, but because I made my father heartbroken. I never wanted him to feel this pain." Or, Peter's battle with a terminal illness that will destroy so much more than himself. This was a school project, so I had to cut some real MCU things out, but other then that the names stay the same. 06/20/2022 AN: Hey guys. This story is five years old at this point. That's pretty crazy. While I have moved on to other fandoms in that time, it's great to see people interacting with this. I'm not sure how well it holds up, especially with Creep by Radiohead being in it (idk what I was thinking lmfaoo), but I'm glad to see that some people still enjoy it. Have a good one. :)
