Every teams already made their plan. Among them, Zhang Hu from Nanping had all most of the cards. Next was Huang Wen, who knew all but Zhang Hu's plan to invade Fuzhou when Wang Yuehei invade Ningde. Wang Yuehei didn't know about Huang Wen's little army near Gutian Town and the prepared invasion by Zhang Hu from Nanping.

The one in the darkness were the PLA, those in Ningde, the reinforcement to Gutian town, Colonel Wen Liang and Captain Zhao Qing.

After some discussion among Huang Wen's supporters, it was agreed that they would let Captain Zhao Qing in the dark. There would be many casualties, when Colonel Wen Liang opened the way for the zombies while Captain Zhao Qing would for sure try to defend his line of defense. But by then, there was no need to proof Colonel Wen Liang's betrayal. Those who betray and those who faithfully defend the city would be revealed in no time.

The second reasons would be to give Huang Wen and his army a chance to show their might and raked in merits for their army, both in the eye of Captain Zhao Qing and the civilian who live in Gutian Town. That would opened a path for Huang Wen to rule over the town.

Mean while, the grand elder secretly prepared an army of 10,000 men. With Yue Guang kept watching Wang Yuehei's army. the grand elder was prepared to send his army through the river. Now he had ships and could easily reached Fuzhou within a day.

Wang Yuehei finally sent his final batch of zombies to his army that hid near Ningde.

Colonel Wen Liang finally got a secret visit from one of the zombie's commander. His letter was accepted and sent to Wang Yuehei in Fuzhou. The zombie's commander promised that when Gutian town fell to their hand. Colonel We Liang would certainly receive generous rewards from Wang Yuehei.

Everyone was ready.

Now, they just waited for the reinforcement from Ningde to engage in battle against the zombies that surround Gutian Town.

Once the army from Ningde arrived, Colonel Wen Liang would make his move. Wang Yuehei would invade Ningde. The grand elder would invade Fuzhou. And in the middle of all that battles, Huang Wen would lead his 3,000 men to win Gutian Town.

But that had to wait now. Based on their calculation, the reinforcement from Ningde wouldn't arrived for the next two days.

That night after the meeting, Huang Wen excused himself. He went to a secluded place, all by himself. Not even Zhang Xuan was allowed to follow him. He went to meet Fengsu.

"Fengsu... finally we meet in person.", Huang Wen greeted Fengsu who suddenly appeared just like a wind.

"Huang Wen. Back then we did good, didn't we?", greeted Fengsu still exhilarated from the previous battle.

Huang Wen nodded his head, "Yep, pretty good. Where are the zombies now?"

Fengsu answered, "I brought them with me. They are around here somewhere, near this village that you're using as your base."

Huang Wen laughed, "Really? Then I better make sure nothing happen to you. Otherwise they'll be running amok among my men."

Fengsu laughed, "Yes, you really should. I mean I do have this technique. Once I branded them with this mark of mine, they thirst for blood. Not even someone at your caliber will scare them."

Huang Wen snorted, "Is that a threat?"

Fengsu laughed, "Not a threat. Not a threat. Why should I threat you? We're allies."

Huang Wen laughed and said, "But you should see me as a threat."

Huang Wen applied his techniques so fast, that it affected Fengsu before he could neutralize it. Fengsu wasn't came unprepared, but he didn't take Huang Wen seriously. Fengsu did acknowledge Huang Wen could be a potential threat. However he failed to redefine his presence in his mind. Huang Wen still this person, who could be easily influenced to kill one of his competitor. Fengsu still thought that, he was the one who tricked Huang Wen. He was the one who used him.

Never he thought that Huang Wen might change the role between them.

Huang Wen was using him.

Now, Huang Wen wanted to enslave him. In a splits of second, Huang Wen threw a pressuring aura, filled with killing intense. The technique that was learned from Baihu. It had a paralyzing effect. Fengsu was focusing on fighting the pressure when Huang Wen activated his second technique from Youshe. By the time Fengsu free from the paralyzing effect, he was having a hard time to detect Huang Wen's presence.

Fengsu already seen this technique once, quickly he sharpened his senses, while he exerted his soul force to prevent any external influence affected his judgment.

"You should never underestimate me.", Huang Wen whispered in his left ear.

Quickly Fengsu punched to the left and at the same time threw himself to the right.

His eyes caught Huang Wen on his left and he wondered why he wasn't moving away from him. It took him a few seconds to realize that his body did move away from Huang Wen. It was his head that didn't move along with his body.

The next moment he could feel the power of Huang Wen's blade absorbed his existence.

Demons and fairies were spiritual being, who didn't have any physical aspect. Their physics was formed by their spiritual power. Now, that he was killed by Huang Wen. Fengsu could feel every inch of his existence was quickly absorbed into Huang Wen's realm.

Instinctively. he was struggling to survive. He was struggling to keep the part that made him, who he was.

Fengsu felt helpless as the power sucked him deep into Huang Wen's soul realm. It felt like he was sucked in by a whirl. He desperately protect himself, until suddenly the suction was gone.

He was inside.

Battered and weakened, Fengsu slowly got up and looked around. There he saw, Baihu and Youshe, crackling their joints and without any warning, they jumped to attack him.

Meanwhile Huang Wen with his eyes closed, could feel the energy filled his body. It wasn't enough for him to reach another level, based on the changes. But now he quickly sat and meditate. He circulate the energy and slowly stored it within his soul realm.

Based on the changes, he just improved his spirit stat without gaining a level.

Huang Wen faintly noticed how Baihu and Youshe, repressed their new roommate. But he didn't care. Huang Wen carefully examined his soul realm. He felt how murky his soul realm was. It was stronger and bigger than before, but less pure.

He already noticed that his soul realm was tainted by many souls he was absorbed. They were not part of him. It was the residue of those who were killed and absorbed by him.

Using his knowledge and experience in extracted certain element from the energy around him. Huang Wen carefully extracted the dirt that polluted his soul realm. When he breathed in, he carefully separated the pollution and the energy. When he breathed out, he released the pollution outside his body.

He did about ten cycles, when his senses told him that dangers were approaching.

Huang Wen opened his eyes and said to himself, "So he didn't lie about those zombies."

They were the zombies that belonged to Fengsu. Now, without anyone controlled them. It was just as Fengsu said, they ran amok.

Huang Wen didn't worry with his men in the village. He knew Xia Bao and Chen Fang would not let the sentry relaxed even a bit during their sentry duty. Fengsu had less than ten thousand zombies. One of his men could handled more than ten zombies. There was no way, Fengsu's zombies could harm his men.

Huang Wen chose to focus on those who charged at him.

He swiftly moved. His sword danced among the zombies. Every time he swung his sword, at least three zombies were killed.

In the village, long before the greater part of the zombies arrived, several zombies who arrived first already warned the sentry. They sounded the alarm to warn everyone. The first few hundreds were easily killed by the sentry. Before the sentry was overwhelmed by greater number of zombies, their companions already joined the battle.

By the time, the greatest part of the horde arrived, everyone in the village was ready to face them.

There was no casualties among Huang Wen's men. Some people even gained a level from killing the zombies. Meanwhile, in a location a bit far from the village, hundred of zombies killed by Huang Wen alone.

"What just happened now?", Chen Fang asked one of the sentry.

"We don't know for sure, suddenly zombies came from every direction to attack us.", the leader answered.

"Did the demon's army already noticed our presence?", Chen Fang asked Xia Bao.

Xia Bao shook his head, "If it was them, then why it stopped after only few thousands? Don't they have close to a million?"

Xia Yue, "Then who command this zombies?"

Zhang Xuan said, "Could they were some wild uncontrolled zombies?"

Chen Yao replied, "But free uncontrolled zombies tend to avoid high level people like us. And there are many high level people gathered in this village."

As they discussed the recent incident, Huang Wen walked toward them.

"Huang Wen, are you okay? Did the zombies attack you too?", Zhang Xuan ran toward him and asked him many questions.

Huang Wen smile and comforted her.

"Okay everyone, don't worry. That's just some attack from uncontrolled zombies. The demon who controlled them, put a hex on them. The hex would cause the zombies run amok, whenever the controller died. I killed the demon and that was why it happened."

"And don't worry, that's all this demon have. We already killed all of his zombies. Don't relaxed your watch but don't worry too much either.", said Huang Wen.

It took a while for Huang Wen to answer everyone's question. But once he gave them answers, they began to calm down. Chen Fang and Xia Bao quickly helped to set everything in order. When they were left alone, Huang Wen spoke to Chen Fang, Xia Bao, Zhang Xuan, Chen Yao and Xia Yue.

"Listen, I just absorbed decent amount of soul essences. Since the battle won't happen in the next few days. I want to do some close door training. Don't worry about food and drinks. It's better if I avoid any of them during the training. You could wake me from my meditation when the reinforcement from Ningde arrived. I will ask your assistance to arrange everything during my training."

"Huang Wen are you really going to be okay?", Zhang Xuan asked

She was worried about Huang Wen's condition, if he didn't eat or drink anything.

Huang Wen laughed, "I already did it before, you can ask Mi Fang, Deng Zheng and the others. Don't worry, it's fine. I'll be fine. I need this close door training. The next battle won't be easy, any little improvement might means life and death."

Xia Bao said, "We understand. Me and Brother Chen Fang will take care of everything when you do your close door training."

Chen Fang patted Zhang Xuan's shoulder, "Don't worry, you didn't pick a loser. He knows what he is doing."

After some few more words, advises and cautions, Huang Wen left them to do his close door training in the house that was prepared for him. The next few days, he kept purifying his soul realm. It didn't improve his spiritual strength.

But as his soul realm purified, his mind felt clearer. His heart grew calmer. His will grew stronger.

The three demons who lived within his soul realm, noticed the changes. As Huang Wen grew stronger by day, their loyalty to him grew as well. They have different characters. Youshe admired Huang Wen's trickery when he dealt with Fengsu. Baihu rather admired his bravery when he broke through the siege of Gutian Town. Fengsu admired Huang Wen's keen assessment when he asked Fengsu to scout the area around Fuzhou.

The have one thing in common though, that was the fact that they wanted Huang Wen to grow stronger.

Because, now they had no chance to escape from his soul realm. They had no choice but to serve Huang Wen as his slave. The only way for them to stand proud in front of other demons, was by helped Huang Wen to stand at higher position than the demon lords.

Demons and fairies, although formed from different elemental, had similarities in pride. Fairies loved beauty. Demons loved destruction. Both believed that their race was better than human. Both at the same time, envy that human's existence was one dimension higher than theirs.

The demons explained it all in a conversation with Huang Wen during his closed door training.

"And why is that? Why humans is considered in a higher dimension than demons and fairies? ", Huang Wen asked those three.

"Because fairies and demons, have no existence but their spiritual existence. While human have physical and spiritual aspect in their existence.", Fengsu answered.

Although his rank was the lowest among them three, Fengsu was considered as the scholarly one, learned in the history of ancient demons. He was the one who actively explained when Huang Wen asked something.

"If demons and fairies are considered of lower being, then is there being that's considered of higher being than human?", Huang Wen asked again.

Fengsu answered, "According to the saying among ancient demons. From the lower to the higher are..."

"The lowest are various fairies and demons."

"Higher than them are animals, plants and humans. And among those three the highest one is humans"

"Higher than humans are demigods and semidevils."

"Higher than demigods and semidevils, are gods and devils."

"Higher than gods and devils, are the sovereigns."

"Higher than the sovereigns are The One who had no form, no name. Yet through Him and from Him, all that had form and name are came into being."

"Through the cycle of reincarnation, one could move from one dimension to another dimension, be it lower or higher. Depend on their karma and their cultivation. Demons and fairies wish to be reincarnated as humans. But some of those who already accumulated power and knowledge didn't want to go through such thing.", said Fengsu.

"Hmm... if they go through the reincarnation, then they would lose all their knowledge and power. Although they're born in a higher dimension, doesn't mean they'll achieve anything in such condition.", said Huang Wen.

Fengsu, Baihu and Youshe nodded their head.

"That's right.", said Fengsu.

"But one thing I wonder, why would you want to be a higher dimension being? From the way I see it, a high level demons or fairies, could easily kill a human. They're much stronger and with the years of living, they gained the knowledge that was impossible for one person to learn in his life time.", Huang Wen asked.

Fengsu answered, "Since we're lacking in one aspect, our grow is limited as well. There are things that we will never knew, since we have no physical being. About longevity, once you learn how to improve your vitality, your physics will be able to live for hundred of years, just like us. On the other hand, no matter how long we live, we will never understand the physical aspect of an existence because we have none."

Fengsu explained it further, "Human tend to think that their bodies were nothing but a vehicle for their soul. This is a big mistake. In human case, without body the soul will perish. Without soul the body will perish. Both are intertwined in a relation we, demons and fairies, could never imagine. But you have it both, you have a way to learn each aspect and their relation. It is in your being, the keys toward the higher dimension."

"Hmm.. you said some don't want to go through the reincarnation. Is there another way for them to have physical existence without having to go through reincarnation?", Huang Wen asked.

Fengsu answered, "Since we lose so much if we go through reincarnation, of course many of us trying to find a way to gain a physical body without having to go through reincarnation. There are many theories and techniques. So far in my life, I never see anyone succeed."

"The demon king wanted to conquer the world. I bet it has something to do with this.", said Youshe.

Fengsu nodded, "Many demons believe that and I think all the hints show that it's true."

Huang Wen quietly thought of these informations.
