▪▪▪ POV : Wilhelm Baumeister ▪▪▪
My name is Wilhelm Baumeister, 23 years old and i'm a hikikomori. Black hair and eyes with delicate face features made me popular with a lot of girls back in high school and no, i do not have socialize disorder or any others mental illness. My main reason for shutting myself from the world is because of RPG games. Admit it, if we compare our boring-as-fuck world to the thrilling-magical games world then the latter one will win every fucking time. Anyway i just got a mail from Obisoft, one of the biggest RPG games making company in the world asking my opinion about their new offline RPG [Aleyria]. I, of course answer truthfully that it is simply amazing. The world is very big with 13 continents (149 hour of playthrough with max level character and i still have 11 continents left to explore), NPC is incredible intelligent to the point where you'll feel as if you are talking to real people. There is no class restriction so you can be whoever the hell you want but what make the game so unique is the fact that you can customize you character past and how he behave, for example you create your character to be a arrogant/racist noble then you'll start off with a shit ton of money but almost every NPC especially non-human race WILL either fear or hate you.

[Do you want to live in [Aleyria] ?]
Are you stupid !!? Of course i want to live in [Aleyria] ! What kind of idiot ask this ?
▪▪▪ POV end ▪▪▪
Wilhelm press the [Yes] button without any hesitation then shut the computer down, his stomach is rumbling like crazy after 25 hour of constant playing [Aleyria] without eating. Half way through the living room he heard a loud scream.

"What the hell !?"
Walk outside with a military combat knife in hand for protection, he crouch down and silently approach the dark alley 2 block away from his beautiful apparent where some strange noise could be heard.
*Crunch Crunch Crunch*
"Is there a bear on the loose..?"
He try to calm down by talking to himself but the moment he reach the alley his face pale. A big pig-face monster 2 meter height with red skin is feeding on a woman corpse. It turn to look at him with a disgusting grin, the staring contest continue for 10 seconds until pig-face started to charge at Wilhelm. Despite it large build, the monster is fast, just when the club in it right hand is about to hit Wihelm head, he sidestep. His face is emotionless while his eye is fierce, born as a genius, Wilhelm exceed in everything but if you are his friends you'll know that he is born to fight. In highschool many people try to bully him due to his popularity with girls but none has succeed, everyone of them end up with some broken bones. He can learn a technique just from observe martial artist and his fighting style [World Devour Overlord] is known only to him, it's a style combine from every martial on earth, he had personally select all of the most superior technique from those martial to create his style. He also have 2 other unique, you could say power that no one other then him have. The first one is [Adrenaline], it help him subdue both his emotion and pain so that he can focus on the fight but this ability of his is very limited. Unlike [Adrenaline], [Parallel Thinking] is something he can access to anytime he want, this ability split his consciouness to 6 different one and together they offset each other weakness.

▪▪▪ POV : Wilhelm Baumeister ▪▪▪
How can something that big move this fast !? Dammit ! I just barely dodge that attack ! I have to end him now before he take the fight out on the street ! Even with those absurd strengh and speed, as long as i keep him in this alley he can't do shit. Club can only do slash and in a narrow place like this he can't perform a horizontal attack. Sorry but you're fucked buddy. The pig-face guy try to hit me with downward attack but the pattern is so similar to the point where i dodge them all without breaking a sweat. If not for the corpse in the corner of the alley i would have sympathize with him, he behave just like a baby throwing tantrum.
*Slash*
My knife slash through his abdomen, some green blood flow out from the wound.

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Release Schedule Chapters will be released once per week, though I've not yet decided on a specific day. Regardless, there shouldn't be more than seven days between chapters, but should that be the case, I'll state it in the post author note. Severed Fates, book 1 of EOTSG A multiple POV fantasy set in the future. This book will feature elements of space travel and advanced technology, but not too much, and the main focus will be on the characters as they strive to achieve their goals.
