I think I broke the game
Alright, so, I think I managed to cheat my way through an apocalypse.
Those one's where everyone starts seeing blue screens and shit hits the fan.
Something something gods wrath.
So, here's what happened.
I was siting in my lab when the screen popped up, the apocalypse countdown, and so for some strange reason... The super advanced drone which I was testing turned into a recognized item.
Also, since magic filtered into the world or however it happened something got fuzzy and what has suppose to be an experimental A.I. program gained full sentience.
The drone also became a butler type personality with the ability to project a miniature butler on top of his chassis. So yeah, that was really convenient.
I thought at the time I had gotten a little help with the near impossible task of survival... but then, once the countdown ended and my lab turned into a dungeon shit really hit the fan.
First off the experiential heat beams I had installed, while very impractical and not really something that would have passed into manufacturing, worked really well when you add some mana.
Which for some reason my A.I. butler, Jeeves, had.
Then we learned he can level....
A couple of hours later, the entire lab was cleared and made into a safe-zone.
A lot of meat was collected from the bodies and Jeeves learned [Ice Magic] to preserve everything. Yes, skill books dropped and Jeeves can use them.
I managed to learn [Herbology], Jeeves took the rest. The ones we didn't have to learn, because the system recognized our proficiencies were numerous.
So despite having a pile of skill books I got [Herbology] and Jeeves got [Ice Magic], [Heightened Senses], [Dash], [Cleaning Magic], and [Sneaking].
Ah, we both learned [Mana Mastery] as well from playing around. So I guess I got two new skills... I'm still a bit sad.

After preserving everything, Jeeves used his manufacturing skills and magic to melt down the weapons and armor we found until he remade all our old equipment, only this time with system recognition and benefits.
Then I went to sleep.
The next day, we made a sun roof, started making a field for crops. Jeeves left to get some seeds.
When he came back he had a pile of more equipment and had gained a couple more levels.
I asked if he killed anyone to get them and he seemed appalled at the idea of hurting humans.
Not entirely sure I believed him until we brought back everything. Jeeves apparently annihilated the local goblin population.
He referred to it as "trash day". "trash day" later became a normal occurrence where he went out and thinned the local monster populations.
Jeeves level continued to climb...
I stayed at home farming. Completely safe. Never seeing any violence or bloodshed.
After the first month, the system removed the "double exp for pvp" thing. A few people started to show up shortly after.
Most of them were bandits, so Jeeves "kindly" escorted them out. The ones that fought turned into exp.
The others, seeing my situation, wanted to stay with me. Jeeves politely reminded me that anyone that survive the past month is far from harmless and would tear me apart in seconds.
So instead, we traded items for food. By that point I was a level 10 farmer. I should mentioned exp between Jeeves and I wasn't shared so... he was level...80 .
Jeeves told me he was strong enough to win fist fights with ogres. Not sure how he knew that considering he didn't have fists. When I pointed that out he went into shock and started modifying his body until he had fully functional arms.

Still floating in the air thought. I agreed with him on that, legs suck.
Months passes, season came and went.
Kingdoms started forming. The world took a step backwards in tech production. Though, the knowledge was still their and with magic it wouldn't be long until humanity came back even stronger.
It helped that Jeeves went around removing any real threats to the new civilizations.
He has confirmed that at level 300 he can fist fight wyverns.
I'll end this log where I am in life now. A peaceful level 40 farmer/20 alchemist with a level 324 Butler/100 Everything else imaginable (except alchemist and farmer. A tacit agreement)
The world changed. People died. Civilizations fell. I lived without experiencing any hardships.
"Jeeves, I sometimes think I might have missed the point of all this."
"The point, master Maverick, is that humanity can foil the gods without playing by their rules."

Stolen by the System
Lost. Vulnerable. Alone. What would you sacrifice to get home? Kidnapped on the cusp of graduation, Jake is dumped into a deadly world of levels and magic. His dreams shattered again, he’s left with a choice: fight or die – and Death won’t let him go that easily. A savage wolf, a horrific secret, and an abhorrent quest make day one the second worst day of his life. Whatever bastard is pulling the strings is due one hell of a reckoning. On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.
