Just one more week until testing is over, hopefully I can get one more chapter out before then. although this chapter is short enjoy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh what do you know it’s been three years already.
These three years have been very uneventful. Nothing new, just Lilia and magic classes. Not to say Lilia is boring it’s just that three years of the same thing over and over again is pretty boring.
I mean for peat sakes I’m only 10 years old this year. I want to go out to play and have fun too.
I didn’t even learn what my element or elements were for, I only learned some basic chants and basic spells that anyone can use regardless of element.
I mean come on who wouldn’t find that amazingly boring.
Today is the day we go try out some different higher level spells to find out what element. Needless to say it’s pretty easy to find out. Although you can perform basic elemental spells of any type, you can only do higher level spells of your element.
So as soon as Lilia and I walked to the classroom of intermediate casting for the thousandth or so time, we were whisked away to the training ground.
No surprise there we knew it was coming, that didn’t mean we weren’t excited though. Lilia was practically going crazy, bouncing all over the place.
Like jeez how excited can one get.
Our still fat, greasy, disgusting teacher got us all to line up when we reached the training, and what do you know, we went one at a frickin time.
It might not seem that long to some people, but when you have 30 different kids going one at a time trying to cast 10 different spells that they can’t even get right the third time it’s LONG!!

Thankfully me and Lilia were 9 and 10 respectively else we would be waiting for our turn forever, and I would have long been crushed by the hug Lilia crunched me with when we got into line, that she held until it was her turn.
Like sheesh what’s her level of strength. She’s only ten, like me!
Anyways it was Lilia’s turn, but unlike all those other kids she chanted the spells perfectly! She only had three different types though. She could use wind, water, and summoning. She even summoned a monster for her summons.
A cute little lemur looking thing that I would’ve absolutely killed for it was so cute. Too bad it bit me….. Hard. Right square on the bicep and it was so hard it started to bleed, cry cry.
Anyways so I got up to the stand for my turn, no surprise there, and then the teacher gave me the sheet with the chants, and ran away only stopping to set up a quick barrier in front of all the other kids. Like dang is he that afraid of my power?
So I started with the easiest, Destruction.
“The world shall behold my destruction as I release it upon my enemies, heed my call and destroy at my whim”
“Bomb”
I didn’t even get a chance to cry in shock, the explosion covered most of the training ground. The barrier held it for a moment but then shattered, but no one was hurt as far as I could tell.
That wasn’t the same for me though.
I went flying through the air, just like the shrapnel of exploding bombs. I flew past the kids, getting in a quick glance of Lilia’s shocked and worried face.
Then I slammed into the wall of the building that was near the training ground and promptly lost consciousness in a sea of darkness.

Breakers
My name is Joo In-gong. The name that my parents gave me meant ‘protagonist’ of the world. As anyone can predict, I was constantly teased due to my name. In kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school. If I went to university as planned then I would probably be laughed at there as well. So, at one point, I really hated my name. But not anymore. Now, I think slightly differently. Maybe being named Joo In-gong was a type of foreshadowing?
