《Those Zombies Again》Chapter 38

Simultaneously with chains guy, The other two used a fireball and an ice spear at the same time, previously approaching Sam by 3 meters. Obviously those guys were a dream team. Sam calmly dodged both skills and sliced them apart.
He could have started earlier, but he wanted to look at the level 10 skills. Nothing special, in a couple of seconds he cut everyone who was with a firearm like pigs, then knocked out the rest.
He tied up the remaining four and began interrogation. When the first did not answer, he cut off his arms and legs and the cat realized that his time had come, he began to tear his throat and face.
The other three apparently understood Sam's message, so they answered quite willingly. Of course, when Sam found out what he needed, he still gave them to the kitten, just asked him to kill them quickly so that they would not suffer for a long time.
Sam did not consider himself a kind person, but he was still not a psychopath, they kill for fun, but Sam killed for the sake of experience and self-defense, so he is a fairly adequate person, in theory.
As it turned out, these guys reacted so aggressively, as there was a typical case of racial struggle in the city. There were a lot of tourists and people of different nationalities and skin colors, but obviously it was the black ones who won.
Well that was probably just an excuse to kill each other for food and experience but whatever.
Not far from here there is a cathedral, it was around it that the territory of the camp was barricaded. The local baron was some kind of religious fanatic. Only 400 people remained in the camp.
Sam completely forgot about religion, there is a huge difference between believers and fanatics with charlatans. A real believer, believes for himself and does not touch anyone, and does not even propagate faith.

In all other cases, Sam considered people the last two types. Sam himself was baptized as a small child without permission, and then they also beat him if he was praying incorrectly or could not remember the prayer.
He never believed in any gods and he obviously tried to explain it. But who cares what he wants?
Once he was in church for a so-called sermon, the pastor said in plain text that believers should give 15% of their salary to the Lord, they say, what is 15% of your salary compared to praising the Lord? And to his surprise, a whole hall of people waved a booth, crossed themselves and readily agreed with the opinion of the shepherd.
When he was smoking outside the temple, one of the shepherds politely invited him to enter church, Sam refused, after which he was told that he would burn in hell.
In general, Sam did not have a high opinion of religion. In fact, if it were not for his personal experience, he would hardly have believed that people are being led to this, but as it turned out, there are many fools.
Religion itself was good and beneficial to society. Unfortunately, whoever a person is, a believer, the Pope, or even your parents and relatives, first of all they are all humans, and many humans are known to be made of shit. These same people mix with shit everything around them, religion in particular.
There were no zombies on the streets in the part of the city where Sam was, because there was supposedly Z1, who gathered zombies around him. Why he still had not endured the camp of the people was unclear.
In the camp itself there were few weapons, there were also few type 1 fighters, apparently the rest of them killed each other. The leader had about 20 type 1 fanatics under his command; they were supposedly the commanders for the rest of the rabble.

This detachment was sent on a fishing trip, more than six months have passed since the zombie apocalypse, there was obviously not enough food, and despite the danger, people had to fish and hunt. Unless of course they were planning to eat other people.
At first, there was a lot of food everywhere. For example, in high-rise buildings of city X under 90% of the population died out, then it is obvious that there was plenty of food at that time in the vacated apartments, and then in stores and their warehouses, perhaps there were other supplies.
In general, while Sam was there, people still found something to profit from and he did not meet cases of cannibalism. However, now Sam did not know what to expect.
Sam went to the side of the camp and soon got to the fence, he did not hide and did not even look for a place to enter the territory, but simply jumped over the fence.
The sentry at the wall saw Sam at first shouted at him to stop, but when he saw him jump over the wall, the sentry threw his bow to the floor and raised his hands. Sam smiled at the sentry, there are still sane people. After knowing the direction of the temple, he told him to stay put.
After running between the buildings, Sam saw the temple and went inside. Of course, the white man was conspicuous, so on the way to the temple they opened fire on him. Sam sped up and started the carnage.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
