WORLD SYSTEM
W-What!? What is this?
The last thing I remember was working at my part-time job, I was as a lifeguard at a neighboring pool. The last thing I can remember is...is...someone was drowning...
That's right! Someone was drowning, I went in to save them but as I approached them someone grabbed my leg. No, it wasn't someone, it was something!
It was a truck, it was a truck with arms and shark fins! It was a toy truck, a rather large toy truck with human arms and legs with a shark fin on top of it's head. It grabbed me with it's arms, and dragged me down to the bottom of the pool. And then it's legs began to spin around, as if they were wheels. And the tiny black silhouette yelled out with a frightening shriek from inside the truck, "BEEP BEEP MOTHER TRUCKER"
That was a dream right? Yeah, that was a dream...
Then if that was a dream what's this!
Right now, I'm sitting sitting in what seems to be a massive crib! A rather comfortable crib, but I'm in a massive crib! Am I in a world of giants? Am I in a dream? Everything is so big! And what's this, blue thing floating in front of my face!
No matter where I look, it's just there floating in front of my face. What to do, what to do...
I wonder if I can do something that will suddenly make me up? I wonder if I can touch this.

And suddenly the blue object expanded into several other objects. This is? A Menu? I pressed the blue object labeled WORLD SYSTEM MENU
And the other tabs collapsed and folded back into the one. I opened it back up again, and pressed the one labeled STATUS SCREEN

STATUS SCREENName:KevinRace:HumanLevel:1Class:OtherworlderStrength:10Intelligence:20Agility:5STATUS POINTS:5
Kevin? That's not my name, my name's ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■.
I wonder if I can change it, I pressed my name but nothing happened. I tried pressing the other's and a few tabs opened up after pressing my Race, and Class.
HumanHumans are one of the most predominant species in the world. They might not have the greatest population, greatest strength, greatest lifespan, or greatest intellect, but they remain one of the most widespread races even among the mighty races like the Dragons, Lords, Giants, Titans, Elves, Dwarves, Demons, and the great many races.
OtherworlderThe mysterious class that appeared suddenly in this world, they possess uncanny strength, agility, intelligence, and a wide variety of supernatural abilities.
As for Strength, Intelligence, and Agility nothing showed up when I pressed them, and I ended up allocating a point to each of them by accident.
So I closed the STATUS SCREEN tab and opened up the SKILLS/ABILITIES tab. And inside was a single ability.
Oblivion Sphere
And as I was about to press it to see what it's about, the door to the massive room I was in opened up, and a giant walked in.
"So you're my baby brother, huh?"(Peter)
Baby Brother?
"Aa a ah a aaa" (Kevin)
Huh? Why can't I say anything?
"Oh? They said you were a quiet one, you didn't cry at all when you came out. I wonder if you're like me..." (Peter)
Like you? In what way! I'm no giant. Anyways, back to what I was doing. I pressed the button labeled Oblivion Sphere, and suddenly I felt an intense pain in my chest.
Suddenly a large black ball appeared in front of me, and shot outwards straight towards the giant. The giant raised his hand and a transparent film like barrier appeared in front of him, but it did nothing to hinder the black sphere.

The sphere phased right through his barrier, and completely enveloped his arm before shooting to the back of the room. It slammed into the wall and bore straight through it into it, before suddenly expanding and destroying the rest of the wall. It looked like nothing could stop this black sphere of destruction until suddenly several weapons constructed out of pure light struck it, causing it too implode.
Suddenly several other giants, appeared one after another, "Quick someone get a Priest! Peter's lost an arm!"
The giants gathered around the one known as Peter, and eventually one giant dressed in a white robe came by and healed his wounds. And after finally having taken care of their compatriot, all the giants faced me.
Suddenly a large pillar of dirt rose up from the ground, and a giant dropped down. He looked around, and said, "He's only Level 1, but he did this much damage huh? He's a Second-Class probably." (Daniel)
The giant walked up to me, followed by the rest of his friends, "Hello Kevin, I don't know if you can understand me or not, but this is no dream. Welcome to Traversa, the World of Crossings. And welcome, to the Village of Beginnings." (Daniel)
Authors Notes
Hey Guys, I've been working on rewriting this guy, and I'm posting this side story to let you know this. I'll upload the rewritten Prologue today. But I don't know about the rest, I've been pretty bust as of late after all. I've got a lost of important tests coming up, and I just finished my research paper. But I'm not dead, just don't expect a lot.

Epilogue
Revised version now available! Amazon paperback, ebook, audiobook, Kobo, B&N, Google In the war-torn land of Cyraveil, four heroes strove to overthrow an empire. By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. As the flames died, the realm needed strong leadership, and who better than the champions who had saved the kingdom? But when the people sought out their saviors... they vanished. Matt, Blake, Jen, and Carl: the four mysterious companions, who together had deposed an insane ruler and saved countless lives, were gone—spirited back in a whirlwind of magic to a sleepy suburb in Mellbridge, Oregon, never to return. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. The Waterborne - Blasphemous Series
Gamelit / LITRPG Elements are common in this novel. Some say a single action can't change anything. But what if you add another action? And another one? At one point, you would have to agree that a single action can change a person's life. When a young woman is plagued by a mental illness, only a benevolent god can give her a deal worth taking. Living again in another world where underwater monsters, rebellious factions and ancient artefacts are common place, we will have to see, just how much a single action can change things. Updated M - W - S (During the editing / rewriting process, updates are postponed.) This novel is a part of the Blasphemous Series, which can be read in any order, I recommend new readers start with this novel.
