"Impressive. But let's see what good your regeneration is against this!" (Saphiel)
Driving his blade into the ground the general then lifted both hands towards the sky. His powerful white wings allowing him to ascend. Sensing the powerful magic accumulating around the general Lilium changed all of her blood tools into large round shields. However they were no match for what came next. Hundreds of spears made of light appeared above Lilium. Without warning they rained down upon her. For every one she dodged or blocked, two hit her.
Suddenly a scream erupted from Lilium. When she looked down she knew it was over. Her heart had been pierced. The light spears suddenly stopped. The general slowly strode towards her. His sword in hand he raised it so as to end her. However behind him Lilium saw the rest of the commanders. Knowing at the very least they could repel him she had a smile on her face.
"You lost." (Lilium)
Then the blow came.

"What happened to the other commanders?" (Gernam)
Lilium shrugged.
"At this point your guess is as good as mine. I haven't had any contact with the guild sense my death." (Lilium)
The pair walked together silently with Habbron following a good distance behind so as to give the two some privacy. After a short while Lilium broke the silence. A grin stretching across her face.
"So, Lucifer, when did you start going exclusively by the family name?" (Lilium Gernam)
The lich shot her a glare.
"You know why. And I'll know if you tell anyone. So I better not hear Darren mention my first name. For he won't be the one to face the repercussions." (Lucifer Gernam)
The usually empty eye sockets of the lich flashed red. Lilium shivered and shrunk back. Though she was powerful she was but a candle to a bonfire when compared to her brother when he was serious.

After another five minutes of walking they came across a full metal door. The only feature on the door was the simple handle. The siblings looked at each other. With a nod Lilium kicked open the door. In a moment a dwarf covered in blood wielding a battle axe and covered in blood, charged out swinging blindly. Lilium moved in to strike him down but Gernam intercepted and caught both her fist and the dwarfs axe.
"NIGEL CALM YOURSELF!" (Gernam)
The dwarf was breathign heavily. Adrenaline pumping through his body. Gernam leaned to the side to peer into the cell. Blood was everywhere. The two would be torturers used to paint the room sanguine.
"What happened?" (Gernam)
A grin appeared on the dwarf's face.
"The bastards unbound me to try to put me in that torture chair. They thought i was still out of it. So when one of them go to close I hit his head so hard with mine he musta been seein stars for a little while. I then took his axe and used to mince his friend. By the time he came to it was already to late for him." (Nigel)
Gernam looked at his friend in disbelief. He never would have guessed his simple friend capable of such brutality.
"Hoho someone had a party." (Darren)
Nigel and Gernam's group turned to see Darren and his group. The scientist waved at his friends. Looking at Nigel he gave a relieved smile.
"Glad to see your okay." (Darren)
Urvos looked at the blood covered dwarf and then at the room behind him.
"This is why I stopped taking you hunting with me." (Urvos)
"It's fine rocks were more fun to smash anyway. HAHA" (Nigel)
The dwarves shared a hearty laugh.
"Ready to go?" (Darren)
Everyone nodded in affirmation. Nigel then lifted his staff and uttered something incomprehensible. A black portal opened up in front of the group.
The group then entered one by one leaving behind a destroyed facility.

I post at least once a week. I cannot promise you a story you enjoy reading, but I can promise you a story I enjoy writing. Thank you. ------------------------------------------ The sword is greater than a simple weapon; an answer to life's questions. An extension of thine master's hand, guided by wrist. Care it not whether guilty or innocent blood shed, for be it a mere edge, a weapon. For blade that forgets or refuses to cut be shameful, meaningless, disgraceful. Nay, be it considered a tool at all? What dost the weapon do when the steel hath no guide, that the master hath mingled far? Doth it Stay? Perhaps quiver at possibility, the loss of reason for existence? Or does it go forth into the unknown, guided by merely the wind and the edge? A wandering sword, a phantom blade- A lone Samurai. ------------------------ Credit to Nicklas Gustaffson for the image. I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
