Chapter 2:

It's been 6 months since I was born and started to train. Today I want to do something different than training all day. Today I will crawl to my mother and say mama. I waited until mother came into the room to feed me. She sat on the bed besides the cradle and picks me up and sets me on the bed. She starts to pull down her shirt, that's when I crawled to her and said "Mama."

Her eyes widen and tears came down her cheek. She then screams " HONEY COME HERE!" My father starts to run into the room and asks " What's wrong Lisa!" She replies saying " Astin just crawled to me and said mama. HE SAID MAMA! I'm so happy and proud of my genius son." My father then screams " WHAT! He called you mama! Astin call me dada please." He looks at me with sparkly eyes. I say "Dada." to make my father happy. His eyes widen and he starts to grin while he picks me up and hugs me.

After a few more minutes of happiness my mother fed me and let me sleep. Ever since I crawled and said her name, she started to allow me to wander around the house. I started crawling around to check the rooms out and try to find information about the world. My house has 4 rooms other than the living room, kitchen and washroom. It had my bedroom, my parents bedroom, a tiny library and a room that is locked. I went into the library and looked for a history book. My parents were poor and didn't have many books but at least they had a history book.

The title of the book was " History of the Aelius Continent" The name of the continent came from the sun god, Aelius. It was said that the sun god Aelius was born in the Aelius Continent and reached the god level in it. While I was reading my father found me and said " Astin you want to read this? I will read it to you." So my father started reading out to me.

He said " This is the continent we live on. There were 6 great empires the Heaven Wolf Empire, Royal Dragon Empire, Divine Empire, Blood Empire, Sprit Empire and finally the Nirvana Empire. There was a 3 way war where the Royal Dragon Empire sided with the Divine Empire, Heaven Wolf Empire with the Blood Empire and the Sprit Empire with the Nirvana Empire. Eventually the Royal Dragon Empire and Divine Empire won the war. The Empires combined to create the Kalise Empire. The other 4 Empires followed suit afterwards. The Heaven Wolf Empire and Blood Empire created the Storm Empire and the Sprit Empire combined with the Nirvana Empire to create the Mitha Empire. These are the 3 super power Empires of current times. There is no discrimination of races in the continent and Empires and we currently reside in the Kalise Empire. We use the currency stone, copper, silver, gold, diamond and finally golden diamond. 10 stone makes 1 copper, 10 copper makes 1 silver and it goes on like this. Most families survive on 10 silver a year. Our family survives on 8 silver a year. "

It took me a while to process all this information. We are poorer than the average family I already guessed that. The Aelius continent by itself is twice the size of the Pangaea of Earth. I just realized how big the world is, and this is just the beginning of my journey. My father started to explain about different things. One of the things he said is that the royal family of all Empires have a royal bloodline and it is the strongest bloodline in the empire. This is why they are the royal family. Father said the royal family of the Kalise Empire has the Phoenix Bloodline which gives them Phoenix flames and extreme regeneration. After explaining a bit more he left.

I proceeded onwards to find books on the pathways to strength and occupations of this world. I found a book titled " Introduction to Occupations and Paths to strength" I opened the book and read what it has pathways and occupations. There is 2 paths which you can choose, the fighting path and the Utility path, most people choose 1 occupation from the Utility path and 2 occupations from the fighting path. The Utility path is blacksmiths, pill concocters, alchemists, etc. The fighting path has 8 main paths and many minor ones, the major paths are magic, qi, gifts, body/soul, sprits, heavenly god paths, familiar/ beast contractor and formations master.

Magic and qi both have 10 ranks in each rank there are levels which are is initial, mid, peak, perfect and if you use a secret manual like the cosmetic manual which was never found, you can reach the ascended stage which is two times stronger or more than perfect. Gifts don't really have ranks you just train them until you break through the Unrestrained Imagination stage which is where the gift takes the shape of your wishes and stays like that and does not abide to the rules of the universe. You have to evolve it afterwards. Body/Soul, sprit, heavenly god path, familiar/beast contract and finally the formations master all have the same ranks as magic and qi.

Body/Soul trains the body and soul to be much stronger than any other path. Anyone can take this path even if they don't have talent as it takes only hard work to train the body and soul.

A Sprit is a manifestation of a power or form of your soul. It can gain sprit abilities but only at 3rd rank. This is made so people will train to use their sprits and not only its sprit abilities. The 3rd rank is called the unbound stage. there are two types of sprits the merge sprits, sprits that merge with your body like beast sprits and body sprits. The other one is the usage sprit where someone uses it for example a sword. Cultivators can merge with their usage sprits at 6th rank which is called the merge stage.

The heavenly god path trains your reflexes and lets you use heaven power. Heaven power can control swords, puppets and can also destroy and create. This path increases your regeneration speed each rank you advance eventually making it so you regenerate from only blood faster than the Phoenix and its bloodline. There are different paths in this path or different methods of training. Some are weaker than the others and the way to train it is harder and more painful. The stronger ones require talent while the weaker ones require endurance, patience and hard work. The strongest one is the Elementalist Path. The world has 2 suns and 4 moons. A sun and moon are different than the rest. The sun is called the Elementalist Flare Star and the moon is called the Elementalist Shine star. They look like all the elements I have combined into a star. The path is extremely hard to train and requires talent. The amount talent you have for it is decided when you form tatoos on your body from the Elementalist Star and Moon. The type of tatoo decides it. You then use the powers of the tatoo. You then gain low affinities to all these elements.

The familiar/beast contractors train a little different. They can summon and contract up to 3 familiars. These familiars have their own traits and grow with the contractors. They also summon beasts which they contract with so the beasts fight for them, the higher the rank the stronger the beasts. When they reach 5th rank they can combine with their beasts to gain their skills, abilities and traits.

The formations master can only be learnt by people with sealing energy. People with this energy appear 1 out of every 10,000 people. It lets them create formations which can create fire, ice, water, etc. It can also create illusions and barriers. You can use it on yourself to amplify your strength, speed, teleport you somewhere, etc. The energy can also be used to spread out to observe your surrounding and notice things others can't and locate treasures. The higher your rank the better your observation skills are. They are feared most because of this detection power. Most formations masters take the blacksmith occupation because they can undergo a variant of it, spiritual blacksmith. This lets them create special items such as growing swords, soul bound swords, etc. They put formations on to the items to give them special properties. These items are worth a lot in the market and formations masters can be the richest people.

After reading the book, it felt like an information overload. I also learned another interesting thing. I had affinities to all the elements possible to have. The other affinities only come when they come from sprits, gifts, bloodlines, blessed bodies and from what race you are. They have to be innate. For example you can't learn Phoenix fire, only people with its bloodline or race can use it. As for gifts, sprits and sealing energy, they can only manifest when you test for your talents at the age 6, the same time I can turn into a Dragon at will. I wonder what my bloodline is, well I'll find out sooner or later.

After reading a little more, I went back to my cradle to train. This time when I was training I felt a bottleneck for both my magic and qi. I tried breaking through, but no matter what for both magic and qi I couldn't break through. So I started thinking of ways to break through. I then thought of a brilliant idea after a few minutes of thinking. I wanted to first breakthrough for magic so I started gathering all the elements into one point and condensing them. I then absorbed it to filter it to remove impurities and then further condensed it to the max. After I couldn't condense anymore mana I used it to attack and forcibly break through to the first rank. This creates a mana core submerged under a mana pool. The mana core contains my element affinities and the mana pool represents the amount of mana I have. My mana increased tremendously as before I didn't have a lot of mana. The lighter the mana the more pure it is and my mana in is transparent which means its the most pure mana.

I then did the same for qi and when I broke through I created a transparent qi ball which seemed like a sun and a rainbow qi ball which revolved around it in my dantian. The size of the transparent qi ball represents how much qi I have which increased by a lot and the colors of the rainbow qi ball represent the affinities I have. My qi ball was transparent so it was the purest form of qi like my mana.

The darker the colors of my rainbow qi ball and mana core, the better my affinities are. The affinity levels are low, mid, high, extreme and finally absolute which has absolute control of the element. My rainbow qi core looked like the Elementalist Flare Star and my mana core looked like the Elementalist Shine Star.

After breaking through in both magic and qi I felt both reinvigorated and tired. I felt much more powerful now then I was before and I can move my limbs much better. I rested a little before trying out the improvements. I can summon up much larger scales of magic and now I can cast spells. As for qi my body enchantment is much stronger and the elemental qi shows more properties and show it on a bigger scale. I crawled out of my cradle and out into my backyard. It was full of trees and I went near a thin one. I focused my elemental qi into my tail and then tried piercing the tree. My tail felt like it went through butter. Luckily my tail in not thick right now or else the tree would have toppled down on top of me. Next I tested the magic my using my elements. The magic doesn't have as much raw strength as qi but the affects of the elements were much more devastating. One whole tree was burned down by my fire magic but I quickly stopped it from spreading by using my water magic. After testing out my improvements a little more I went back to my cradle to sleep.
