(Spoiler Alert- Skip it and read the chapter first if you do not want any spoilers.)

Hi everyone, sorry for the late update. I had a hard time thinking about how to introduce and write this new character into the story. I had to rewrite and redo this chapter many times so please forgive me for the late update.Since Ruka has someone special, I thought Hikaru should have someone too! This chapter shows a different side to Hikaru beside his huge brother complex. I hope that you will love this chapter and my new character, Yumi as I do. Here's to all good girls with bad boys. Chapter 10 - Sweet Sly Seduction

In the student council room…

“Stupid president! He is late again for our meeting! And he was the one who called for this meeting on a saturday in the first place!” a serious looking girl with a long black ponytail wearing a black thick rim glasses grumbled.

“Vice president, calm down. Its only been 5 minutes. Maybe he was held up by the traffic?” A brown-haired youth said, as he tried to mediate the situation.

“Yamino-kun, stop trying to defend that frivolous president!” the vice president snapped back. Yamino smiled awkwardly as he backed away from the fierce looking vice president.

“Hi, guys! Sorry, I’m late.” Hikaru greeted as he burst through the door, with a sheepish grin on his face.

“President! If you cannot wake up so early in the morning, do not call for a meeting in the first place.” the vice president told Hikaru sternly.

“Yumi-san. Please forgive me. Its just 5 minutes.” Hikaru pouted as he said this.

“Eghh, fine. Here is your breakfast. I know you have not eaten anything this morning.” Yumi replied curtly, as she passed him a bento full of homemade tuna sandwiches, egg mayo sandwiches and nutella sandwiches.

“Mmmmm...My favourites! Thanks, Yumi-san!” Hikaru said, as he smiled warmly at Yumi.

“You’re...eh...Welcomed…” Yumi replied shyly, as she turned away hiding her blush from Hikaru.

The brown haired boy stared at this romantic scene in envy. Hikaru is obviously making Yumi-san blush on purpose. Everyday, a similar scene will occur and he, the secretary will get the front row seats to this romance comedy drama. This routine has been going on for months, it is very obvious that Yumi san likes Hikaru. However, Hikaru’s feelings for Yumi are a big mystery.

The meeting continued on for two hours where both Hikaru and Yumi suggested some ideas to benefit the lives of the students and performances for the year-end party.

“So is that all Yumi-san and Hikaru-kun?” Yamino-kun asked exhausted from the long discussion.

“Yup, we are done. Yamino-kun, you may leave first. Yumi-san and I will finish up the rest.” Hikaru smiled politely as he said this. Taking this as his cue to leave, Yamino bid goodbye and left the room quickly. Hikaru waited for a moment, making sure that Yamino was truly gone before he set his eyes back to Yumi.

“Yumi.” Hikaru called as he approached her desk. He looked deeply into her brown eyes as he moved nearer and nearer to her. Yumi blush beet-red, as she slowly backed away from him. This was not the first time Hikaru called her by name.Yumi was still deeply embarrassed by being addressed so intimately by her secret crush.

Like a predator stalking his prey, Hikaru moved slickly towards her as he directed a sly smirk at her that set butterflies off in her stomach. Yumi shifted her chair further back till her back was against the wall. Seeing her trapped against the wall and totally different from the normal calm-looking Yumi, made him burst out in laughter.

“Hikaru!!!” Yumi shouted while beet-red. She glared at Hikaru, as she tried to stand up from her seat. Hikaru just smirked and pushed her back into her seat.

“Yumi, you are so cute when you blush. I told you before that I will make you blush more often.” Hikaru said he sat in front of her on her desk.

“Egh! Hikaru, stop playing around.” Yumi snapped back a little annoyed, recalling that he did indeed said that the last time they were alone.

Hikaru snatched her glasses and wore them. Hikaru push them up the ridge of his nose with his middle finger like a veteran glasses wearer. The black rimmed rectangular specs made him look twice as handsome and like the tyrant he truly is. “Now. Now. Yumi, please say yes.” Hikaru cooed as he smiled suavely at her, making her melt in her seat.

“No...Hikaru...Stop…”Yumi gripped the arm of her chair as she protested weakly. She felt like it was a miracle for her to say no to the guy she loves so deeply. She quickly stood up and walked away, avoiding Hikaru’s gaze.

Hikaru immediately jumped to his feet in pursuit of her. Before Yumi could leave her desk, Hikaru cornered her at the wall placing both his hands at the side of her face. Their faces were just 10 inches apart and the distance was shortening every second. Yumi turned her face away in embarrassment.

Suddenly, Hikaru leaned in and whispered these words into her ears:“Yumi, stop running away. Please say yes, dear~” His lips almost touching her ear lobes, making her super aware of how close he is standing next to her.

“Ahhh~” Yumi moaned slightly shocked by the affectionate address of being called “dear” by her love interest. Yumi was being reduced to a mindless drone with that last surprise attack by Hikaru. She could not help but give in and say yes weakly.

“Alright! Thanks, Yumi! You are the best.” Hikaru smiled and kissed her cheek quickly before gathering his things to leave.

Yumi stared at Hikaru in disbelief and shock, as he left the room. She cannot believed that Hikaru just kissed her! She subconsciously touched the spot on her left cheek that was kissed by Hikaru’s soft lips and swooned. She collapsed back onto her chair as she giggled to herself.

“Yumi. I forgot to return this to you. Not that you really needed them in the first place.” Hikaru said sheepishly, snapping Yumi out of her trance. Hikaru gently place Yumi’s glasses back on. Yumi’s degree was about 100+ with a very mild case of myopia. She could see Hikaru very clearly even if he is standing 5 meters away from her. Without her glasses on, Yumi was even more beautiful. Her hazel brown eyes were no longer hidden by her glasses, making them larger than before.Those black rim spectacles were no longer concealing her beautiful facial features. She was mesmerising without those glasses, not that Hikaru will admit to her. Hikaru was the only one who have seen her without her spectacles on and he wants to remain as the only one who knows about Yumi’s real appearance. Least, he has more competition.

Yumi quickly tried to regain her composure and acted as that kiss was no big deal to her. She calmly took back her glasses and said: “Thank you for returning them to me. I will meet you later.”

“Yes, Yumi-san. Thanks and see you later, Yumi-san.” Hikaru smiled brightly and left to find Ruka.

“You and your games……” Yumi murmured to herself. Not that she can blame him, she too was guilty of being a hardcore gamer at times especially with the latest craze, Otherworlds.

Yumi first fell in love with Hikaru when they were in first year of high school. She tried various ways to show hints of her affections to Hikaru, but he seems to be giving her mixed signals. At times, Hikaru can be extremely nice to her, and at certain times he can be very indifferent to her. This made Yumi really confused by Hikaru. Especially today, when Hikaru acted so intimately with her. Calling her by her first name only, being so close to her that if she shivered, his lips would be kissing her ear lobes.

“If only I did……Oh Hikaru….”Yumi murmured dreamily.

Outside the student council room...

“I cannot believe I just did that!” Hikaru blushed red as he recalled all at embarrassing things he just did to Yumi-san. He slumped down against the wall recalling Yumi’s cute reactions to his seduction.

It was indeed unfair for Hikaru to use such tricks to get Yumi to agree, but he had no other choice. After all, the plan has already been set in motion.

Later at night in Otherworlds...

Taiyo leaned against the wall of the library underneath the lamp staring at the rainbow fountain in the centre of the square. Having leveled up swiftly from defeating various monsters around Inceptio, Taiyo was no longer dressed in his beginner clothes. He was dressed in full black with his new drops from defeating the band of black wolves in the nearby forest of ash. Taiyo looked extremely cool in his new outfit with his black leather boots, black pants, black shirt and shiny black arm guards with red stripes at the end that covered his entire forearm till his elbow showing only his fingers. His outfit was complete with black armour coat with buckles around his neck and waist. The coat was a rare drop from defeating the black wolves’ boss which was not easy to defeat. Taiyo spent the whole afternoon leveling up and spent half an hour trying to defeat the black wolves’ boss after hearing a rumour that the drop is this cool black coat. He has someone that he had to impress no matter what.

Standing in the moonlight, Taiyo looked liked a dark angel as he stared at the crescent moon in the purple night sky filled with countless stars. It was a very beautiful night, not many people were in this part of town, beside some couples on a night stroll. The noisy town square at night was transformed into a dating hot spot featuring the beautiful fountain lighted up with various colours with the starry night sky as its backdrop.

“Where is she?” Taiyo grumbled annoyed as he tries to ignore the lovey-dovey atmosphere in the air. He felt very out of place in this lovers environment as a lone male. Taiyo could not help but be jealous of them. He had been waiting for her for the last 30 minutes and he was very frustrated.

“Sorry for the wait...” A cute girl apologised as she tried to catch her breathe. She was wearing a white kimono top tucked into her red pleated, short skirt paired with black boots and black socks that reached her mid thigh. The girl has large brown deer eyes and full lips that make men want to kiss her senseless. She was dressed very differently from her usually conservative knee long skirt and dull black glasses. However, Taiyo recognised her from first sight.

“Yumi……” Taiyo breath out in a daze. He wanted to pinch himself to see if he was dreaming. His quiet and conservative Yumi was dressed so sexily and cute. His anger dispersed the moment he saw Yumi.

“Call me Yuyi in the game. So… How do I look?” Yumi blushed as she made a turn for Taiyo to see.

“You...look nice.” Taiyo replied, blushing slightly as he looked everywhere but at her.

“Look at me, Hikaru!” Yumi pouted as she said this.

Taiyo had no choice but to look at her directly, revealing his blushing face. Yuyi smiled secretly to herself knowing that her new look bothers Hikaru so much. Although it was still embarrassing to wear such a short skirt, it was worth it to get a bit of revenge on Hikaru.

As Hikaru was trying to avoid Yuyi's gaze, He noticed some of the men in the town square were openly checking out Yuyi (Yumi) and looking at her with lust. Taiyo was getting a bit frustrated, as Yumi was completely oblivious to their malicious intentions. Taiyo could not stand Yumi being the fantasy of other man and grabbed her hand possessively and pulled her into the library...
