《Isekaid Friendship》Chapter 3

I look around the field, which is tainted with blood. I count the bodies. Two people dead and one unconscious. Then I see Cristian going up to the bodies and kneeling forward. I walk over to him. “It’s hard isn’t it, killing someone and living with the guilt that comes with it. But don’t worry if you need me, I’ll be there, cause that’s what friends do.” I say to him while I put my hand on his shoulder. Wait what’s he doing with that corpse? It can’t be… Is he pickpocketing the damn corpse? “Dudes have a little respect for the deceased.” I shout at him. “Why should I? Also, we need equipment so why shouldn’t we take it from the guys who were going to eat us.” Cristian states while taking a pouch of the corpse. “Dude we where dead a few hours ago and now you’re pickpocketing corpses. Andy, please say something…” I shout at Andy and then I see him taking something from under the woman’s skirt. “Andy is that woman even dead?” I ask. “Well, her heart was beating last time I checked her. Besides I need her panties for my collection.” Andy declares.
I just have no words for these idiots. “Well, I’ll collect the stuff from the guy I slaughtered as well.” I just say. “Also, why the hell are your horns glowing?” Cristian asks. Then he smirks “Wait are you getting hornier or is that just me?” “Yeah, not those horns didn’t look that big before.” Andy says while staring at my small horns. “You perverts.” I just state and I go back to pickpocketing the corpse.
After about fifteen minutes we all put the stuff, we’ve gained from the pickpocketing together to see what equipment we got out of it. We’ve got one dagger, one pair of iron gauntlets, one sword, a map, a weird gem, a pouch with a bit of gold in it which is probably used as currency and a pair of panties for Andy’s collection. “The dagger is mine.” Cristian states taking the dagger and putting it into his pocket. “Can I use the gauntlets?” Andy asks immediately after. “Yeah of course you can.” I reply. “Then you take the sword glowy horns.” Cristian says in a jokingly manner. “That was the best you could come up with. Glowy horns?” I just ask while taking the sword. “I mean it fits better with your new appearance then Louis.” Cristian boldly exclaims. “Says the Christian ferret.” I say, knowing that he takes part in only one religion. “I only worship Souru and you know that.” Cristian immediately states. “Well, I noticed when you told me that she had big boobs.” I say while getting a little frustrated. “Come on man, did you have to say that?” Cristian asks me. “Well maybe we should just all get new names.” Andy states after a few minutes of silence. “Well, if we would keep our old one’s people would get suspicious because of them, so I agree.” I speak. “Okay as long as the names don’t suck, I’m fine with it.” Cristian agrees. “Do these corpses have nametags or something?” I ask. “No, they didn’t. Why though?” Andy asks. “Well so we could take inspiration from those and make them not sound as foreign.” I explain. “Damnit.” Cristian exclaims a little loudly. “Wait… Wasn’t the woman unconscious? We could wait until she comes by and ask her the names of her and her companions.” I state. “And you think she’s going to tell us?” Cristian asks skeptically. “If we threaten her life she will.” I say looking at the sword.

An hour or two later she finally comes by. Before that we restrained her of course, so she wouldn’t be able to escape. “What… Where am I?” she asks before trying to break free of the ropes we made of the clothes of the corpses. “You’re currently at our mercy. A few hours ago, you and your gang tried to kill and eat us I guess so we killed them. The only reason you’re alive is because we need something from you.” I explain calmly. “I’d rather rot in the depths of hell than give you anything.” she shouts. “Well, that’s a little too late because we’ve already taken something.” Andy says while waving the panties around. She stops trying to free herself from her restrains and begins to blush. “So, are you going to get out of here with your bra or do we have to rip it from your body before you tell us?” I ask after seeing that embarrassing her works wonders.
“I will never.” she says and pouts. “Alright, friends you know what to do.” I say and I step back for a bit. About a minute pass and I hear the woman scream that she’s going to tell us anything, as long as they stop. I walk back and see the ravage that the idiots have created. The woman who’s almost fully exposed is crying. “Well, I planned to chop of your feet if you didn’t listen, but this also works and is a little less messy. So, you’re willing to give us what we need.” I ask, trying to act tough. “Yes, just please let them stop.” she pleads. “Alright boys step back a bit.” I command. They step back. Cristian has a bra on his head and Andy’s still waving the panties around.

“So would you be kind enough to tell the names of you and your companions.” I just ask. “If that’s all then yes. I’m Oroka, I was with Nõshi, Sukeba and Tachi. Is that all?” Oroka asks. “And what about this gem?” I ask. “I wouldn’t know, the boss just wanted it. Can you now please let me go?” Oroka pleads. “Don’t you dare tell anyone about this.” I say as I cut her restrains. Before I put my sword away though, I give her a cut in her hand. “This is just a friendly reminder not to mess with us.” I say and she runs away. I put the sword back into its holster and turn to my friends. “All by all, that went well. Now we get to the names.” I say to both of them. “What about Atsu?” Andy asks. “No that doesn’t really sound like you.” I tell him as I sit down on the grass. “Maybe something like Danji?” Andy asks again as he comes to sit down with me. “Actually, that’s pretty good Danji.” I tell Andy, using his new name to show my approval. “Let’s go.” Danji shouts. “What if I’d call myself Ikattef?” Cristian asks. “It works in my opinion.” I just tell him. “Welcome to the club Ikattef.” Danji says. “Then I’ll be called Segate!” I shout while jumping up. Ikattef and Danji start laughing. “What?” I ask. “It works I guess.” Ikattef replies. “Alright then, let’s go to the closest city." I speak.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. Intercessor
"In my defense, I hadn't actually been trying to get hit by a truck." Artemis wakes up alone in a giant futuristic facility with no hint of where she is, how she got here, or what this means. Yet within two weeks, she is shot at with all the guns, a voice is beginning to speak in her head, and she is tormented by a seemingly sentient and possibly trollish space Roomba. Her only hope is Scarlet, another girl who is a complete stranger and almost shot her in the head. Oh, and she has fox ears and a tail. That is possibly worth mentioning. Artemis is not a nerd. She has never heard of the isekai genre, she can't fight worth a damn, and the blue-collar skills she learned at her community college are absolutely useless in a universe where technology is often indistinguishable from magic. She only has one thing going for her: A mysterious ability to interface with highly advanced technology left behind by the Antecessors, the long lost precursor civilization with technology that no one has been able to adequately replicate. Finding herself in a universe where civilizations are locked in an interstellar Cold War, where societies are so stratified that the aristocracy commands fleets of starships while slaves wash clothes with their hands, Artemis decides to run away from it all. She has a ship. She'll find a crew. She'll find a way to make a living at the fringes of civilization, learn how to cope with danger, and survive the affections of a universe where everyone is a cute girl with animal ears and tails.
