《Isekaid Friendship》Chapter 11

It’s beginning to get a bit late. Me and Danji have been planning out the safest road to nearest big City. Then I hear the door opening and see that Ikattef has returned. He doesn’t seem to have anything on him though. He walks over to us and takes a seat. “No luck?” I ask, a bit curious. “No, the opposite. I just won a bidding war on a Bone Slicer. One of the best Epic daggers there are.” Ikattef says as he pulls out a dagger about the size of my hand. Its blade looks really sharp, and its blade has a black color. “And where is the other equipment I asked for?” I ask getting a little anxious. “What other equipment? I just said that I won a bidding war, it took me all of our money to get this thing. But don’t worry it’ll be worth it, I think.” He says all proud. The only thing I can do is sigh.
“Are you completely insane?” I just ask. “What do you mean? He just bought the coolest dagger ever.” Danji says. “He was supposed to get something for all of us, that was a bit better than what we had now. Not just get something for himself.” I say as I begin to get a little angry at this selfish idiot. “In my defense, it’ll make my Shadow Step even more effective.” Ikattef states. “That doesn’t mean that it justifies it.” I speak. “Whatever man, let’s show him our progress.” Danji says. “Alright then. We’re going to Okiichi City next. Me and Danji have planned an entire road to that place.” I explain.
“That sounds good but I’m hungry now.” Ikattef says. “Alright I’ll get us some food that isn’t expensive, so we still have a bit of money left.” I speak. Not too long after I say that Gaima comes walking up to us. “I’ll be your waitress today. Here is our menu. If you’d like anything then just say my name and I’ll be there.” She says smiling at us. Damn she looks good. I take the menu and go to the cheapest dinner there is. It’s the meat loaf with cabbage. “Gaima.” I whisper and she comes walking over. “So, what would you like to order?” She asks while looking at me. “Three Meat loafs with Cabbage and a room please.” I ask as politely as I can. She bends over a little and comes closer to me. “Then that will be 24 Jins and 1 Shiru please.” She whispers to me. I begin to thrill for a bit. I quickly give her the money and she slowly walk away again. I just sigh out of relief. “It looks like someone has the hots for Gaima.” Ikattef says. “Says the Souru simp.” I snap back. He shuts up. We silently wait until our food is ready for consumption.

After a bit we get our food. We start eating the dish. “Now I get why no one comes here.” Danji says as he pricks in his Meat Loaf. “It isn’t that bad.” I say while taking another bite. “Come on, back me up Ikattef.” Danji asks. “I think it is okay.” Ikattef says. “Whatever, it doesn’t matter because you probably won’t eat it again soon. Just know that tomorrow we go at sunrise.” I tell them. “Fine, fine let’s just eat and be happy.” Ikattef says. We eat the rest of our food in peace. After we stop eating, we leave the table for the stairs. “What room did you get, because you haven’t told us.” Danji asks me. I look at the key Gaima gave me. It has the number 0 on it. “We have room 0.” I say a bit confused. It should be on the first floor, right?” Ikattef asks. “I guess.” I just say as we get to the first floor. We walk around but there doesn’t seem to be any rooms with the number 0 on it. Until we get to the end of the hall, which has one more door. It’s the door we were searching for. I stop before opening the door. “What are you waiting for? Open it.” Ikattef asks. I sigh.
I open the door. It leads to a ginormous room. It has a colorful room, with ten beds in it, all in different colors. Then I see four women coming out of another door. “Shit.” Danji says as the women notice us. Then their eyes start lighting up. One materializes a halberd out of thin air and attacks me with it. I barely dodge her as I bump into my friends. We fall out of the room, but the woman is not done with us. But before she can hit us though, Ikattef closes the door with his tail. “Thank god for that tail.” I speak. But then the door gets opened. “At least I didn’t get us killed this time.” Danji says accepting our fate again. Then I see the halberd coming down. “Hetta you can stop taunting and start asking questions.
“Come on did you see the face of that guy? Totally worth it. Then I look up and see that the halberd hovering above my chest. Then it disappears. “What in the actual fuck was that?” I ask myself. “Shouldn’t I be asking the question?” She asks. “You sure?” Ikattef then asks her. “Yes, I’m pretty sure of that. And if you have objections you can talk to the halberd.” She says as she materializes it again. “Okay you get to ask the questions.” He finally gives in. She dematerializes it again. Then she goes back into the room. “Come in now.” She says demanding. Then she sits down on a bed, crossing her legs. “So why did you come here?” Hetta asks. “Well… we bought a room here again and Gaima gave us the key to room 0.” I explain. “Gaima? That explains a lot…” another elf says in a thinking manner. “Can I ask a question now?” I ask Hetta. “You can.” She says with a straight face. “How did you summon that halberd?” I ask curiously. “That was an Arcane construct. It’s something you create with a spell and is special for everyone. You’ll probably be able to learn that some day.” She explains. Then the door opens and Gaima walks in. She looks over to Hetta and the other women, then at me and my friends. “Sis’ why are these three in our room?” She asks a little confused. “Because someone was too distracted to give their customers the right key.” Hetta says. “No, that can’t be true, I always-” She stops when she looks at the key in her hand. Then she comes up to me and slips the key in my hand. “You don’t need to give it back, keep it as a reminder of me.” She says with a small smile. “T-thanks I guess.” I say with a nervous smile. “You know that this is our room too, right?” One of the elves asks Gaima. “Shut up.” Gaima snaps back. “Now you three can go, so we can finally change.” Hetta instructs. Then I finally notice, they were only wearing underwear. I reach out behind me to cover the eyes of Ikattef and Danji, close my own eyes and slowly walk out of the room. Once I feel like we’re out of the door I open my eyes and close it immediately.

“What did we just get ourselves into?” I ask both of them. “I don’t know but what I do know is that Hetta was wearing black undies.” Ikattef says. “Wait you knew we were attacked by elves in underwear?” I ask him. “Of course, I did, didn’t you?” He asks me. “No, I was focused on a magical halberd that was trying to decapitate us.” I state a little frustrated. “Should we try to peek?” Danji asks. “Good idea.” Ikattef agrees. “Can’t we just go to our room before we actually get decapitated?” I ask them. “Sounds kind of lame.” Danji says. “I just pick him up and start heading up the stairs. “Ikattef you better be following me or else I’ll kill someone.” I say a little frustrated. Then I look at the key Gaima gave me. It has the number 43 on it. We head up to the 4th and final floor of this place and find room 43. I go inside with Danji still in my hands and Ikattef follows me. The room is an exact copy of room 30. I put Danji in bed. “Could you stop now?” Danji asks. Then I close the door and lock it. “I won’t be going to sleep until you guys are sleeping. So good night.” I say as I blow out a candle. Then I sit myself comfortably right in front of the door and I start waiting for them to sleep.
