《Reincarnate: Avolved (ABANDONED)》03 - Something You Just Can't Remember Right

John looks at the hole in the cement wall that was created by the person named Charles Green. The rubble that almost falls off from the top of the hole now falls as the rumbling of explosions from the bombing of either the UFE or China. But it mattered not to John, as he resets his newest weapon back onto his back.
The reason for his armor being the black it is, and with the glowing tattoo energy all over his body is due to the Phorium and Varisum alloy he created while Charles was busy with his own project. The Hiltzirium metal was the most precious metal to obtain however, and through backwater connections he gathered enough to create his own miniature thermal fusion reactor, that could melt any metal except for Hiltzirium.
The reason why he wanted a reactor that could melt any metal was because he needed a way to repair his own body in case he received some form of damage to his infrastructure or armor. The nanobots were his armor and repair crew, so he needed them desperately for the worst case scenario.
Although getting used to his new body was the first priority on his long checklist. John quickly ran a diagnostics check on his new body, and noticed nothing popping up as a bad thing to his body. He designed it himself, after all. It was meant to be able to channel extreme amounts of energy around the body, much like blood in the human body.
Although the glowing lines along his body were something he didn’t expect at all. Varisum had an unexplainable effect on his outward appearance, and he damn well liked his new look.
John then realized that he left his emoticons on, and he quickly turned off the annoying emotion projector. The screen no longer lit up, and he could take a sigh of relief. If he had lungs, that is.
He begins to look around with his sensors, his new head turning just like that of a human’s head. Since he wanted to resemble a human, he went with the option to focus the sensors like eyes to only in front of him. It was his body to create after all.
“Hmm… nothing to see here. I best find the shitty excuse of a government and mark another thing off my checklist.”
John mutters in his armor, not knowing he speaks through the stereo he installed just for him to enjoy music at the expense of others. He begins to jump off the pedestal he raised his new body on, and realizes he hasn’t practiced at all in his new body.
Gravity begins to work against him, his number one nemesis.
He falls face first towards the floor, and his visor hits the ground first. No signal of pain registers in John as he has turned off any receptors in his body a long time ago, during the construction process. But John realizes that he will continue to make mistakes on the level of a blond, and he turns on the pain receptors in his body to allow him to smoothly get used to his body.

John activates the hover function in his body, and two discs detach from his back, the black circles with blades of Hiltzirium and Varisum alloy shining just slightly. Apparently the combination of Varisum and another alloy allows different glowing affects. The two discs position themselves right where John had his shoulders beforehand, waiting for the command.
John takes note of this odd occurrence and sends the command over to the hovering discs. He begins to hover thanks to the two discs hovering just above him, the magnetism applied by the discs onto his body acting similar to that of a pulley.
With gravity resisting, John takes a few minutes to get back up. When the discs make contact with his back, they merge with his armor, as they were once part of the armor before.
He shifts forwards slightly because of gravity, but he moves his leg forwards to catch his fall, thus breaking out of gravity’s embrace. The sound of his body settling onto the ground reaches his sensors, and he then disengages the ‘human focus’ sensor, no longer relying on it.
John then begins to test his motor skills. The suspensions in his body balance according to his positioning, and he begins to step forward with one foot at a time. This takes enough time to cause the sun’s position to shift and more bombs to fall, but John designed his body to be self-sustaining, not even needing oil on the metals in the suspension system.
After an hours’ worth of walking, John then begins to get used to running around the shop, passing by the hole in the wall to see the carnage made by the other countries.
“I need to hurry; my revenge may not get a chance to be appeased.”
John stops running and looks out the building, to see a wasteland of craters and one silver-green man lying in a crater. The buildings in the distance look abandoned, a sure sign of bombs already going towards the capital of the American homeland.
John turns towards the hole in the wall, and begins to run to it, the ground shaking slightly at his overweighed body. He steps on rubble sometimes, instantly pulverizing it with his sheer weight. He reaches the hole in the wall, and grabs onto the ledge with his arm, his grip causing cracks to run through the entire bottom section of the wall.
Vaulting over the bottom of the wall, he lands outside on the soil of a small garden. John looks around, an action that seemed human-like, despite his choice of switching off his ‘human focus’ sensors.
John doesn’t run though, as he stays still for only a moment.
“Gaia Form, active.”
John’s voice echoes out from his body speakers as he reaches his arms behind him, getting on to his knees in the process.

The head of John’s body begins to elongate slightly, showing a more animalistic appearance, one of a cat’s or a wolf’s head. The visor only lengthens, and his head develops a jaw, with black teeth to match. His body begins to narrow, his limbs becoming longer near the shoulder, and near his hips. The armor nanobots begin to crawl all over his body, beginning to form the armor necessary for this form.
The shining lines stay the same as they were on his humanoid figure, and as where his butt was, now protruded a tail of sorts, with one of the discs attached to it. His hands and feet disappear, and in the place of them his arms and legs are attached to discs bigger in size then last time, the glowing lines along the outer edge of the discs forming a tread.
This was one of four forms that John chose when considering the specs of his customized body. He wanted to be able to travel fast on land, and this was his answer.
The Gaia Form; his term for it at least.
He begins the initial stages of practice, wanting to perfect the movements of his new body type. John didn’t find the way of the quad-legs any easier than a human body, and soon night fell. Yet he was able to master the walking and running of four legs, and began to head towards the explosions in the night sky.
The perfect time to move towards his goal at the top of his checklist; Revenge.

Meanwhile, in a trench
***************************
“Damn, this war is taking forever. Was the Chancellor right that the United States was going towards world domination?”
“Dude, shut it. This is the UFE we are talking about. There could be eyes and ears everywhere…”
“Yeah, but all this waiting for some super weapon or something to show up is killer on my ass.”
Silence ensues as the two soldiers on watch look out of the bunker trench set up on the outskirts of the city, away from the main battlefield. Wearing the navy blue of the UFE, they blended in with the darkness around them, the torches showing the entrance to the bunker trench broke that advantage.
The soldier on the left of the entrance sighs, and the other one begins to rummage in his pocket.
His curiosity piqued the soldier on the left looks over at the one on the right.
“What the hell are you doing, Henry?”
“Huh? Well, I’m searching for a joint to puff.”
“Seriously? What if you get caught?”
“George, don’t be a hard ass, we are on lookout right now, and we have plenty of hours to let the high pass.”
“Well, if you say so.”
The quiet hour comes and goes as the smoke from their huffing and puffing rises into the air. George and Henry are giggling like little school girls, laughing at all the things they did wrong in training camp.
“And that’s when I told him he shouldn’t have dropped the soap!”
“HA! I don’t know why, but that’s hilarious! Henry, you are a gifted comedian.”
“Thanks George, you da man.”
They are sitting on the wall opposite of the entrance to their bunker, the torches reflected in their hazy eyes. George barely gets a turn to puff the joint as Henry was hogging the little bundle of laughter. George’s gaze begins to wander around, and he slowly stands up to look up and over the trench wall.
He freezes suddenly, and Henry looks up at George standing.
“Dude, what are you doin? Get back to this joint.”
“Ah.. yeah, I’ll do that.”
George slowly walks back to their wall and he slides down onto his butt, his uniform dirty from pressing against the edge of the trench. He reaches out to the joint and begins to smoke it like there was no tomorrow.
Henry begins to worry a little at George’s behavior.
“Dude, leave me some…”
The sound of metal falling brings their eyes forward, to a huge black sleek animal with lines glowing all along it’s body. The sound of it hissing can be heard, and a gust of warm air engulfs them.
They close their eyes to the hot air, and when they open them, the big animal is gone. Only huge straight dents are left behind in the dirt.
Henry begins to laugh hysterically, his arms clutching his stomach.
George looks at the spot the thing was, then looks back at the joint in his hand.
“I’m done, so done with this.”
George hands the joint back to the original owner, and walks back to his post, the haze in his eyes no longer there. Henry continuous to sit to the opposite of his post, still laughing.
“Haha! George, George! I just saw a fuckin unicorn! Haha!”
Henry continues to laugh until he is caught by his superior in the morning.Emoticon MayhemSomething A Bot Has To Miss------------------------------------------------------
