As he lay Tarraon to the bed,Chris was feeling down.He thought there was a better way,but couldn't come up with it.He sacrificed too many things,and he felt like he didn't have much chance.He didn't feel confident like he was at past.He swore,he promised himself and the others.So no matter what,he had to succeed.

He turned back,slowly going towards the door,his confidence slowly growing.No matter what,he had a goal to achieve,a goal which caused too many things to be destroyed and too many things to be restored.He couldn't let everything to be in a vain,he didn't want it to be a failure,so he stepped out.He started to feel more and more strong,like he was reaching new heights.

Then,he felt strange.The warm and calm power he felt was not something he knew.He lowered his head,then stood like that.He couldn't move himself anymore,nor he could think.Because,he was dead.A pitch black,long nailed hand pierced his left chest,taking out his heart.After a brief moment,hand withdraw and listless body of Chris dropped to the floor with a thud.

''This vessel is not strong.At least i can improve it a little.''Said a sinister voice.It was coming from the Tarraon,who was lying down.His both arms were no longer same,they became pitch black with long fingernails,looking like sharp daggers.Darkness slowly spread to his whole body,then lastly his head.After a whole minute,His body slowly trembled and stood up from the bed.He turned his head to the corpse of Chris,lying down with a blank look.

A small tear drop fell from his eye,making him more angry.''Damn,he can still understand?''Pitch black Tarraon said in a disgusting,sinister voice.He used both of his hands and pierced the head with long fingernails.Slowly,a white surge of mist got out of the head,slowly swirling around his fingernails.Using his powers he combined them,turning into a little body.

Little body was looking like Tarraon,which of course was a very small size.It deeply looked at 'Himself' and he also looked at the small mist.''This was the price?''Misty Tarraon asked.Black Tarraon nodded his head,and laughed creepily.Mist Tarraon looked towards the corpse,then to himself.He closed his eyes,and with a small boom destroyed last bits of his soul,completely disappearing from this world.

''I don't need him anyway.I've got a nice meal over here,so let me enjoy it.''Muttered Black Tarraon,and leaped on the corpse.After taking back the hand he shot out,he took the heart and directly swallowed it,licking his lips.Then directly wolfed down to the corpse,munching and biting at it furiously,like an hungry animal.

As east gate was charging towards the army of undeads,under the leadership of Old man,Northern gate was in a peril.East gate could be counted lucky,as the 2 weakest of the 8 were there.Northern gate was slowly falling apart,as nearly %30 of people at there were already killed.Most of the guards were 8th rank,while 4 vice captains were 7th rank.Guard leader was a man with 6th rank power,tasked with protecting mayor.So it was not suprising when Mid undeads attacked,they would be easily smashed.

''PREPARE ANOTHER BARRIER!ENCHANTERS USE HOLY RUNES!ELEMENTALS USE AREA ATTACKS TO FEND THEM OFF!''One of the vice captains,Faust,was leading the half scattered guards,trying to slow them down.In a normal occasion,no matter how much they came his fellow guardsmen would be able to stand their ground.But there was a 6th and one 5th rank undead directly supressing them.

One of them was a skeleton,a crown on it's head and a golden necklace.His necklace was flashing with Blue light while he sent volleys of ice spikes to pin the guards down.He was the 6th rank.Other one was a man with a horrifying scar.Scar came from his back and gone towards all way to his left leg.Everytime he shouted,tens of black butterflies emerge from the wound,directly flying towards the crowd.

These butterflies were as hard as steel,while they were small so it was hard to hit them.They could inflict a vicious poison called ''Crocodile''.This poison was a small mist,at the shape of a crocodile which could enter a person from his orifice.It corroded the inner organs,paralyzing the man.So one couldn't figure out early on.

The Light barrier they placed have already been shattered,so they had no protection from the poison.But that was not alone.Man sometimes would transform his limbs to tentacles,sweeping them like whips towards the crowd.They crackled like lightning and sent every person they hit flying.

Situation was getting worse and worse,while men were falling in despair.Suddenly,a huge power exploded behind the Guards,sending wild winds around the place.A pillar of earth rose from their back and at utmost speed slammed itself to the skeleton,directly sending it flying.Several more pillars rose,which directly darted towards the wounded corpse.Corpse lifted it's hands and created tentacles,sending them towards the pillars.As tentacles crushed and destroyed the pillars,another pillar rose under it,directly smashing to it's back.

Wounded corpse directly lost some green from his eyes,which recovered instantly.But some Holy power users among guards knew what it was.''It lost negative energy!What kind of an attack was that!''Exclaimed one of them,others looking with awe.Other than death aura,one also had to collect negative energy from surroundings to summon undead.Undeads could live forever unless their negative energy didn't delete.Also most of the mid and high ranked undeads are very hard to kill,because it was very hard to extract their negative energy.

But that attack succeeded it,showing the prowess of the user.A 30 meter long spike rose,slightly curved towards the graveyard.At the tip of it stood 4 people.A man with brown hair,a long mustache and a bit of beard.A woman at her 40's with long black hair.A girl with brown braid hair and last one,a boy with long wavy black hair and blue eyes.They were Brian,Madam,Ginnie and Grim.

Some people knew Brian,so they were not suprised and told who he was to the people near to them.a 5th rank Earth mage!And an exceptional one among them with huge experience.Most of the guards have choose the path of fighter,while only holy power users chose mage path.These 2 path were not so different,but also not same.Mages had greater magic power and mana capacity while fighters had stronger bodies and faster reflexes.

''Brian!''Cried Faust,waving his hand while fending off another zombie with his shield.Brian looked at him and smiled,then waved his hand forward.Earth rumbled and air shook a little,while the spike they were standing was shaking crazily.Brian gathered huge amounts of mana,then bit his pinky,drawing a circle at the air with the blood.Circle started to glow with the surge of mana from Brian and spike's shaking increased in power.Then with a huge sound,it flew towards the crowd of undead,directly piercing the ground.A huge shockwave sent weaker undead flying while strong ones couldn't stand up from pressure.

''His major is Earth destruction,then what is the other 3's major?''Asked a man.Major were the main magic people depended,the main branch they progressed like enchanting,illusion,destruction,conjuration etc.Minor's were the supplementing branch,secondary branches to support their first magic,complementing each other.Of course,major was always more important.

''Madam is an hydra,so she probably uses water or ice,their daughter i do not know,while abot that young man ı'm completely clueless.''Said another person.They saw that boy going around the town and city gate once in a while,clearly a new comer and a fresh adventurer.But they never saw him fight,so there was no way to know his major.

As people were talking,Brian and the other 3 were already at the ground,calmly looking at the Skeleton who was coming towards them at high speed,covered by hundreds of sharp ice daggers.Wounded man was not moving,only looking at the Brian.Brian took a step and rushed towards a site,where wounded corpse followed him.Madam and Ginnie also moved,using their mana together created a huge ice hill near 10 diameter,sending it flying towards the skeleton.

Skeleton waved it's finger and sent hundreds of ice daggers flying.It was like the sparkling stars in the sky,but much more brutal.Daggers broke upon colliding with ice hill,which was slowed down by hundreds of daggers.Using the time gap skeleton lifted it's hands to the air and made a strange sound.It's crown started to shine and in matters of second,turned to deep blue from golden,Just like the necklace.

Skeleton's eyes gave blue bright lights,covering the whole 10 meter around him.Everywhere light touched started to freeze,turning into an ice land.Madam opened her eyes and looked at skeleton with a sneer.Her eyes were also blue,but like an ice star,freezing one's soul.''You want to contend in ice?Fool undead.''

She turned towards Ginnie and Grim,saying''You help to the crowd,me and Brian will take care of these.''She lifted one hand,making other hand a fist.With a minor enchantment,she covered her fist with spiky ice while the lifted hand started to create a little dagger.''Let's see who's dagger is more sharp.''She took a step and darted towards skeleton,leaving dust and cracks at the places where he stepped.

Skeleton created another volley of daggers,sending them towards the Madam.With a sudden step,Madam increased her speed,closing in to skeleton.Using her dagger,she slashed every dagger accurately,destroying them.Skeleton didn't stop,creating a huge ball of cold mist,slowly swirling it around himself.Mist slowly became like an head,a huge skull.

Skeleton pointed it's index finger to the madam,who have already destroyed all the daggers.It's finger flashed and with a boom,skull flew towards madam,creating shockwaves.Madam stopped and stomped hard at the ground,quaking it and cracking the earth near her.Place her feet was blasted and a huge wall of ice rose,aimed towards the skeleton.As skull got closer to the wall,Madam created two crystal wings,directly diving towards the skeleton.

After madam dived,mist skull crushed the whole ice wall,blasting it to the smithereens.Skeleton looked deeply at the madam,who was diving at it with utmost speed.Understanding that it can't dodge,skeleton's necklace exploded.A huge explosion rose,not burning but freezing and completely destroting the whole 100 meter around it.Madam didn't have any time to block or evade and got sucked in it.

Places explosion touched froze then completely smashed by shockwaves,leaving only small pieces.Blue waves of ice pierced through the both crowd of guards and undead,inflicting huge damages.After clouds and mist disappeared,there could only be seen a small piece of skeletal finger and a crown.Suddenly,a huge body descended to the ground,covering a whole 50 meters.It had a full blue body and 6 heads,all looking like snakes with scales and sharp teeth.It's eyes were like an icy star,freezing the souls of the people looking at it.

It was Madam,her real form.An Hydra from the easter of continent,Hydra sea.It's all 6 heads looked down,gazing at the crown.One of the heads opened it's mouth and bit the crown,completely destroying it.After crown broke,a small green soul flew from inside,sending shrill screams at Madam.6 heads opened their mouths at the same time,and with a blast sent 6 beams of blue light.Lights directly pierced the green soul and destroyed it,only leaving a small white piece.White piece slowly rose,not as easily as the ones old man saved.Another beam of light brighened the soul piece,giving it strength to rise.After some time,it disappeared at the starry sky.

Madam turned her heads towards the undead crowd,which was being supressed by the help of Ginnie and Grim.She used most of her mana,so couldn't destroy them easily.She had to save her mana.She turned back to human form and gazed towards the Brian's place,wishing him luck.Then she walked towards the crowd,to help the guards.

A huge noise got out of the bag of Demi,who was in front of the 2nd floor of dungeon.She suddenly took out a little token,on it wrote 'Guild'.She directly sent her mana and looked at the contents.Her face turned into one of an hatred,then shouted at the adventurers.''EXPEDITION IS DONE.CITY IS UNDER ATTACK''Everyone left what they were doing then looked at the Demi.No one asked anything,as they know what kind of person she was.

In 5 minutes,everyone got ready and rushed out of the dungeon.''We will be too late if we go with carts.''Said a adventurer,which everyone agreed.They came here in 5 hours,which was way too long.Demi suddenly made a strange noise,then a roar got out of her mouth,which shook everyone around her.Her body slowly covered in black scales,while her arms turned into claws.Her body increased in size tremendously,turning into an 100 meter long body.She had 4 strong legs with claws,a huge head with 2 horns and deep purple eyes.Her tail sweeped the forest,creating shockwaves and sending trees flying.

''Get up,we will only need 30 minutes.''Ales said,and got on Demi's back.Everyone followed the suit,with shock and a bit of fear.After everyone got up,Demi shook her body a little,making people hold on stronger.Then with a flap of her wings,she lifted into the air and flew towards the city,creating waves of air and destroying the terrain.

''It's time to have a feast!''Said Black Tarraon,and laughed shrilly.His laugh would make people disgust and shiver in fear.He took out a pearl out of his chest,a bit gray.''I still don't have enough souls.''He frowned a little but turned his gaze towards the graveyard.Then smiled evilly,his gaze filled with greed.He took a step and disappeared,destroying the whole house alongisde it.

A black light pierced the earth,blasting the 15 meter around it.Then with an explosion whole ground cracked and opened a path.A old man with a horrigying wound at his back got out of it,he didn't have any arm and only one leg with his eyes glowing dim green.Light was looking unstable,like he was at his last moments.

Before he got out completely,a punch that covered the whole sky fell on his face,burying him to the ground once more.All earth blasted and flew like a wave in the sea,sending huge chunks of earth around the place.Under the earth,glow of the man fully dimmed,disappearing.It's body stopped moving,leaving all sign of life.

In the dust and rubble,a man slowly walked towards the corpse.He didn't have any clothes at his upper body,hile only a pants was covering his lower body.His chest was filled with countless wounds but even among them,one got the most attention.A cross,slightly glowing.Like an seal,it hided the whole aura of the man,making him look like an normal man.

Man had brown hair and a long mustache with a bit of thick beard.He was Brian,an tavern owner and old adventurer.He slowly swinged his arm,making cracking sounds that hurt the ears.''I'm a bit rusted from the looks of it''He muttered,then stomped at the ground,using his mana to cover the whole cracked ground.Same moss and plants started to grow on the earth he created and in no time,same terrain was restored.

He turned back and headed off towards the Madam and ther two when he sharply looked at the Graveyard's center.The moment he looked,a huge black shockwave spread,hitting every undead in the graveyard.All undead's suddenly started to scream,even skeletons.Their body slowly became grey and grew taller.Their power increased while they turned berserk,attacking even themselves in the process.

''Is he the head of this?''He muttered then ruhsed towards the center,leaving afterimages behind.

A holy light spread and destroyed a group of undead,lifting the spirits of the men behind Old man.They were steadily going forward,supressing and destroying undead under Old man's leadership.Suddenly,a huge black shockwave came towards them,which hit the undeads.All undead started to scream while their body grew taller and became grey.They started to attack in a frenzy,with madness.

Old man frowned,looking at the center.''A devil?''He sharply looked at the crowd of undead then created a 20 meter ball of light,which he directly slammed on to the undeads.Ball exploded and destroyed all undeads in vicinity,leaving hundreds of souls free.Shockwaves trembled the remaining handful of undead,which were destroyed by the guards and adventurers.

''I have to go to deal with a matter,you have to protect here.Don't let even one of them slip''He said harshly,then rushed towards the center.If he was alone,he may not have gone to the center,but he sensed 3 other aura going towards the center,with no evil intentions.They could take care of this mess together,or so he hoped.

''Bait is ready.Now,how many are you gonna fall into it.''Devil smiled greedily,a kind that gave creeps.He lifted the pearl he held on his right hand,looking at it.''Oh my dear companion,wait.Just wait,i will get you out of there soon.Then we can enjoy as much as we can with these puny people''Then laughed.His laugh echoed through the altar he was standing,where lay hundreds of corpse,childs teens adult or old,all kind.
