Wiping off her face after giving Lena the proper punishment she deserves. Ami turned her head around and asked:

“Sister, what with the ridiculous outfit?”

The queen embarrassingly replied “Erm, Well, it is because this dress is most comfortable for me whenever I am dealing with children. I wear it to take care of the three of you when you were small, remember?”

Ami vividly recalled their infancy. This was indeed the outfit that her sister always wears before she became the Queen. Although now that she is the Queen, it was just too unfitting for her to wear it.

“Please, sister. I must insist that you take off your outfit immediately.”

Ami proceeded to try and escort the queen out of the chamber.

“But Ami, I need this outfit for the job.” As the queen resisted by holding onto the door frame.

“Please, your Highness” Ami pushed harder, but the queen's door grip was stronger.

“Stop struggling”. Ami, even with the initiate advantage, was unable to push the Queen back. It was at this moment that Ami pulled out her trump card. “The entire fairy race pride cannot be lost like this. You two help me!”

Hearing their companion cried for help, the two fairies who have been watching from the sideline stopped their giggle and joined the fray. With additional help, Ami was able to slowly push back the Queen.

“You … little…”

Just when the Queen was about to get pushed out of the room, a scream stopped everybody in their track. The scream came from non-other than Maria, she is in for what seems like a seizure, her body violently shakes and the energy around her start to condense. The Queen with a quick reaction broke free from the trio's grip, flied to the bed instantaneously and is about to cast a spell but Maria suddenly stops moving. Maria opens her eyes and silently sit up.

“Are you ok?” The Queen asked, reaching out her hand to help. However, just as she did so, Maria slapped the Queen with a blow so hard, she slammed into a wall, created a big hole on it. The energy surrounded Maria started to transform her hair to crimson, her pupils became bright as glistening rubies. With a flick of her hand, the entire room instantly engulfed in flame.

“is everyone ok?” Ami asked the two fairies who escaped the explosion behind her.

“We are fine. Our new house is not though…” Lena and Nemu casually flick off dust, tree branches on their shoulders, and put out the fire linger on their clothes while watching the treehouse slowly engulfed in the fire. At the door on top of the tree stand Maria, with her entire body emit red glow energy.

“So, what should we do now, captain?” Nemu asked while looking at Maria standing menacingly from afar.

“First, a silent prayer to our Queen who bravely sacrifices herself for a greater good” Ami clapped her hand and made a praying gesture.

Maria, however, did not wait and jump high into the air. Just as she was about to prep for another attack, a strong blow pushed her from behind and sent her flying down to the ground, created a big impact and a dusty smoke screen 20 meters high.

“I AM NOT DEAD YET!!” The Queen angrily screamed in front of Ami’s silent praying gesture. “Nemu, teleport everyone back to the capital. Ami, Lena erect barrier type 3. Make EXTRA sure the barrier will not let anyone feel the slightest abnormality around here.” Touching her swollen left cheek, where a red hand mark glows brightly on her tender white skin, the Queen smile devilishly while looking at the tiny figure standing up in the middle of a crater “I will personally take care of this problem child.” Just as the Queen finished up her sentence, she immediately dived at maria with an unimaginable speed, create a second impact larger than the first.

From the smoke that covered the battlefield, the sound of thunderous clashing can be heard from miles away.

“Shouldn’t we help her?” Lena asked while looking at the direction where the battle take place but none of her companions responded. Notice something off, she immediately turned around and saw Ami already fly away far into the distance “Hey, wait for me.” she shouted.

Ami shouted back “You are too slow Lena. You should learn a thing or two from Nemu, she already gone and evacuated everyone way before any of us noticed.”

“What? That rascal! She is always quick to bait out of a serious situation." Lena growled "Anyway, do you think the Queen can take care of that kid alone?”

“Of course, that is why she told us to clear out. She is ready to bring this whole place down; didn’t you see her face?” Ami giggled while thinking about her sister swollen face. “Anyway, a barrier, making it as big as you can. We don’t want anyone to discover this place.”

A few moments later.

Just as Ami and Lena finished putting up a barrier, a big shock wave hit the inner side of the barrier, reverberate the entire space before return to normal.

“Look like the Queen was waiting for us; I hope that our speed matched her patience. I don’t want to hear her boring lecture again.” Lena shrugged her shoulder, looking into the distance.

“I heard that.” The Queen instantly appeared in front of the two fairies, causing them to shriek in surprise.

“Y-your majesty!”

“You are slow. You should learn a thing or two from Nemu. Look at what your incompetence cause to my beautiful attire. The Queen sobbed as she lifted her arms, showing her entire maid attire that was charred with many holes. However, it only gave Ami a big relief that the Queen cannot wear this outfit ever again. The relief cut short after she noticed that on one of the Queen's hands, hold Maria's body.

“Sister, did you kill her?” Ami pointed at Maria's body.

The Queen lifted Maria “Ah, don’t worry about her. She is only temporarily unconscious." She looks at the little girl on her hand and muttered "Not from my attack, surprisingly.” Then she threw Maria's body to Ami. “Anyway, I will need you to take care of this kid when she wakes up.”

“No prob-“

“In the human kingdom, Ami. Didn’t you see what happens around here? I will need you to take this kid out of our newly establish base of operation and keep a tab on her… alone. This is an order.”

“Wha…but… can I take Lena along?” Ami stutter.

“No, she has to stay here, fix the damage and run the place.” The Queen finished her sentence and immediately cast a spell, trapping both Ami and Maria in a circle of runes. As the circle glow, Ami and Maria slowly disappear from the foot up.

“Sister, please, not like this. Noooooooooooooo” Ami pleaded desperately as she slowly disappeared. That day, Ami finally know the true horror of punishment.
