Narrator POV.

As soon as fafnir summoned ,Light begin to gather at fafnir mouth...The beast prince legios immediately used his divine beast authority. Slowly a crimson fur appear with his mane grow bigger...His body grow more bulky . But what more ridiculous was how big his arm grow. It become a huge claw. It can easily break armor and kill person. Thought there is a reason why it was more scarier..

"Fafnir!!"(Ezax)

Fafnir open his mouth and a light was bursting from his mouth and was aimed at legios. Legios react was slightly late which made the light hit one of his claw.once the light fades,he found his claw had a huge hole in it.But instead of being painful,legios mouth sligthly curved ..

"kHehehe..!!!"(Legios)

He let out sligthly laughed ,while Ezax was drinking another potion to restore his magic power. Then Fafnir charged another light at his mouth. Then slowly legios take out some bottle contain blood and then drink it. Then the hole immediately closed and the claw become normal.

"Unlike you humans!!!There more blood we drink the more we rejuvenate on!!!That's why there is no way we can lost to you.."(Legios)

Maybe beastmen was bad at magic,but god didn't threat them fair....they were given divine beast authority..it was not just increased their physical power but also strengthen their vitality. Just by drink blood they able to heal themselve...but..it was extreme. Drinking blood can regrow their arm while they were at divine beast authority it was like while they were using divine beast authority they have invicible body..as long their heart was fine...they won't die. That's why beast noble were treated at utmost important position...they were too strong compared to other normal beastmen....

But then a light begin to gather at rightside of Ezax,then it forms a sword. 3 were hovering beside him..

"I know that,I also know divine beast authority consume a lot of stamina. That's why let's see how long you last fighting seriously."(Ezax)

Then Fafnir released his breathe once more again. This time legios dodge it completely,or as he thought so because Ezax the sword already at the place where he dodge and push him back to the light...

"Kuh!!!"(Legios)

Because of that one of his leg was gone....but then he immediately drink another blood,and the leg regrow by itself..once he finished he go and etc repeat.

Slowly legios moved foward once he arrived in front of him,fafnir dissapeared and Ezax was on his knees. He was too tired and Alicia was watching worriedly behind her.

"As expected you are magician type. From the way you are fighting I can predict you were a magician."(Legios)

"Who knows...But you will pay for underestimating me."(Ezax)

Legios dodge it easily and then he moved his claw and severed Ezax head...

"Huh ,weaklings in the end were weaklings..Now what I should do to you my little sister?"(Legios)

 As he said he smiled to his own sister,but then he noticed,,..the severed head of the human was smiling..Then It vanished..slowly a wind engulfed him made him close his eyes for a moment...and Many lights form of nail were surrounded him...his leg was binded by magic. Also there is many blood scent nearby that belong to beastmen outside of the castle..It was belong to his underling who fired the arrow before to kill Elicia. Yet why all of them were died.

"Dragon magic ,Light of deceit..how is it?(Ezax)

Ezax appeared in far from him. But even fool know that he pushed himself...because there is drip of blood flow from his lips.

"Since when?"(Legios)

If it was normal illusion magic ,legios of course will notice it. but he didn't even notice it was an illusion..maybe because the fain he felt was real..and when he consumed the blood he felt body rejuvenated. FOr illusion user you need to imagine how the reality works..that's why for illusioner or mage who was master illusion many of them were rather insane...and yet this guy was perfectly sane...he only damaged because his lacking mana..Legios felt this little human was not normal...

"There is no need to tell you,using this magic...was out of my maximum to begin with."(Ezax)

The nail then immediately moved and pierced him made him like porcupine...once Ezax know legios dead,Ezax immediately fall on his knees...To keep using dragon breath 3 times was his limit..and yet he use more than 10 times by using potion nonstop.even thought magic power can be restored..but stamina won't....he also using Dragon magic ,Light of deceit at start of battle . His whole body alread sore...his eyes were so sleepy.Ezax knows he can't beat him without using all of this..but with many assasin nearby Elicia was in danger..she was a just a little grl who never participate in war..there is no she way she can defend herself...As he thought that Ezax fall on his butt..and was breathe roughly.

"..You,why you go this far for me. Why..why you risk your life for beastmen?If you abandon me--you won't-"(Elicia)

I stand on tiptoes once again and pat her head. It was hard because she was taller than me...I then answered.

"Don't mind ,don't mind. I do this because I can't let you suffer....still looks like I must continue to fight."(Ezax)

Ezax eyes were blurry... yet he forced his eyes open..because he heard some horse footstep. He support himself with the sword...then once again he stand straight..He mustn't let know the enemies was on weakened state. As the horse entered. It was a male beastmen who wear noble clothes. Followed by some of beastmen..,Immediately he noticed the girl and Also the corpse of legios...some of the beastmen face turn horror....

"You..You killed legios!!!!HOW DARE YOU HUMAN!!!"(Noble)

He shows his killing intent on me... THen suddenly he appeared in front of ezax. Ezax can't react to his movement...and was send to the air and had his back crashed with the castle wall...

"Cought."(Ezax)

Ezax coughed blood and then he fall on the floor lifelessly.See this Elicia immediately prepared to go over him..but she was stopped the majority of beastmen.

"Release me!!!Release me!!!"(Elicia)

"Princess ,it was too dangerous.."(Noble beastmen)

Then the beast king who still in rage,immediately roared.

"Elicia!!Why !!!why you care humans!!!!!Humans kill your brother!!!"(King of beastmen)

"FATHER!!!HE PROTECTED ME!!!HE PROTECT FROM MY OWN BROTHER WHO WANT TO KILL ME!!!!!!!!WHY FATHER KILL HIM!!!"(Elicia)

"Elicia are you nuts !!!There is no way that your brother want to ki-"(Beast king)

"That was the truth,don't run away from it KING!!!!."(Ezax)

Ezax stand up,His head was blleding...his eye was blurry..he felt he can pass out anytime soon..but...he can't pass out right now..

"ELICIA!!!!!!!!!"(Ezax)

"Yes!!!"(Elicia)

..Ezax breath was so roughed.. but no one knows why...he felt a pressure that made even the king doesn't dare to make a move rashly..he slowly stand up,no one knows why but..they can breathe normally..

"You know,maybe your father was an Idiot..He was most Idiotic beastmen I have ever seen...But I believe he truly love all of you equally..Elicia..let me ask you again.....Do you truly wish..too separate from your father?"(Ezax)

"I.."(Elicia)

I don't know ,Elicia thought. The guy that give him warm that she never felt...truly an earnest guy...still...she doesn't want to return. She want to answer no..but before she can answer him..

"You!!!How dare you human to address princess that way!!!"(Noble guard)

A noble dog beastmen was roared and prepared to draw his sword and kill him on the spot.but..

"Shut up you dog."(Ezax)

The pressure increased...no one knows that Ezax was using dragoon magic ,Dragoon pressure to keep them on their spot...right. If he fight again then he knows he will die...But then the beast king with solemn face.

"Why?Why you willing to go this far for beastmen?Aren't you human?Do you know what will happen to the war if you kidnap her?"(Beast king)

"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!!!"(Ezax)

His answer surprised everyone ,even beast king. Ezax then continue..

"If I can't protect a single girl ,just because I am afraid...If I can't protect girl just because she was beastmen...If I can't protect girl just because there is stronger person than me,then I can't never protect my family!!!I will not falter no matter what!!!Even if you a beast king !Beast king I am not afraid of you!!!"(Ezax)

"Ezax,Please stop !!!"(Elicia)

Tears begin to flow from her small eyes......She forced her to smile...

"I am fine already,I am fine.."(Elicia)

"I see,Elicia...I will never forget your kindness.."(Ezax)

Ezax knew..Elicia what wanted too...Even an Idiot will know..the reason she said this. was she know...she know Ezax will die if she told her that she want to leave...that's why she lied to him....Ezax bit his own lips..Slowly a dragon appeared above him,it was typhon...then he said..

"If Elicia died because your naivety..I swear..I will erase your beastmen from the map!!!"(Ezax)

"...You,what's your name.."(Beast king)

"Ezax.only Ezax."(Ezax)

"I see...I will remember your name."(Beast king)

Then immediately Ezax surrounded himself with a tornado...once the tornado disperse...Ezax was nowhere to seen.

"Idiot ,hahaha..I was called Idiot by a little boy!!"(Beast king)

"Your majesty?"(Noble beast)

BEast king immediately freed Elicia from them and then he lift her up,then he whisper her something.

"You know,Elicia...You are beastmen..while he is human. If you get together...surely many incovenience will appear in front both of you..still do you still want to be with him?"(Beast king)

Elicia nod.

"Then get stronger...get stronger to protect each other back okay?"(Beast king)
