Arc 4 - Family Reunion - Part 1
After killing everyone in the facility and erasing the data of this organisation, I healed the old man because I needed information which cannot be found on the computer network. For example, the code to the door that is holding their weapons in place is only known to one person and that is the head of the facility. As it turns out, this old fool is the head of this facility. I am sure that not all of the weapons are in one place but I will do something about the others before it's too late.
We walked slowly towards the basement, where the weapons are being held. On our way there, he asked, “How did you kill them?”
“Oh, I used strength against some and matter manipulation against others and speed against others,” I told him while smirking. “And I also used combos sometimes too. Like strength plus speed. Amazing combo.”
“You… are evil.” He told me but I only replied with a smile. “How can you be a hero?”
“Hmm… let me tell you a story. When I was young I loved heroes which is why I started reading comics but as I grew up, I learned that the villains are much more intriguing. For example, I saw Superman as the villain and blindly agreed with Lex Luthor. You know why? Because Lex Luthor said many times that we as humans should not rely on a man from the stars. Sure, Superman saved lives but Lex Luthor saw the damage he did to the world. His existence made the people become weaker and more dependable on others. So, when I first got my powers, I wanted to come out as a hero but once I established myself in the world, I would use that popularity to achieve my dream. My dream was to create an advanced scientific research facility, where I will use my genius level intellect to make inventions you could not even think about. Sure, I was going to help save people but only as a PR (Public Relations) stunt. However, my dream was destroyed when millions of people died in my name. I decided that I will actually become a proper hero until I met the likes of you. You reminded me that, we humans are nothing but pathetic creatures who only care about themselves. So, why should I devote my entire life to saving people who only care about themselves and no one else?”

He listened calmly and once we reached the gate he opened it. As the door started to open slowly, I saw over 100 different bodies in stasis. See, humans are cruel.
“Meet your family!” He said.
“What?”
“Oh, these are members of your family and family friends. They ‘volunteered’ to our cause.” With a smirk on his face, he told me this. Perhaps he thought it would make me reconsider their offer?
“Volunteer?”
“More like forced.”
“Release them right...” before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me and said, “If I release them, they will all die in 2 hours. Some in less than 2 hours and maybe some of them will take longer. Also, this was your parents’ idea.”
I just stood there standing looking over these people. I always hated everything about my true bloodline but now I feel sorry for them?
“What did you do to them besides making them into weapons?” I asked him.
“Before we turned them into weapons, their memories were removed and the only thing remaining in their brain is commands we have given them. The main command is to neutralise you. So, if you were to release them, they will always destroy this facility just to kill you.”
“Is this all of them?”
“Yes!” he replied.
“So, what do you use the other facilities for?”
“We use other facilities to create other weapons against you. The glass was created in a facility in… Wait, why am I telling you all this? I cannot stop myself!”
“As soon as I healed you, I used my psychic powers to override some factors in your brain. So, you cannot lie to me and you will follow any order given to you.”

Using my molecular manipulation, I turned the steel wall into a prison for him and then sat down there thinking of how to save them. I don’t even know why I want to save them. If I let them go, they will all blow up and it will damage the water. Sea life will reduce by a huge amount. It will kill me too. So, I need to come up with a way to bring back their memories. No matter if you are brainwashed or not, your memories never leave you. I will use this facility to bring back their memories. Then what?
“What happened to their memories?” I asked him.
“I don’t know,” he replied.
I decided that I should teleport them all into Antarctica because my equipment there is far more superior to the equipment here. Once I teleported them there, I wanted to analyse them to see if I can save their lives. Do I really want to do this? Do I really want to save the people who have caused me and will cause me a lot of troubles?
After a few days of analysing their DNA map, I figured out that these powers come from the nanites that they have bonded with their cells. As you know, I am very smart so I changed the materials of the nanites into metal, so I can save more time. These nanites are the same design as the ones they used in me. So, another function of the nanites was to transfer some of my power into these people?
I cannot remove these nanites from them in the same way as I did with myself, so I decided that I will create bubbles around them and then rip it out of their bodies. I shall do this to each one separately. The bubble around them will heal them instantly.
After a few hours, it was over. All of them were no longer a threat to me or other life forms in surrounding areas. So, I let them out. However, I forget to change their commands, so now I have over 100 hundred people attacking me with everything they can.
I am so stupid.
