Arc 8 - Prelude to Unholy War - Part 2
----------------------------------------------------
Greenland:
Both demons stood opposite one another and the only thing between them was the hellfire. They looked at one another while smiling.
“So, what’s the plan?” The crimson demon asked with a smile.
Zerathos did not waste a single second and said, “My spies have told me that bitch, Aarin and Nazar has joined forces.”
He was about to continue with the rest of the story when the crimson demon stopped him.
Everyone would be surprised why a demon, even a depowered demon would be scared of a human. The crimson demon had an idea that he was human but what difference does one human make?
“Who is Nazar?”
Zerathos got annoyed and angry with this question. So, he replied in the same tone.
“The most powerful person on the face of the planet.”
The crimson demon looked at him. Then laughed.
“You, Zerathos, the deadliest low-class demon are scared of a human?”
Zerathos stood there. He did not know how to answer the question but he had an idea.
“If I analysed his powers correctly, he should be able to surpass even middle-class demons.”
When did he do this analyses? No one knows, except him.
When the crimson demon heard that, he felt fear for the first time in his long immortal life.
----------------------------------------------------
“L-L-Lucifer?” Nazar said while being extremely surprised by this. He never thought that Lucifer was also real.
He thought about other angels. So, if Lucifer is real, then so is Michael and so is Azrael and so is Jibril. And so many others.
“Yes. The first fallen angel.” She said this while being very happy for some reason.
“Then Michael and Azrael and Jibril...”
Nazar did not finish his sentence because he was interrupted by Aarin. If she did not stop him, then he was going to list hundreds of them.

“Yes. All of them are real.”
Nazar just sat there in shock and amazement. His mouth was half open and his eyes were wide open. He looked as he just saw a ghost.
He got rid of his fear and amazement after a few minutes and then continued to ask more questions.
“So, which is one the most powerful?”
Aarin was surprised. She thought she did not have to answer any more questions of his but his questions have no ends.
She was getting annoyed with all these questions.
“You know what, I will give you all my memories.”
Nazar’s expression changed from excited to confused. Why would an angel give her memories to him?
“Huh? Why?”
“Well, because I got your memories. So, now I want us to be equals.”
As soon as Aarin said that, Nazar’s expression went from confused to angry.
“Well, then we have a deal.”
Aarin used a spell that will allow her to create a copy of her memories and give it to Nazar. They no longer had any secrets hidden from one another.
“Now you know everything I know. Also, I want us to use this gift to understand each other. Knowing these things can help us plan better and can be helpful in the upcoming war.” Aarin explained.
Nazar was just amazed at how amazing Aarin’s life as an angel was. She was considered to be the most beautiful angel. Many angels had their eyes on her, but she had her eyes on one person, Lucifer.
From the knowledge Nazar has gained from Aarin’s memories, he found out that Lucifer was the first fallen angel. He is also the only fallen angel.
Even though he is a fallen angel, he lives in the same dimension as every other angel. They don’t mistreat him in any way and neither does Lucifer.

According to Aarin’s memories, Michael is considered the most powerful angel, but among the angels and demons, Lucifer outclasses everyone. This is was one of the reasons Aarin wanted more power.
Unlike some other angels whose power has been increased by killing other angels or demons, Lucifer’s current power is the same as it was when he was born. He can kill any angel he wants and his power will increase significantly, but he does not want that because he is already above all of them.
Looking through her memories, he found out that she has been around the Earth and had tried to keep quiet. Even though she was exiled, she still did everything to prevent the plans of Zerathos.
It all her life story that he had known some of them already. It took no more than a minute to go through her entire life. His mind moves as fast as he wants it to.
After going through all of her memories, he realised something that made him feel relieved.
He found out that the people he killed were not really alive. The reason is that whoever wants to use Zerathos’ demonic magick, they need to sign a contract. Signing the contract kills them straight away. As soon as they are dead, Zerathos gain a little power. His victims are turned into undead. They have no free will. However, the undead cannot stay in this dimension for more than 50 or 60 years so they are sent to Zerathos’ old domain, which is now ruled by Bur'goth. The most powerful low-class demon. They are sent there for storage. If Zerathos ever needs them, he will contact Bur'goth and let them out.
In 1646, Zerathos released about a few thousand of them against the world. Once Aarin saw this, she created her own group of followers. However, unlike Zerathos, she doesn’t take away their souls.
When Nazar was reviewing the battle that took place centuries ago, he came to a conclusion. He found out that if an angel kills the undead, they will perish forever. Even Aarin’s followers and friends can do that. This is because they have access to the same magick. Therefore, the people he killed who were involved with his experiment were in fact not dead.
Nazar said his farewell to Aarin and left their mystery house.
When Nazar was leaving he had multiple expressions on his face. He was happy, angry, annoyed, confused and so many more emotions went through him.
He went to his home and he wants to analyse everything that can help him.

But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams.
