Arc 8 - Prelude to Unholy War - Part 3
----------------------------------------------------
Greenland:
Both demons stand opposite one another.
The crimson demon is shaking in his boots.
While the human is smirking?
“A-a-are you n-n-not scared?”
What happened when a low-class demon who is equal to a middle-class angel feel fear?
Their wings clench together. Their hellfire becomes dimmer. Their red eyes become widened. Their lips, which has an arrogant smile on it, become widened. Saliva starts to drip from their mouths.
“I have developed countermeasures against him, but my million undead armies in your possession will keep him occupied. You do not have to fight him and neither should I.”
Zerathos said that the crimson demon, whose name is Bur'goth, stood his ground again. His fear was removed but he will always fear Nazar.
It is true that Zerathos have developed countermeasures, but he has not really tested them.
“So, how did you come to the conclusion about his power?” The crimson demon named Bur'goth asked.
“I have a spy within Aarin’s ranks…”
Zerathos stopped. He paused for a while but he continued.
“...and she has a spy within my ranks. So, she was talking about it the other day and he informed me about this. I am not sure if it is true but it is possible.”
By hearing that, Bur'goth felt relieved.

USA:
In New York city, there is a throne room that no one knows about.
It is a fortress guarded by dozens of undeads.
But…
A man walks in there. No one finds out about him because he teleported in.
He did not use demonic magick, because if he did, Zerathos would know about it.
He did not use Aarin’s magick, because she would know about. Even though Aarin will be happy to have access to such data, she would not risk going to war earlier. But on the other side of the planet, she did not know what’s going on.

The man did not use teleportation technology either.
Nazar felt a rift being opened, but it was in New York, so he knew it was Zerathos. Also, he cannot feel more than two rifts at a time. And usually, it is much weaker with the distance. This ability of his is not very good yet. He has not used it long enough.
Even though he thought it was probably Zerathos or his army, but it felt different.
When Zerathor or Aarin opens a rift, they use magick or technology which leaves behind a energy trail. Even though Nazar cannot follow energy trails as good as energies from this dimension, he can still feel it.
But…
But this felt different. Almost like a… superpower?
When you open a rift using technology, you can feel the residual energy left behind by the tech. The rift is almost big enough and is not instantaneous. There is a time delay.
When teleportation occurs using magick, the user should cast a spell beforehand. Once the spell is done, a portal will open. This time the rift is massive and it can be as large as the user wants it. So, once it opens it leaves an energy signature that Nazar cannot read, so he knows its magick.
But this...
...this is different. This is instantaneous and does not leave any form of energy residual.
He decided to leave the matter for a later time.
After a few encounters with people who teleported in front of him, he decided that it would be for best if he could monitor space-time rifts. It took him sometime to develop that ability, but he finally mastered it. However, it’s not as effective as he thought it would be.
The man walks into the room and open the drawer. He picks a file that is named ‘Nazar’.

He opens the computer. It is locked but he hacks his way through fairly easily.
He copies every file under the name ‘Nazar’, including, ANTF (Anti-Nazar Task Force) and ANT (Anti-Nazar Tech).
He turns off the computer and leave the room by teleporting.
----------------------------------------------------
The Moon:
When he received Aarin’s memories, he thought it was because she didn’t want to answer any of his questions but that was not the case.
She gave him her memories because she wanted someone else to go through her life and see if there is anything that can help them with their fight against Zerathos.
Another reason was that she wanted Nazar to know that she is doing this not to get her powers back or to play a game but because she wants to save Earth from Zerathos.
Analysing her memories, he found out that angels are from a 5th dimensional plane of existence and the demons are from the 4th dimensional plane of existence. Humans are in the 3rd dimensional plane of existence.
He also found out that angels and demons become significantly weaker when they leave their own plane of existence. Except for one. Lucifer. He does not become weaker if he leaves his plane of existence..
While analysing the memories, he backed up all of this into his computer.
He then left his computer room by unplugging himself from all the wires that are attached to him.
He leaves the room and goes to another room. He has two different rooms that dedicated to advanced technology and weapons. He went into the room and started working on creating technology that will help him monitor all forms of teleportation activities across the planet.
He wants to know where Zerathos is going and who else might be using teleportation beside a few of them.
He also started working on increasing his warsuits and changing the designs.
He has never used these weapons and warsuits but he did see it fight when he was fighting another personality of his.
His plan is to turn the warsuits into fully functioning robots with all of its powers and add more functions to it.
----------------------------------------------------
Greenland:
The crimson demon asked, “So, the only thing I have to do is send in the undead to your aid?”
“Yes.” Zerathos replied. “Furthermore, I want you to ‘book’ the arena for me.”
Bur'goth stood in silence. He did not know what to say to his old friend.
You see, when Zerathos was exiled, he lost all of his powers and he lost all his credibility. He was no longer trusted by demons and they will not fulfil his requests.
After a while, Bur'goth broke the silence by saying, “Fine, I will do something.”
Zerathos smiled and said, “If you could not convince them, I want you to tell them this: ‘Zerathos wants to win this game and if he does, and he will, he will give you Earth’. If you tell them this, they will probably think about it.”
Bur'goth stood in silence again. He doesn’t know what his oldest friend is thinking. Does he really take him for stupid? Earth is insignificant.
Bur'goth said, “Fine I will tell them. But don’t expect results with this.”
They both looked at each other and smiled. But Bur'goth’s smile was not very pure. He had doubts.
“You are the ruler of Earth but you have no done anything, yet.”
“I have plans for all of them.”
