Arc 10 - Unholy War - Part 1
An arena that is so big, you would mistake for a country.
In the audience, there are beings sitting down whom you thought only existed in myth and fiction. Beings who have wings. Beings who have power. Beings who can kill us with just a swipe of their fingers.
A war between a powerless angel and a powerless demon.
The demon has an army of 10,000 while the angel has only a fraction of that.
Aarin did not want to fight but she will soon find out that there is no choice.
Ar'okoth stands up and says, “there is not backing down now. If you lose, the Earth is Zerathos’ new domain and if he loses, the Earth survives.”
Aarin looks at them in disbelief.
“Why Earth?”
The leader of the crimson demons said, “I heard you have come to cherish your new home.”
Aarin gritted her teeth and she knew that bastard was up to something.
All this time, she and Nazar were thinking of preventing this game and getting rid of Zerathos, but they both did not know that he was 100 steps ahead of them.
She nodded.
She wants to fight Zerathos and win, so she can save Earth.
But...
But her only hope lies in Nazar, who is still on Earth.
No one besides Zerathos and Bur’goth knows what is happening on Earth.
What is Zerathos’ final goal?
----------------------------------------------------
Our universe - Earth - earlier today:
Zerathos and Bur’goth were about to enter the portal, when Zerathos said, “commence the plan.”
This was an order to his assistant and a demon named Bur’goth.
The order to his assistant was specific. He ordered his assistant to get rid of any defenders.
So, she did. His assistant dropped the biggest bomb in the history of the world without blowing anything.
Every type of peacekeeping force was disassembled and their weapons were to be left there for the undead to use.
He also gives an order… or rather requested Bur’goth something.
Zerathos asked Bur’goth to send all of his 2 million, more or less undead to Earth and just leave about 10,000.
Once the orders were given, they left Earth and entered the battlefield.
Earth - Now:
The whole planet is swarmed by this undead.
People ran away, but they are too slow.
People fought back, but they are too weak.

They ask where their police are, but they have no idea that before Zerathos left, he destroyed the world from within.
There is no police to keep them safe. There is no soldier to save them.
Where does their hope lie?
In a police force that no longer exists? In a military that no longer exists? In a man who they hate the most?
Moon:
After Nazar finished eating his food, he turned all his computers… only to find a certain doom awaiting humanity.
He collected as much information as he could.
He found out that there a massive portals being opened across all planet. Mostly in populated areas.
He also found out that the entire world government is destroyed.
He unplugged himself and waved his right hand.
With a wave of his hand, four people appeared before him.
They were the only four people he ever cared about.
“What the hell is going on?” Emily asked.
They were all confused.
They had no idea where they were and who did this to them.
Nazar was still inside him computer room and unplugging himself.
Nazar walked out of the room and told them, “you will be safe here.”
As soon as he said that, he moved on without giving a second glance to them.
Nazar was worried about them but he was more worried about what’s going down there.
They were all shocked to find themselves here. But they were scared of what is going on in the world below them.
“Nazar, what is going on?”
Emma asked.
There was no reply.
They all looked at him as he went on to the other side of the hallway.
Once he reached that place, he started typing something. The doors opened and there were weapons and warsuits and robots.
He needs information, so he adds more powers to the list.
Nazar can have any power he wishes.
“Absolute speed.” Increasing his speed beyond his current limits.
“Temperature manipulation.” Allows him to manipulate temperature around him.
“Vector manipulation”. Allows him to manipulate any form of attack that hits him. For example, if a bullet were to hit his skin, he can just manipulate its vectors and send it back to its shooter and damage the shooter instead.
“Omni-Manipulation”. Omni-Manipulation allows its user to manipulate many different fields of the environment. For example, this power allows the user to manipulate atoms, electron manipulation, molecular manipulation, elemental manipulation, etc. There are many other fields he can manipulate with this but he does not understand all of these fields. Nazar thought about having this power before but he did not need it. He knew that he had matter manipulation and energy manipulation but he never needed the others because he did not understand them. Now, he needs to push not only his powers to their limits but his knowledge too.

“Self-duplication,” as he said that the whole placed got swarmed by 100s of Nazars.
He got the ideas for his power set from many different forms of fictions. So, he does not understand some of the powers he has. He doesn’t even know how his powers really work, but he can get any power he wants. But he knows one thing that he must do something about the ruckus that's happening on the planet that gave birth to him. He might not like it but he has to save it for his friend and family. The only people that matter to him.
They looked like him. Acted like him.
The next second they vanished.
The clones vanished. The robots vanished. The weapons vanished. The warsuits vanished.
But one Nazar stays.
With a small movement in his fingers, the design of one room changed completely.
The 5-star bedroom became nothing but walls. The square room is now a circular room. The bright lights get replaced by dimmer light. In the place of the bed, a massive table appears.
He turns on the table and it provides him with holographic technology.
He needs to analyse the data he gathers from the site of the incidents. This device provides him with magnifying abilities and the ability to view anything at 360 degrees. While also allowing him to see everything on Earth that is within a range of a camera.
New York:
One clone of Nazar appears in New York.
The Time Square, which is usually packed with people is not packed with magical zombies.
They used to be humans but they made a deal with the devil and this is the price there are paying for.
Nazar stands between the horde of undead and the innocent people behind him, who are more scared of him than they are scared of the undead.
He stands there and raises his right hand.
He moves his fingers and hundreds of the undead vanish into nothingness.
He smiles and thinks he can kill them without using any more of his powers.
“This is eas...”
Before he could finish his sentence, his smile was replaced by an open mouth. He looked carefully in front of him.
The undead he supposedly ‘destroyed’ just recreated themselves.
Nazar’s surprised expression is replaced with him gritting his teeth.
He moves faster than an eye can see.
He punches hundreds of undead in front of him in less than a second.
He moves to the next street and the street after that.
But then he looks back,
They all standing up again.
The Moon:
Hundreds of Nazar clones reports back to the original Nazar within five minutes.
None of them is providing him with good news.
They all tell him about how nothing is hurting them.
“Angelic magick...”
He thinks back to the memories he got from Aarin. In her memories, he found out that the undead can only be killed using angelic magick.
He tried to contact Aarin, but there is no answer.
“Where the hell are you…?”
----------------------------------------------------
Another Dimension - Battlefield 5:
Aarin indeed finds herself in a hell. But not the one Nazar thinks.
Aarin with only 1,490 of her friends. They stand against Zerathos and his 10,000 minions.
The match has not begun yet, but Aarin has already lost.
She can feel that her friends are scared. She is scared too.
She knows that her friends are going to die. She knows that she might die too.
But she will not give up. She will fight for the planet which harboured her for thousands of years.
If it was the old Aarin, she would not have cared at all, but this one is different.
The angels and demons who have come to see them suffer sit on the edge of their seats. They cannot wait to see the first battle between a powerless demon and a powerless angel.
In the audience, there can be seen many angels. Anaiel, Boel, Gabriel, Agnese, Jibril, Azazel, and so many more. People like Azrael, Michael and Lucifer were among the missing. Powerful angels never cared for these kind of things.
Ar'okoth, the leader of the crimson demons, and the representative of the angels, Orslo, announced the match to begin.
Both sides roared with fury and marched on against each other.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author.
