Arc 40 - Message

Earth:

Nazar teleported away and leaving Raj, where he was standing.

He teleported to another location close-by.

(Summon Aarin.)

As he said that, a bright white light appeared before him.

“Where…?”

As Aarin appeared, she looked confused at first and then noticed someone in front of him.

“What? You missed me that much?” Aarin said as a smile spread across her face.

“Absolutely not.” Nazar paused. “I know you being here messes up with universal laws, which I still have trouble understand. So, I will be quick.”

Nazar moved closer to Aarin and placed all the information he needed into her mind.

Aarin placed her right hand on her chin and started thinking.

“The name and appearance match mine… but it is not me.” Aarin said after a while. “I never even thought about something like this.”

“As expected of you,” Nazar said while nodding his head.

“What does that have to mean?”

“Nothing.” Nazar paused. “Anyway, if I find out more about this, you should be able to know about it too using your Nigh-Omnipresence.”

“Y-yeah… right.”

“Anyway, you can go back now,” Nazar said with a smile.

He did not say another word and left.

Aarin knew where he was going, but she did not follow. She then opened a portal back to Heaven.

The Moon:

Nazar appeared in Laura’s office.

“Did you go and come back already?”

“I could not find Heaven’s location, so instead I just summoned her.”

“So, what did you learn?”

“Absolutely nothing.”

Nazar sat down on a chair opposite Laura. He placed his palms on the desk and then placed his head on it.

“You know, the more we learn, the more confusing it gets,” Nazar said. “So, why not just give up on this and let's focus on another problem.”

“Actually, before you came here today, I was going over something.”

As Laura said that, she turned her monitor around towards Nazar.

Nazar lifted his head and looked at the screen.

“What is this?”

“It has been going on for few days. Gangs and small terrorist organisations are beheaded. Each crime scene is marked with ‘Crimson Sword was here’. Now, I have been trying to analyse it since this morning, but I cannot connect the dots.” She paused. “No one knows how it happened.”

Nazar looked through the scenes in super-speed and did not pick up anything either.

“Is this public?”

“Unfortunately, yes. Everyone knows about it and some people believe that it is the ‘superheroes called Internal Order’.”

Nazar placed his head down on his palms once more.

“Contact 001 and the others to look into it.”

“Okay.”

She then took out her communication device which was in her jean’s pocket.

He tapped it a few times and waited patiently for the other person to answer the transmission.

She waited for a minute and nothing worked. She tried it again and again. No one picked it up.

“What the hell?”

Nazar raised his head a little once more.

“What’s wrong?”

“None of them are answering the transmission.”

She then placed the communicator back in her pocket and took out her phone.

She checked it and had a signal.

Now, you would believe that she is on the moon so why does her phone have a signal. Well, it is because Nazar had already placed devices in here to allow Laura and the superhumans to use their mobile phones and contact their families, as they cannot do that using the communicators.

She checked through the entries and called her brother.

The call did not go through. It is as if he was outside of the range.

She then tried other numbers and it was the same.

“Damn it,” Laura muttered. “Why is not reaching anyone?”

Nazar narrowed his eyes.

“Solace, is the antenna device operating?”

- Yes, Master. It is operating perfectly. -

“Can you contact Earth?”

- No, Master. I am unable to do so. -

Nazar stood up.

“I will go and meet 001.” He paused. “You might as well go and check on your brother.”

As he said that, Nazar vanished into thin air.

He appeared in Emily’s house. He appeared in their living room.

Emily, 001 (Jake), Mikasa, and Oliver were sitting in the living room talking.

As Nazar appeared out of nowhere, they were all surprised to see him there.

“001, why are you not answering the transmission?”

001 stood up and took out his communicator.

“I have not received any transmissions.”

“Hmm?”

Nazar noticed something. No one was surprised to see them interacting. Last time Emily and Mikasa saw that Nazar and 001 were on opposite sides.

Seeing the sudden confused look on Nazar’s face, 001 smiled.

“I decided that I will no longer keep secrets from my family. So, I told them everything.”

“Everything?”

“Everything that involves me.”

Nazar released a sigh of relief.

Mikasa seemed to have picked up on that.

“Did something happen?”

Nazar quickly turned his gaze towards Mikasa and forced a smile on his face.

“No. Nothing.”

“Really? Then that’s good.” She paused. “Anyway, where have you been since that day?”

“That day?” Nazar started to think for a while. “Oh, that day? Well... I was off-planet.”

He then looked towards Emily.

“Hi, Emily,” Nazar said.

She turned her gaze away from him. She stared outside the window.

“Wait, what did I do wrong?”

“What did you not do?” She said without turning a gaze towards him.

Nazar thought for a second and then he remembered something.

Oliver, Emily and 001’s father got a little closer to Mikasa, his wife, and whispered.

“What happened?”

“Did I not tell you about it the other day?” Mikasa whispered.

“You did, but Nazar was taking it so lightly I thought they were talking about something else.”

“Wait, you are still angry over that? That was your fault for trying to slap me.”

“...??” She looked at him confused and a little angry. “Are you kidding me?”

“No?”

She just sighed and looked the other way again.

He then looked at 001 and then Mikasa with a confused look on his face.

“Let me tell you what you did wrong,” Mikasa said. “First: you pretended to be dead. Second: you tried to hurt Jake. Third: well, it was her fault but your too. She tried to hit her and she broke her hand. And other stuff too.”

“Well, let me clarify. I did not die. I just got disintegrated into atoms. I only wanted to intimidate this idiot. Well, I just wanted to check if my vector manipulation can increase the power of a normal human.” Nazar paused. “So, I am sorry about the last one… but not sorry about the other ones.”

He looked around the room and they did not find his reasons within the range.

“Also, if it wasn’t for me you guys would have not been reunited.”

Upon hearing this, they all looked at him in surprise.

“What did you say?” Emily, who was looking the other way looked towards Nazar once more.

“The other day, when I was ‘dying’, I sent Emily a telepathic message to inform her about my ‘death’ and made her look this way. So, she could see her brother. If she sees her, 001 would feel kind of guilty, so I was sure that he would return. Once he returned, I placed questions in Emily’s mind to ask 001 because I wanted to learn what happened in the experiment and how they got their powers. Of course, 001 could not lie because I made sure that even if he wanted to, he could not lie.”

“After a little while, I sent a telepathic message to Mikasa and asked her to come here. While this conversation was going on, I called down a meteor and I also messed with 001’s teleportation. I wanted him to see what kind of person his boss was.” Nazar added.

Nazar paused and released a sigh of relief.

“So much happened on that day. Aliens came to Earth for the first time in a long time, the reality was changed, the universe was going to be destroyed and so much more.”

“...??”

“...??”

“...??”

“...??”

Noticing their confused expressions, Nazar looked at 001.

“Did you not know about it?”

“No,” 001 said as he shook his head. “I only know about the reality warping. Just up to phase 2… or was it phase 3.”

“It was up to phase 3.” Nazar paused. “Anyway, where did you go from the restaurant?”

“It was forced teleportation. I was taken to Australia. We were all there, just hidden from view and don’t remember anything after that.” 001 paused. “So, basically I don’t really remember anything after the restaurant.”

“So, you remember that?”

001 nodded.

“Oh, no. Please tell me you didn’t tell anyone about what happened at the restaurant.”

“No, I did not.”

Nazar sighed. And a smile appeared on his face.

“If you tell anyone about it, it will be the last thing you do.”

001 chuckled when he heard that.

But the others were confused and surprised. And Emily finally looked a little interested in what was happening.

“Wait, what happened at the restaurant?” Emily asked.

“Nothing.”

She then looked at Nazar and he turned his gaze away. He stared at the wall instead and pretended he did not hear it.

“Oh well, I am not here for that.” Nazar paused and turned his gaze towards 001, who was standing up next to Emily. “001 get to the moon now. Something came up… Actually, just wait a minute.”

He then turned to look towards the TV, which was about 2 meters in front of him. It was off but as soon as Nazar looked it at, it turned on.

There was nothing on it.

The channel changed and it was the same.

“Pass me your phone,” Nazar said.

As soon as he did, 001 reached for his pocket and handed him the phone.

Nazar turned on the phone and there was no signal.

“What the hell?” Nazar muttered under his breath.

Nazar then raised his voice a little, so he can be heard by those around him. “How long has it been?”

“I would say less than an hour?” 001 was unsure.

Nazar’s eyes lit up with blue energy. He held out his palm and small energy balls started to appear. It was hundreds of them.

After a minute or so, he released the energy balls, and they were scattered across the world. One energy ball made contact with 001. As soon as the small blue energy ball made contact with 001’s forehead, his eyes lit up with blue energy for a second.

“What…?”

“You training is going to take much longer. So, I created specific instructions on how to use it perfectly.” Nazar paused. “I also added a little message in each energy ball. They should know what it is and what do they have to do.”

“I cannot--”

“Well, you are next to me, so I am going to tell you what you have to do.”

“Okay.”

“Once everyone is the moon, you go there too. I want you then to scatter each one to a crime scene and analyse it. Also, check all the cameras and ask witnesses as well.”

“And what will you do?”

“I am going to go and check the satellites to see if they are operating.”

“Got it.”

As soon as 001 said that, he vanished into thin air.

As he left, Nazar noticed something. 001’s phone was still with him.

He then placed the phone on the table.

“Emily, let’s talk after I am done with this.” Nazar paused. “I… I don’t want to lose my only friend.”

Emily’s eyes widened in shock.

As he said that, he did not even wait for her response, he just teleported out.

Nazar appeared outside Earth’s orbit and found something.

He was frozen in his place due to shock.

“What the hell?” Nazar muttered under his breath.

He then moved from one place to another and found the same thing. All the satellites are destroyed.

And that’s not it. Radio waves around the world were messed up, which is why the communicators did not work.

“It’s like someone has messed up the radio waves,” Nazar muttered. “They are slightly changed so I did not notice it at first glance.”

Nazar waved his hand and the radio waves were back to normal. However, the satellites were going to take some time. Nazar could just recreate them, but why would he?

He went back to the moon and the superhumans were gone.

He appeared in the main lobby of the base. This is the place where you can access all parts of the base, such as a library, cafeteria, Laura’s office, Nazar’s personal place, and others.

“Solace, tap into every single computer on the planet.”

As he said that, a hologram appeared. It was the AI in its holographic form. It did not have a face or anything. It was just a blue light that was shaped like a woman.

- Yes, Master. But what am I am looking for? -

“Anything that will help me find out who did this.”

- Okay, Master. -

After a few minutes, the AI spoke once more.

- There is a message for you, Master. -

“Message?”

- Yes, Master. Do you want me to play it for you? -

“Yes.”

Nazar said that a screen appeared in front of the AI. The screen was showing a picture with writing on it. ‘Crimson Sword’ was written on it. The picture was essentially the background for the video.

The video played and the background did not change. However, it did have a voice.

- “It took you a while to notice us. I am a little disappointed. In fact, I was expecting you to remove us out of the equation by yesterday.” -

The voice laughed. They were using technology that allowed the voice to change between man and woman, child and adult. So, it was hard to figure out who was talking.

- “I am from Crimson Sword. I am here to tell you one thing; I have superhumans by my side as well.” -

As Nazar heard that, he was shocked to his core.

“Superhuman?” Nazar muttered then he remembered something.

Tuesday, the 25th of June 2019, Eort, the previous boss of Internal Order unleashed something called Phase 2 of Superhumanity. The second phase of the project allowed him to empower secret terrorist and organised crime organisations. He sensed thousands of superhumans, but he did not really care about them after the whole thing with Aria and aliens.

- “The leader of Internal Order gave us these pills. And after a few weeks, we have managed to mass produce it.” The man paused. “Is what I would have liked to say, but these people have actual powers.” -

And just like that, the video was ended.

“What?”

Nazar then slammed his foot on the ground and the base started to break apart for a split second, only to recreate itself.

“What the actual hell is going on?”

Laura said as she came out rushing out of her office.

“Nothing...” Nazar said. “If the Crimson Sword has access to superhumans, then they are the ones that destroyed the satellites and the ones that messed up the radio waves. If what he said is true, then an amateur who only had powers for a few weeks won’t be able to do anything like this.”

“What are you saying?” She said with a confused expression on her face.

“I don’t know, yet.”

Today - Berlin, Germany:

A woman entered a house in the middle of Berlin. It was an apartment. She did not use a key. She did not even touch the door, but it opened by itself.

She entered the house slowly.

She heard chatter in the house. A voice that belonged to a child. He was crying. Another voice belonged to a woman. And another to a man.

“” The woman said.

“” The man said.

As the lovely conversation between the couple continued, the woman walked towards the voice.

In this house, there was a small hallway that led to a living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and kitchen.

The voices were coming from the living room, which was the first door to the right. You could enter it as soon as you enter the house.

Even though it is summer, the door was closed.

The door to the living room opened.

As the door opened, the couple both looked towards it. They had surprise and fear in their eyes. This is because they saw a woman there.

This woman was Anna Schmidt. She had shoulder length blonde hair. Her eyes were blue like the ocean. She looked like she was about 1.70 M tall. She was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt.

“”

As the blonde woman said, the couple both stood up as fast as they could. The baby was sitting beside them on the sofa.

The woman had long black hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a blue dress. She was about the same height as the blonde woman.

Next to her was her partner. He was about the same height. He had green eyes and blonde hair.

They both looked like they were in their early 30s.

“”

“” The man said as he did not pay any attention to the question. “”

The blonde woman walked towards them.

“” The blonde woman said as she walked towards them, but her gaze did not divert away from the black haired woman.

“”

The man did not answer and the black-haired woman was confused.

The blonde woman smiled and moved at a subsonic speed. Before the man or the woman in front of her could react, the black-haired woman was lying on the floor.

The blonde haired woman’s fist went through the right shoulder.

She cried in pain and blood was coming out of her mouth. Her eyes looked like it was about to shut any second.

And before long, the man was met with same fate.

Anna, without saying any words, she then lifted the baby and using her telekinesis, she ripped the little boy into small pieces.

She then cut the limbs of the couple, before killing them completely.

Once she was done, she laughed while everything around her had become red.

After a few minutes of laughing, she then used their blood to write ‘Crimson Sword was here’.

As she finished writing, she flew through the window at a speed faster than sound. She has no other power besides telekinesis.

Planet Xiem - Vanaha Empire:

Kiet Xehz, the prince of Vanaha Empire appeared on planet Xiem, the throne world of the empire.

He appeared in his own personal lab. He was accompanied by Reaper, the deadliest assassin in the galaxy.

“” Kiet paused. “”

“”

Kiet moved towards his computer and started tapping a few keys.

After a little while, he spoke.

“”

“”

“” Kiet paused. “”

“”

“”

“”

“”

“”

“” Kiet thought for a second. “”

“”

“”

“”

“”

Reaper frowned at that.

“” Kiet then looked away from his computer and towards Reaper. “”

The Reaper nodded at that.

Kiet tapped a few keys on the holographic keyboard. After a few seconds, a transmission was being sent to Nazar on the moon.

He waited and waited. After a few minutes, there was a response.

“What the…?” Nazar said. “From where did you get this frequency?”

“There is no time to talk about that. Something has come up.” Kiet said.

“What is it?”

“Vanaha Empire and Duluria Empire are at war now.”

“Okay?”

“So, I need your help to stop this war.”

“I really couldn’t care less if you guys were to kill one another. Plus I am busy right now.”

“But… but if any of the empires win, Earth will be destroyed.”

Nazar seemed surprised as he heard that.

“Why would they do that? Aren’t they---”

“A few days ago when Lucifer came here, he told my father that he no longer cares about Earth. So, the others found out about it and they will not leave Earth alone from now on.”

“Hmm?” Nazar’s face was ripped with a smile. “Tell them I am waiting for them.”

And just like that, the transmission was cut off.

“” Kiet slammed his fist on the table that had the holographic computer on it.

“”

“” Kiet took a long pause. “”

After a little while, he finished informing his other friends from other empires.

“”

“” Kiet paused. “”

“” Kiet added.

Reaper nodded and teleported out and after a little while, Kiet teleported out, too.
