Arc 48 - Uninhabited
“YOU KILLED MY SON!” Reaper spat out these words as he pounded the demon beneath him with his fists.
Nazar landed a few meters away from Reaper and the demon.
The demon was being slammed to the ground over and over again by Reaper.
Reaper’s body started to become energy once more… and all the demon did was laugh.
“You could have avoided it all, Reaper,” Bur’goth said as he was being punched.
Reaper’s body was turned into energy in less than a second. He started to radiate energy. He was going to blow up again.
Nazar did not know what was going to happen, but to him, it looked like Reaper was going to overload. So, Nazar placed a massive shield around both of them.
As soon as the shield was up, Reaper blew up once more.
Nazar pushed his powers to its limits once more. He placed a force field using many different forms of energies and also placed a telekinetic barrier around them.
He first placed a barrier around them using his force field creation power. He then manipulated the energies within his body and the surrounding energies to create energy based constructs. He then created a telekinetic barrier to try and keep it all together in one place.
“Arrghhh!!” Nazar shouted in pain as he tried to pour more energy into the shields.
He created more layers of barriers around them to keep the damage to the surrounding at its minimum and to increase the damage to the demon.
However, Nazar could not contain the ‘explosion’, so he was thrown away. The shield was broken and the area around them was a little damaged.
“Ngh...”
Nazar slowly got up after a few seconds.
He looked around and found out that there was a massive crater on Xiem’s moon.
He then searched around to find Reaper perfectly fine.
He looked around frantically but he could not find Bur’goth.
While floating a few centimetres above the ground, he continued to look around. There was a massive crater on the moon and Nazar slowly moved above it.
“That was--”
Something grabbed the back of his head. It was invisible.
Within a second, whatever it was, it wrapped itself around Nazar’s head. He was then slammed to the ground face down.
“Easy?” A cold voice said.
Nazar tried to look back, but he could not see anything.
“What?”
Whatever it was, it started to become visible.
Within a second, Bur’goth was completely visible once more.
He continued to keep his hand around Nazar’s head.
“Easy? This is what you were going to say, right?”
He then picked up Nazar by his hand and then slammed him once more onto the ground.
The ground beneath them started to crack slowly.
Every time Nazar was slammed into the ground, a small crack appeared.
(Come on.) Nazar thought.
The ground beneath Nazar opened up and was about to swallow him… but it did not work. Bur’goth raised Nazar’s body once again and threw him away.
Before Nazar even hit the ground, Bur’goth rushed in and kicked him in the sides.
He was throwing Nazar like a football across the moon.
“You think you are the only one with power?”
Bur’goth lowered his height to 2 meters.
“You think you really have a chance of standing up against me?”
Bur’goth picked up Nazar by his throat.
“I am a middle-class demon. And this is my trial to becoming a high-class demon.”
Nazar was now hanging from Bur’goth’s hand.
“I am not sure how much you know about demons and angels, but let me tell you a few things.”

Nazar did not struggle at all.
“There are a few differences between us. We are more powerful in the 3rd plane of existence than they are.”
Bur’goth squeezed Nazar’s throat harder.
“We are beings with tremendous power. We can do so much. As I demon, I can raise the dead. I can kill people with a touch. I can steal your soul. I can make you my slave - permanently, that is.” A smile appeared on Bur’goth’s face. “There are so much more I can do. But what can you do?”
Nazar went intangible and freed himself from Bur’goth’s palm.
“I can phase through stuff?” Nazar said as he increased the distance between himself and Bur’goth.
Nazar circled Bur’goth with high speed.
(Come on. Use it.)
After a little while, he stopped right before Bur’goth.
The demon looked around and was a little confused.
He was about to ask a question, but something else happened before that.
The area, which Nazar had circled around Bur’goth started to raise.
Within seconds, an area about 100 meters radius shot up towards space.
“I-I am confused as to what you are trying to do,” Bur’goth said. “I withstood a powerful blast from Reaper. This is nothing--”
“Compared to that? I know.” Nazar smiled. “I want to see what you can really do. So, I am going to throw you into that sun.”
Nazar pointed to the nearest sun, which was a few hundred million miles away.
Bur’goth laughed.
“I just told you that I am a middle-class demon. That I am much more powerful than an angel in the same class. And… this is what you are trying to do me?” Bur’goth stopped smiling. “You are so confusing and irritating.”
Bur’goth then slammed his fist into the ground that was flying at a very high speed towards the closest sun.
The area broke apart, but it was repaired immediately.
Bur’goth them looked around and smiled.
“A barrier? Interesting.” Bur’goth said. “Anyway, what are you planning to do?”
“Hmm… If what Aarin told me, then you are way above my league, so I was wondering how powerful you truly are.”
Bur’goth laughed once more.
“Just what are you thinking?”
“Let’s see… I just came up with 100 different ways that Sentry will be able to defeat Superman if they fought in our universe. I also thought about how badass Ninjak is. I mean have you read Divinity and its sequels? He is so awesome in there.”
Bur’goth stopped laughing due to the confusion.
Bur’goth sighed and punched the barrier. It broke apart pretty easily. It did not surprise Nazar.
Bur’goth then jumped off the little part of the moon that was flying towards the sun.
As soon as he jumped off, the little ground started to fall apart and Nazar followed Bur’goth.
When it comes to flight, most angels and demons have to rely on their wings. Flapping the wings, can some time even slow them down. They can increase their speed over time, so right now it was easy for Nazar to catch up to the demon.
Nazar followed the demon close by.
Nazar tapped his left arm and a small computer appeared.
He contacted someone.
“Iket, allow my AI to temporarily tap into your systems.”
Over the communicator, Iket did not sound happy.
“Just who do you--”
“If you don’t do it, then your planet will be in danger.”
“...”
“Come on. Just say yes.”
“...Fine.”
“Solace, did you hear that?”
- Yes, master. -
“What the -- what have you done?”
“I left my AI there, just in case. I knew I will have use of her soon.”
“Hmph. At least you should ask a permi--”
Nazar cut off the communication line.
“Solace, find me a solar system that is uninhabited.”
- Okay, master. -
Nazar was still following the demon close by. He was gaining speed. He knew that Nazar was after him, but he did not care. And what worried Nazar the most was that Bur’goth was not going towards the moon, but the planet Xiem.
- Found it, master. I just sent you the coordinates. -
“Thanks, Solace.”
As he said that, Nazar increased his speed. He moved faster than the very speed of light.
As he sped up, he caught Bur’goth by his wings, which made him stop flying.
He then dragged Bur’goth by his wings to another solar system. It was pretty far away, so Nazar just teleported there instead.
As he appeared in that solar system, he found 12 small planets and two suns.
(Nigh Omnipresence. Just present. Just this solar system.)
He looked around to see if it was truly uninhabited.
As he confirmed that, he turned off his Nigh Omnipresence.
Bur’goth looked around and he was still smiling.
“I can go back there in less than a second.”
“I know. I have a request.”
“Oh? And what would that be?”
“If you are as powerful as you say are, then take my next attack head-on. Don’t dodge it and don’t use shield or force field. And you have to take the blase in point blank.” Nazar smiled. “What do you say to that?”
“And why would I do that?”
“Because I don’t think you are as powerful as you say you are.”
(Come on. Use it.)
“Fine. If you fail, I will not go easy on you.” Bur’goth sounded annoyed.
(Energy overload.)
Nazar moved in closer. The distance between the demon and Nazar was now less than 50 centimetres.
In less than a second, Nazar’s eyes lit up. Then his hands. Then his whole body started to radiate energy.
A massive explosion occurred. An explosion so big that surrounding solar systems felt it.
As the dust settled, both Nazar and Bur’goth were standing face to face once more. None of them had any injuries. A human with a power of a god and a demon were the only thing that were uninjured.
However, the solar system was decimated. Every single planet had blown up. The suns had blown up too.
Nazar raised his right hand to his chin and started nodding.
“I am not surprised.”
“So, did you really think that was going to work?” Bur’goth said while smiling.
Bur’goth then threw a punch, but Nazar dodged it pretty easily.
“Okay, so here is your power list: flight, speed, strength, life and death manipulation, immortality, sin manipulation, sin eating, demonisation, mind control, hellfire manipulation, fire manipulation, endurance, durability, force field, teleportation, illusions, prescience, soul manipulation, demonic magic, and a few other powers.” Nazar paused for a little while. “Is that right?”
“...”
Even as a demon, Bur’goth - or any other demon - can never tell the powers of another person just by looking at them.
“I knew every power you had since we met a few minutes ago… but because you are a being from another plane of existence, it is hard to tell your power levels. So, I wanted to see you use all of your powers at their highest level.”
Bur’goth teleported out in annoyance.
Nazar followed soon, but he did not find him anywhere close to planet Xiem, or its moon.
He met up with Reaper on planet Xiem’s moon a few minutes later.
Nazar landed just outside the massive crater, which was about a mile wide.
Reaper was in the middle of the crater.
“WHERE DID THAT DEMON GO?” Reaper shouted angrily.
“I don’t know… I lost him.” Nazar replied slowly, but Reaper heard him.
Nazar then looked around once more using his Nigh Omnipresence but could not find him.
“Wh--”
Before Nazar could speak, Eddie appeared next to him and he looked worried.
“Finally caught up to you,” Eddie said as he sounded worried.
He has burnt up a few minutes ago, but due to his healing factor, he was back to normal. He was half naked because his clothes were burnt up.
Nazar’s eyes lit up with yellow energy and a small device appeared in his right palm.
He then placed the device on Eddie’s shoulder and in an instant, he was wearing proper clothes.
Eddie looked surprised and then he started to smile as he checked himself out.
“Dude. How…?”
“Anyway, why were looking for me?”
“Oh yeah, they figu--”
THUD!!
A massive fiery demon landed in front of Nazar.
“You sure are annoying,” Bur’goth said that in a serious tone.
He looked at his right palm.
“You are thinking that my real plan was the destruction of planets, right?”
He then slowly started to close his fingers.
“It’s not that. It is reality warping, which means the destruction of...”
He closed his fingers, making a fist and with it, a smile ripped his face in half.
“... your universe.”
These words stabbed into Nazar and Reaper. However, Eddie already knew about this.
“Reality...warping…?” Nazar struggled to say the words due to shock.
Before he anyone could say anything, Bur’goth’s massive fist stabbed Nazar in the chest, throwing him away.
Nazar was thrown off into space, where it took him 30 seconds to regain his senses.
He rushed back into the moon to see that both Reaper and Eddie were struggling.
(Damn it. You didn’t use it...)
Nazar did not land to help.
“Solace, do you have enough data?”
- Unfortunately, Master, he did not use enough of his powers to prepare proper countermeasures. -
Nazar clicked his tongue.
- However, I do have enough data about his magic. -
“Then take control.”
Nazar then contacted Iket.
“Iket, can your battleship create weapons?”
“Yes. We use these battleships to prepare weapons.” Iket sounded annoyed.
“Let my AI take control of the entire battleship.”
“That’s imp--”
“I don’t give a fuck. She is the only who can do it. I created her to not just help me, but prepare countermeasures against any opponent. I provide her with data by making my opponent unleash they full power and then she takes care of it.”
“She--what the hell is that?!”
Nazar started to fly away from the battlefield.
“Damn it. I wanted to see her physical form first.” Nazar smiled. “Anyway, Iket. Tell me how she looked like.”
“Uh… well… she has long red hair, big blue eyes, white skin, big chest, and she is a little shorter than you… and uh… she is wearing a maid uniform?”
“Perfect!” Nazar paused. “Anyway, you didn’t have to mention her big chest.”
“A-anyway… what is she doing?”
“She is taking control of your battleships and preparing countermeasures.”
“And where are you going?”
“Trying to find where the reality is being warped.”
“We are trac--”
“Don’t worry, I am taking care of that.” Nazar paused before continuing. “Anyway, Reaper and Eddie need help. While Solace works on the countermeasures, you guys should help them. Just keep that demon busy.”
- Found it, Master. -
“Thanks, Solace. I got the coordina--what the hell? This literally at the edge of the universe?!”
“Oh no. It's too late. The reality has already been altered. The crack has appeared.” Luan said.
“What?!” Nazar continued to fly through the dark space.
“We will need time to--”
“There is no time. I… will do something once I find the site.”
“I am opening a magic portal for you… now.”
As soon as Luan said that, a massive portal appeared before Nazar. He went through it found himself between dead planets.
He flew around in this space for nearly 10 minutes and did not see anything but dead planets. There was debris after debris.
“This could be a wrong place...” Nazar muttered.
He flew in the dark place.
“Is this the right place?” He tried to speak in his communicator.
There was no reply.
He then tried to contact his AI, but it did not work. There was no signal.
“Damn it,” Nazar muttered.
As he was flying, he passed a debris that was different. All other debris was nothing but rock, but this one was giving off a tremendous amount of light.
He went closer and closer.
The light was getting brighter and brighter.
Once he got closer to the light, a form started to appear there.
The crack started to get bigger and bigger.
Nazar went closer to the light and saw someone there. It was not light, but a being was being held in shackles.
As Nazar saw who it was, his eyes widened with surprise and his breath got caught in his throat.
“Angel…?”
Yes, it was an angel. An angel with red hair, green eyes, a golden halo and white wings was being held in shackles.
The face of the angel was bloody and so were his wings… no, in fact, his wings were not attached to him. They were ripped off.
As the crack got bigger and bigger, the universe around the angel slowly started to crumble.
The angel was in the centre, and everything around him slowly started to crumble.
As Nazar looked in horror, he saw what was outside the universe. He saw darkness like none other. Even the darkness in this universe is not as dark as what he was seeing. The darkness he was looking at was the place known as the void. The void in which powerful beings are held.
“Ru...n...” the angel barely managed to say those words.
The small part of the universe that had crumbled, it was replaced by the void. And it was still increasing at a tremendous speed. And the darkness started to envelop our universe.
