Arc 52 - Team
After Nazar and the others returned from the beach, it was 4 PM. They had gone for more than 3 hours.
“I need to go somewhere,” Nazar said as he prepared to teleport out.
“Are you coming back for dinner?”
“Only if it--”
“No, it’s not chicken wings,” Emma sounded angry.
“I was just joking.” Nazar smiled. “Yes, I will be back until dinner.”
“Where are you going anyway?” Aria asked as she sat down on a sofa.
“Vanaha Empire.”
“Those bastards,” Aria muttered.
Nazar teleported out.
Nazar appeared in the floating building on planet Xiem, Vanaha Empire.
He appeared in the throne room. No human has ever come here. He was the first.
He appeared before Kiet, the new king of Vanaha Empire. However, he does not have the same powers as his father.
“Have you thought about my proposal?” Nazar said as he looked around the room.
“Yes,” Kiet replied immediately. “But in order for it to work, we need more people.”
“If you accept it, leave the others to me.”
“Yes. I accept.”
Nazar smiled.
“Well, then. See you soon.”
As soon as he said that, Nazar vanished into thin air.
Chochica Empire:
Lian was sitting on top of a green hill. She was looking down to the city beneath her. It looked so peaceful from here. But for her, it was not. She had recently lost a close friend and the High Priestess of the empire.
Nazar appeared behind her.
He walked a little closer and spoke.
“It sure looks beautiful from here.”
“Yeah...” she said as she stood up.
She turned her gaze towards Nazar.
“We under bad circumstances. I am Nazar.”
“I know who you are,” she paused. “I am Lian, by the way.”
Nazar took a step forward.
He looked at the city beneath him.
“So, are you the new queen?”
“No. No, we don’t have queens or kings. We have a High Priest or a High Priestess.”
“So, are--”
“No. Esh is the new High Priest of Chochica Empire.”
After a little silence, Nazar spoke.
“I have a proposal for you.”
She gave him a confused look.
Duluria Empire:
Hial had become the new king of Duluria Empire. He was now sitting on the same throne his father was sitting on a few days ago.
Nazar appeared before him.
“So, are you the new king?”
“...Yes.”
Nazar took a look around the throne room.
“What happened to that bastard Eort?”
“No idea...”
Noticing how Nazar was looking around, Hial did not want to interrupt him.
“What plans do you have for Earth?”
Nazar did not turn his gaze towards him at all but Hial seemed a little shocked.
He thought for a while.
“I am not my father. I don’t want to destroy Earth or take over it. This empire is already big enough.”
Nazar smiled.
“Then I have a proposal for you.”
Outox Empire:
Weq was the new king of this empire. After the death of his mother, he was the next in line. However, that is not the reason why he is the ruler of this empire. Unlike Vanaha or Duluria, the king or queen is not chosen because of their ties to the previous empire but because of something else. It is chosen by who is the next smartest person in line.
So, most of his life, he focused on improving his intelligence. Right now, he stands above others.

He was sitting on a throne that changed its shape and designs freely. Right now, it was a white room with a chair where the king was sitting.
Nazar appeared before him.
“I am Nazar.”
“I know who you are.”
Nazar didn’t look around. Unlike the others, there wasn’t anything impressive around.
“Anyway, how on Earth did you get here? Teleportation is blocked and you cannot come through using your flight. There is a shield around the planet.”
“Interdimensional travel is not blocked.”
“Well, I must fix that, then.” Weq paused before continuing. “So, what are you here for?”
“First of all, I am here to say ‘Thank you’.”
“Thank you?”
“If it wasn’t for your knowledge of the universe, I couldn’t have helped in saving it.”
Weq started to look a little relieved. After the death of his mother, he was sad, but seeing how his empire had helped in saving the universe, it cheered him up a little.
But then he noticed something. What was Nazar talking about?
“What are you talking about?”
“Well, it is a long story...”
Weq clicked his tongue in annoyance.
“And the second?”
“I have a proposal for you.”
The ruins of planet Mial:
Reaper was floating in the ruins of the planet, which he destroyed. But it was also the last place where his son was.
Nazar appeared behind him.
“Didn’t think I would see you again so soon,” The Reaper said without looking back.
“What did you see when you left us behind?”
Reaper looked back without turning around.
“Things that should be left behind. Things no one should know about.”
“Why?”
“The universe is different from outside. There are things that we didn't know existed.”
“Let me se--”
“No. It is better if you do not know.” Reaper paused for a few seconds. “Plus, I have already removed the memories from my mind. It was… too much.”
Nazar sighed.
“Well, I have a proposal for you.”
After Nazar explained what he wanted from Reaper.
“Seriously?”
“Seriously.”
“... Then I will think about it.”
“Thanks.”
Nazar was about to leave, but Reaper spoke.
“I know someone else who might be of help.”
“Who?”
Unknown planet:
Nazar appeared on a planet covered in lava. He stood in the middle of nowhere.
“I have a proposal for you,” Nazar said.
There was no one in front of him or behind him. There was no one around him.
“What is it?”
A voice came from around him. The voice came from different directions.
“Our universe has faced many different problems that one of us alone cannot solve,” Nazar started to speak. “We just faced off against a demon. Believe it or not, I am sure he wasn’t using his full power”
“I know that.”
The voice did not come from one direction. It was coming from beneath Nazar, from behind him, from above him, from his sides, from everywhere.
“So, I am putting together a team. A team that will take care of these threats before it escalates any further. I know it seems kind of stupid, but if we have at least one form of countermeasure, then I am willing to take it.”
“I was told you didn’t care about anything?”
Nazar chuckled.
“Well, I would be lying if I said I didn’t care about anything. I want to keep Earth safe. I want to keep my sister safe. I want to keep those close to me safe.”

“Good luck with that.”
“So, are you in or are you out?”
“Why me?”
Nazar looked confused by that question.
“Why choose me? I nearly killed you.”
“That is true but Reaper told me why you were doing that. ”
The lava beneath Nazar’s feet vanished. The planet was actually a desert-like planet, with nothing but sand.
A being made of pure energy appeared. It was multiple forms of energies having human-like shape.
“A long time ago, Iget experimented on you and turned you into what you are. Ever since then, the only place for you was Jabalot Empire. So, to live in there, you had to make yourself useful.”
“But… I tried to kill you. How can you forgiv--”
Nazar turned around and saw the person behind him.
“The thing is, if you hadn’t killed me then, things would have been different. I wanted to die and you gave me just that.” Nazar smiled. “It also helped me understand that death is something pathetic and not something that I would want. So, thanks.”
“...”
“Anyway, you don’t have to give me an answer now. I will meet you tomorrow.”
Nazar sent a telepathic message to the person in front of him.
“Go to these coordinates if you accept my proposal.”
“Okay.”
“Thanks, Meltdown.”
Earth:
Nazar appeared in his home. He appeared in the living room. He was looking down at the small screen on his wrist.
“Solace, is it ready?”
- Yes, Master. -
“Then initiate it.”
The screen then vanished.
Just as Nazar was about to sit down, he heard a raging storm.
KRAKABOOM!!
He heard a raging storm.
Nazar sighed.
He knew what the storm was before even investigating it. Plus, it was summer and it was sunny, so this kind of raging storm was a little too unusual.
- Master, it is Norse God. He is in trouble. -
But why would he be in trouble? He is easily the second most powerful person on the face of the planet.
As soon as Nazar heard that, he vanished into thin air.
He appeared a mile above the ground and scanned the area. He has a power which can allow him to track other people with superpowers, but he does not use that at all. It messes up his normal senses.
As he was scanning, he found himself being thrown into the ground. He looked around to see that someone has used Norse God to his Nazar. Whoever the person was, they had thrown Norse God towards Nazar.
Nazar regained his balance just before he was about to make contact with a house. When stopped, Eddie seemed like he was about to lose consciousness. However, with his healing, he should be back in no time.
Nazar kept looking around, but he could not see anyone.
Nazar landed on the ground and placed Eddie.
Before Nazar could react, he was hit by an invisible attack, that had thrown him away.
Nazar tried to regain his balance but he was hit again.
After a few hits, Nazar regained his balance. He found himself in the middle of the city.
He scanned the area but he did not see anyone or anything.
Suddenly, he jumped 10 meters into the air.
“Did you really think a speed attack will work on me again?”
He did not land.
WHOOSH!!
He heard the sound again.
Instead of flying higher, he just landed on the ground.
He looked around for a few seconds, but he was not attacked.
He was in the middle of the road, so there were people watching him.
(Nigh-Omni--)
“It’s been a while.”
A voice came from behind him.
He turned around immediately and was frozen in his place.
The person in front of him had white hair, red eyes, and white skin. She was about 1.70 M tall. She looked like she was in her early 20s. She was…
“Alice…?” Nazar muttered slowly under his breath.
“Yes, it is me,” Alice said as he pointed at her face.
“But yo--”
“Dead? Pfft. Did you forget that I am a half demon?”
She has never said that, but Nazar had deduced that if she was to be the daughter of a demon, then she would be a demon or half demon.
“Now, then,” Alice’s face was ripped in half with a very thin smile. “Let’s settle some stuff between us.”
“Wha…?”
Alice shot herself like a rocket towards Nazar.
It took Nazar a second to realise what was happening.
Before he could do anything, he was hit in the face with a punch.
He was thrown away for a few meters.
“Oh, come on. I thought you would at least try to protect yourself.”
Nazar slowly stood up.
“I know you are angry with me, but can we talk this out?”
Nazar was the reason why Alice had been killed.
“Angry? With you? Why would I?”
Nazar was completely dumbfounded.
“Huh?”
“When I said ‘settle some stuff’, I didn’t mean things that happened in the past.”
“...?”
“I am looking for a worthy opponent, who can fight me without me having an advantage over them. So, I thought you fit the criteria.”
“...?” Nazar was frozen in his place due to confusion.
“Is this too hard for you to understand?”
“If… if you are a demon, then wouldn’t an angel will be a worthy opponent for you?”
“Well, you see, I am a half demon, but I am not half human.”
“...?”
“Well, my mother was an angel.”
“...”
Nazar had a blank expression on his face.
“Wait, is Aarin your mother?”
“What? No,” Alice replied immediately. “She always thought of you as her son. And if she was my mother, then we would be kind of like siblings. But then you always thought of me as a mother. So...”
Nazar and Alice both held their heads in their hands.
“Relationships are weird.”
They said this in unison.
“I miss the days when I didn’t have to worry about it,” Nazar added.
“Really?”
“No.” Nazar took a small pause. “Wait, so who is your mother?”
“Apparently, it was a low-class angel and my father had summoned her. She was tortured and raped. She was being kept in a prison that he had built for her until I was born. After I was born, she was killed. But of course, she was resurrected after a while. Angels and demons don’t really die.”
“Th-that’s a very dark backstory… but how you said it so casually just killed it.”
“So, I am a half demon and half angel. However, I am a little different. Using my unique physiology, I gain an immediate advantage over both angels and demons. I can kill them pretty easily.”
A Curtana-like sword appeared in Alice’s hand.
“So, this is why I am here. To fight a worthy opponent.”
“Oh, I really like that pale purple energy around it.”
“I know right? It looks awesome.” She swung the sword in her hand.
Nazar raised his eyebrows and nodded.
“Now then, let’s fight.”
“Seriously?” Nazar frowned.
“Seriously.”
A thin smile ripped Nazar’s face in half.
“Oh?”
A Curtana-like sword appeared in his hand too. It has similar pale purple energy surrounding the sword.
“Stop copying me.”
“Okay, I will change its colour.”
As he said that, it went from pale purple to light blue.
Alice found herself confused.
“This? It is easy. I can manipulate the colours of energies. As it cannot be seen, I just give it a random colour.”
Alice looked impressed.
She charged towards Nazar at high speed and Nazar did the same.
CLANG!!
Sparks flew by as the two swords clashed in the middle of the city for absolutely no reason.
