Arc 66 - Earth-2

Earth-2. To everyone else, it is known as Universe-2, but Nazar decided that he and his AI would call it Earth-2. This universe was the second universe in the multiverse. Unlike Earth Prime, this reality is much different. For example, Earth has been turned into a new hell.

Nazar and Laura looked towards the red planet. Earth-2 is a fiery and red world.

“Earth is the new hell...” Nazar said.

“Wait, what?”

“I don’t know… but we need to find out what happened. Solace, track him.”

- Okay, Master. -

“Him?” Laura tilted her head in puzzlement.

“This world’s Nazar.”

After a minute or so, Solace spoke.

- Found him. -

“Teleport him here.”

- Okay, Master. -

As soon as Solace said that, a new figure showed up on the moon.

He looked like Nazar… but he was different. This Nazar looked worn out. He had wrinkles around his skin, even though he was the same age as Nazar. His clothes looked like they had not been changed in years.

As the figure appeared, he looked around in confusion. And even more, when he saw someone similar to him.

“What happened here?” Nazar asked.

Nazar (of Earth-2) looked around in confusion. He tried to move his lips, but nothing came out.

“Tch. Solace, what’s wrong with him?”

- He needs nourishment. And he is badly injured. -

“Oh,” Nazar said as his hand lit up with green energy.

The green energy then travelled towards Nazar (of Earth-2).

After a few seconds, the wrinkles on his skin vanished and he looked so much like Nazar now, except for a little facial here and there.

Nazar waved his hand once more and clothes appeared on the other Nazar.

Nazar (Earth-2) looked at himself and then Nazar in confusion.

“Wh-who are you?” Nazar (of Earth-2) asked.

“I am Nazar from another universe.”

“O-oh?”

“Tell me, what happened here?”

“Okay...”

Earth-2:

In this world, Nazar was born like any normal child. Unlike, Earth-1, this Nazar was not born in a lab, he was born in a normal hospital.

When he was about 1 month old, a being appeared before him. Nazar was the only one who could see it. This being touched him and Nazar was no longer normal. He was special.

After some time, his parents found out and they took Nazar and placed him in a lab. Their research until now was useless. And their life's work has been paid.

They started experimenting on him from an early age. They tried to find the source of his power and tried to recreate others like him.

Alice and Aarin and some others tried to save Nazar from Zerathos. However, they failed. All of them were killed, except for Aarin, as she was not saving him directly.

Since they failed, Nazar was thrown into an even deeper prison. They experimented on him for 10 more years. However, they failed. They could not clone him. They could not empower others. They could not pass on his powers to others. They could not explain his powers. Nothing worked.

In 2015, Nazar was finally removed from the prison. He finally saw the light of the day. He finally saw the outside world that Alice wasted so long explaining to him.

Once he came out, he was in the middle of a small inhabited island. It looked like a tourist attraction.

He looked around and he saw nothing but tourists. He also saw hotels, restaurant, bars and other similar places. He did not know what they were… but for the first in a long time, he smiled as he looked around.

“Nazar?”

A voice came through. Nazar looked around and saw no one, but he was hearing a voice.

“Nazar?” The voice came through.

“Y-yes?” Nazar replied slowly.

Nazar looked around a little more and saw a girl in a bikini. She was wearing a one-piece swimsuit. She was also wearing a sun hat, too.

“This is your mission,” the woman said as she handed him a piece of paper.

As soon as he got the paper, he looked down at it.

A few seconds later, he looked up, she was not around.

Nazar read through the paper.

“So, I have to go to the top floor of the biggest hotel...” Nazar looked around for a second. “Oh, that building.”

He pointed to the biggest hotel building. It was a 10-floor building.

As soon as he said that out loud, he moved at supersonic speed. Within seconds, he was at his destination.

He then looked at the paper once more.

“So, I have to go to Room 626?”

He moved at supersonic speed once more.

Everyone around the hotel heard a sonic boom. And the windows shattered to pieces.

He arrived in front of the room. He punched it and it shattered.

He entered through the shattered door and saw a man and a woman. They were both naked and were lying on the bed.

“So, I have to kill both of them?”

As he said that out loud, he went closer to the targets.

They shouted as much as they could, but no help came.

Nazar picked up one of them and cracked their neck. Then he used his heat vision to fry the other one. He then put fire to the whole room.

As he did that, a member of staff came through. He looked around in horror but Nazar punched a hole through his chest.

He then flew through the roof, which led to the roof collapsing on the top floor.

Nazar flew out of Earth’s orbit. He came down like a meteor. Within minutes, everyone on the island was dead.

Nazar floated where the ruins of the island. His eyes were lit up with red energy.

“I hate happy people,” Nazar shouted.

As soon as he shouted that, he was forcefully teleported into his prison once more.

His prison was a massive room with nothing in it, except for a small bed. He immediately sat on his bed.

Zerathos, or as people like to call him, William Brown, walked closely towards Nazar.

He stood in front of him and punched him. However, Zerathos’ hand did not break, like Nazar was expecting.

He had special gloves on his hands that increased his strength significantly.

“YOU HAD ONE JOB!”

Zerathos shouted in Nazar’s face as he punched him over and over again.

“YOU WERE JUST SUPPOSED TO KILL TWO PEOPLE! THAT’S IT!”

Nazar was getting punched, but he was not being hurt by any of the punches.

After a few minutes, Zerathos left.

After 1 year of training, Nazar was sent on another mission. However, it ended no differently from the first one.

In 2017, he was sent on many different missions. His kills were restricted to just 1. After many failures, he finally returned from his first successful mission.

The mission was to kill a government official. That government official was going against Zerathos. Nazar managed to slip through the government official's security, without anyone knowing. He killed the person and came out without any problems.

After a week, he was sent to take down a US military base in Afghanistan. No one ever found out how it happened.

Two weeks later, he managed to take down hundreds of fighter jets of Russia.

In the next few months, he destroyed a few islands who were harbouring terrorists.

At the beginning of 2018, he killed everyone in North Korea. He also destroyed everything the country.

The public did not know how it happened but some people, just a few people, saw a human flying or saw something moving at the speed of sound or even faster.

In March 2018, Nazar was teleported into the headquarters of the UN, Zerathos’ office. His throne room.

Nazar looked around in confusion.

“I have a special kind of mission for you.”

“Hm?” Nazar replied without looking at him.

“It is a special request from your parents.”

“Those bastards? I refuse it.”

“There is a bomb in a college. They want you to diffuse it.”

“What am I, a bomb squad?”

“It is not a mission for the bomb, it a different kind of mission. We want to see how well you can blend in and how well you can control yourself in a situation like that.”

Nazar frowned as heard that.

“Fine,” Nazar replied slowly.

Zerathos handed him a file.

“This is the mission brief.”

Nazar took it and teleported out.

Nazar appeared in his prison again.

He found his mother waiting for him.

“How did you like the mission?”

“Shut your whore mouth, you bitch!”

“Learn how--”

Before she could finish her sentence, Nazar held her high by her neck. She struggled to breathe.

“I so want to kill you… but before that, I want to turn your life into a living hell.”

“P...plea--”

“Please?” Nazar gritted his teeth and tilted his head a little. “Remember when I said please? REMEMBER?”

“I...”

“You know when was the last time I saw you? It was 10 years ago. I have been waiting for this day for years.”

Nazar let go of her neck and she fell to the ground.

She started to cough.

Nazar kicked her in her sides.

She was thrown away. And started to cough blood too.

“Get the fuck out of my face… and wait for the day when I kill you. Don’t you dare die before that.”

There was no reply.

“Do you hear me, bitch?”

“Y-yes...”

“Then get the fuck out of here.”

As soon as she left, Nazar punched the closest wall to him. However, it did not do any damage.

The next day, he teleported somewhere to complete his mission.

He was teleported to London and into a college.

When he appeared at the reception, he handed them a letter. He did not even bother checking it, but the receptionist did not ask any questions.

Nazar was given a visitor’s ID. It had his picture on it and his full name. The original name his parents given to him.

“Tch.”

Nazar took out the temporary card and burnt his surname. Only his name was left.

He looked at the mission brief once more, he rolled his eyes.

“So, I have to go to the science department? And sit down in the class like an idiot?”

Nazar sighed.

He walked through a hallway until he reached his destination.

He reached the right room and stood in front of the door. He sighed and opened. As he opened the door, everyone looked at him in confusion.

“Oh, you must be Nazar ****,” the teacher said.

Nazar clenched his fist.

“Just call me Nazar,” Nazar said coldly.

“Okay.”

The teacher took notice of that and called him Nazar.

Nazar sat down at a desk at the back of the room.

Everyone looked at him in confusion.

“Well… uh… he is a student that will only be here for today. It is a special request from his college.”

Nazar looked at his surroundings. He saw people he has never met.

However, if he was in a different universe, he would know one of them. Emily Jones. She was sitting right next to him.

“Where was I?” The teacher said slowly. “Ah. Yes. We were talking about waves. There are different forms of waves--”

“Waves, huh?” Nazar said. “What is this? Grade school? I knew these things when I was 10.”

“Not everyone is a genius, smart-ass,” Emily said.

Nazar looked at her, with a little smirk on his face.

“I am not a genius… I think.”

(Damn. She is kind of hot.) Nazar thought. (Wait, what does ‘hot’ even mean? I just heard someone say it once. When I asked them, he said it means beautiful.)

“So, who are you?”

“The name is Nazar. And that is the only thing anyone would ever know about me.”

“Ahem. Can we get back to the lesson?” The teacher said.

“Yes, go ahead,” Nazar said. “I thought colleges were supposed to be hard.”

“Which college are you from?” Emily whispered to him.

“No idea...”

Emily tilted her head in puzzlement.

“You are a weird one.”

Nazar looked around using his x-ray vision. After a few minutes, he smiled.

“Found it,” he said very slowly.

Nazar stood up and started to walk out.

“Um… Mr--Nazar? Where are you going?”

“This class? I already know it. I knew it was a waste from the beginning.”

“A-ah. Th-then, good luck in your exams.”

"Exams? What is that?"

Nazar skipped through the hallway as soon as he left the room. He was also humming.

He reached the location where the bomb was.

It was in the hallway, next to the science department.

He slammed his fist into the ground and uncovered the bomb. In less than a minute, he had diffused the bomb.

“Hmm… this was too easy,” Nazar muttered.

“So, what are you doing?”

A voice behind him said.

(Damn it.)

Nazar sighed.

(She is going to die, so I might as well tell her.)

“There was a bomb here. I diffused it.”

Emily’s eyes widened in shock.

“B-b-b-b-bomb?”

“Don’t worry, I diffused it. It is safe now.”

“Wh-who are you?”

Nazar smiled.

“I am Nazar.”

“No… it cannot be...”

“...?”

“There is a rumour online of a super soldier.”

Nazar laughed.

“Seriously?”

“It is not real, is it?”

“Of course not. I am part of a secret organisation.”

Emily took out her phone.

Without thinking, Nazar shot the phone with his heat vision.

“Damn it,” Nazar muttered.

“So… so, the rumours--”

“I guess so.”

Emily raised her hand to her mouth.

“Oh god--”

“There is no such thing as god. If there was, he would have helped a long time ago.”

(Damn it… she needs to die...) Nazar smiled. (But I can play with her a little, can’t I?)

Nazar went closer to Emily.

He went held her close and kissed her.

A few seconds later, he removed his lips from hers and made a disgusted expression.

“Ugh… kissing is disgusting. Why do people always do it? Ugh… I can never get this shitty taste out of my mouth.”

Nazar then looked at Emily closely.

“Hmm… you have no chest or butt, but your face is 10/10.”

“S-stay away,” Emily said as she held her palm out.

“No one will hear you from here. No one is going to see or hear you. I made sure of that.”

“Wh-what are going to--”

“Nothing. I just want to get a close look at you.”

Emily finally felt that she had made a mistake by coming after him.

Nazar slammed his foot in the ground.

A few pieces of the concrete flew up and Nazar held it.

He then threw it towards Emily at full speed and it flew through her.

Within seconds, she was bombarded with small pieces of concrete.

“She really was beautiful,” Nazar muttered.

He picked up a phone and contacted his boss, Zerathos.

“There is a body here,” Nazar said as soon as Zerathos picked up the phone.

“The energy signature is gone… did you kill her?”

“What? Who?”

“Shit. You were sent there to analyse an energy signature and we sent you there to investigate it. We wanted you to look into it and what could it mean. Did you even read the mission brief?”

“Just until the bomb. And why make things so complicated? You could have just told me.”

“Ugh… why can’t you do one thing properly? We lost a potential weapon.”

Nazar felt something off.

“Just take care of this body.”

Nazar cut off the phone.

He held his chest like it pained.

“Wh--what is happening?”

He managed to walk out of the college without anyone noticing him.

He started to cough blood. And then he soon collapsed.

Once he woke up, he found himself in a hospital room.

He looked around and saw Zerathos in the room.

“You are powerless now. You don’t have anything that makes you special. Goodbye.”

“Wait. Don’t leav--”

“You were always a liability.”

Zerathos walked to the corner, where Nazar’s parents were standing.

“The nanites are in his system. If his powers return, we will know,” Nazar’s mother said.

“So, his energies are gone?” Zerathos asked.

“Yes. Nothing is left,” Nazar’s father said.

“Damn it,” Zerathos muttered. “Just leave him to rot.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

As they said that, all three of them teleported out.

Nazar then left the hospital after a few days. He left the hospital room and entered a new and unknown world. He had no idea what to do in the world and how to do anything.

He wandered around London like a homeless man for more than a year.

By the end of June 2019, Zerathos defeated Aarin in another dimension and he got his powers back. Using his power, Zerathos turned Earth into a new hell.

And ever since then, most of the population has been turned into the undead. A small part of the population has remained human. And Nazar is one of them.

Now:

Nazar (of Earth-2) was sitting on the moon.

Nazar slammed his foot into the ground and many pebbles shot up towards Nazar of (of Earth-2).

However, it stopped just before it hit him.

“Should I slam these into you too?”

“You should. I have been meaning to die for a long time, but that bastard saved me every time. He… he left me alive because he wanted to see me suffer. And he left my parents alive too. They would come occasionally and tell me how much of a failure I was.”

“...”

“They would always tell me how I should have killed them when I had a chance. And would tell me how I will never have a chance after this.”

Nazar (of Earth-2) looked up.

“Can you please end it for me? I want it all gone. I want to die.”

“No.”

“Wh-- Please?”

“I said no. Death is the easy way out.”

“You do sound like a hypocrite.”

“Thanks, Laura.”

“So, what are you going to do now, Nazar?” Laura said.

He sighed. And then he thought for a while.

“I will...”

“You are not going leave things like this, are you?”

“Damn it, Laura. Stop putting me in difficult situations.”

“Difficult situations? I am not. I just thought you might want to kill that demon. As you said, you left that angel to kill him in our world.”

“I see. My bad.”

“So, what are you going to do with me?” Nazar of (of Earth-2) said.

“I… I don’t know.”

Nazar looked at the red planet once more.

“Let’s go.”

“Let’s go?” Nazar (of Earth-2) sounded confused.

And Laura just smiled. She knew what Nazar was going to do.

“We are going to make a deal with the devil.”

“Wait, what?” Laura sounded surprised. She had thought wrong.

All three of them teleported into New York, the place where Zerathos live.

All the buildings in the city have been destroyed. The whole city is on fire.

Times Square is where Zerathos is.

He has made a throne from skeletons and is sitting on top of him.

“Wh-why are we not burning?”

“I have placed a barrier around you, dumb Nazar.”

“Look who's talking,” Laura said.

“You know, I could remove your barrier and you would burn.”

“You wouldn’t kill me, would you?”

“Damn it, you got me there.”

They walked for a few minutes and reached their target, Zerathos.

“Nazar?” A woman’s voice reached both Nazars. “Or Nazars?”

“Ah. The bitch who brought us to this world,” Nazar (of Earth-2) said.

She was not like the other undead. After Nazar analysed her, he found out that she was still a human.

“I see, she is a bitch is every reality.”

“Is this how you talk to y--”

“Shut your whore mouth, you bitch,” Nazar (of Earth-2) said.

“Hmm… two Nazars? From another reality, I assume,” Zerathos finally spoke.

He was a crimson demon with grey wings.

“You are right, demon,” Nazar said.

“In your reality, did I win?”

“Who knows?” Nazar shrugged.

“...?”

“Let’s make a deal, demon.”

“Ah?”

“If I defeat you one-on-one, you never return to Earth. Or any other planet in this universe.”

“And what if I win?”

“I will become your slave.”

“Nazar? Wh--”

“Come on, have a little trust in me, Laura.”

Zerathos stood from his throne.

“Fine. I am a middle-class demon. You are nothing to me.”

“Solace, does the same rules apply to this universe? Like reality warping?”

- Yes. Once you changed the rules of Universe-1, all other universe followed soon in the multiverse. It is because all universes in the multiverse take their rules from Universe-1 AKA Universe Prime. So, feel free to use reality warping, if you want. -

Nazar smiled.

Zerathos came close to him. He stood right in front of him.

An energy sword appeared in Nazar’s right hand.

“You are different from this Naz-- What?”

While Zerathos was speaking, the whole world changed around him. The place was red no more.

“What? What is--”

“Reality warping.”

“R-reality warping? Th-that’s dangero--”

“Not anymore. I changed the laws of the universe and the multiverse too.”

“Wh-what?”

The whole world changed in an instant again. The planet was turned into a grassland. Then a desert. Then an ocean. And then back to the red and fiery planet.

Nazar moved at supersonic speed and managed to remove all the limbs and wings of the demon in front of him.

Zerathos fell to the ground.

Nazar stood above him.

“I manipulated your physiology. Made you as weak as a human. And made myself stronger using reality warping.”

Zerathos moved his lips but no words came out.

“I win, demon. Get the hell out of here and never return.”

The demon did not say anything.

“Ever return to this world, and then you will immediately become human. You will never have your powers in this universe.”

Nazar then went through Zerathos’ body. He was chopped into pieces.

“The whole world is already destroyed. So, there is no need to hold back.”

Nazar’s body then lit up with energy. He unleashed that energy across the whole world. Once the energy touched the void within the undead, they blew up. He unleashed another form of energy that destroyed the little marble like things inside the undead.

It only took less than a minute.

Only about a million people were left and those were all humans who were not turned into undead. Nazar’s parents included.

“Wh-what happened?” Nazar (of Earth-2) said in confusion.

Earth-2 Nazar’s parents looked around in confusion.

“Nazar?” Nazar said to Nazar (of Earth-2). “You can kill them but let me play a little with them, okay?”

“O-okay.”

“Nazar? What are you doing?” Laura said.

Nazar just smiled.

Nazar (of Earth-2) parents were just about hundred meters away from Nazar.

He moved at supersonic speed and stood before Nazar (of Earth-2)’s parents.

“I always wanted to kill you… but my sister won’t allow me to kill anyone.”

“So, your sister survived in that reality?” Nazar (of Earth-2)’s father spoke.

Nazar’s eyes widened in surprise.

“S-sister?”

“You don’t know?” Nazar (of Earth-2)’s mother laughed. “This is amazing. Oh, this is grea--arghhh!!”

Nazar severed her arms with the energy sword.

He then did the same to Nazar (of Earth-2)’s father, too.

He then looked at Nazar (of Earth-2).

“They are all yours. I say, just kill them.”

The other Nazar picked up a bone from the ground. He walked towards his parents.

They were laying down on the floor, so Nazar (of Earth-2) crouched down next to them.

He then started slamming the bone into them. He slammed the bone into their heard and their skulls too.

After a few minutes, a bloodied Nazar (of Earth-2) stood up. He looked at Nazar.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”

“Was it alright to do that?” Laura asked.

“Yes. It was the best thing ever.”

Nazar tapped his left palm and a small screen appeared.

“I guess its time to leave this universe. We did not learn anything except that I had a younger sibling.”

Nazar was about to leave, but he stopped.

“Solace, transform the world. Make it inhabitable once more. Let them rebuild the way they want.”

- Okay, Master. -

“How are you going to do that?” Laura asked.

“Solace is going to manipulate the environment. And return it the way it was.”

Nazar and Laura teleported to the moon once more. They saw the world change physically.

Laura’s jaw dropped and Nazar just smiled.

“Holy shit… this is-- wait, why are you no in awe of this?”

“I have seen it before.”

“When?”

“When Aria manipulated reality.”

“But this is different.”

“It is, but I have seen the Earth change physically a few times already. Even if it was just reality warping, it still changes. And I just did it like 3 times today.”

“Oh.”

They just waited for Solace to finish her job.

After a while, Solace was done with everything she had to do.

- Done. -

“Thanks, Solace.”

- Now, onto the next universe. -

A portal opened and they stepped through it.

The appeared on the moon of Earth-3.

- Welcome to Earth-3. -

Nazar and Laura looked at the world before them. It was a normal planet… but something was different. There were hundreds and hundreds of spaceships hovering the Earth.
