Arc 96 - Godslayers (Part 7)

Nazar was now in Bradley Conglomerate HQ, in London.

He made Ishaya feel all the negative emotions in the city, but it turned out to be someone else. It was Reaper.

Reaper was laughing and Nazar was beyond confused.

“You know that man,” Reaper pointed to his right and Nazar followed his finger movement and saw Ishaya standing at the corner, “he has the audacity to try and hire me as his killer. He, of course, wanted me to kill you but I told him no. However, I find him pretty interesting, so I can’t have you kill him.”

Reaper stopped laughing.

“I mean, he tried to hire me to kill you by offering me Earth money. That is very interesting.”

“Are you fucking kidding me?”

“No, I am not.”

Nazar gave him a blank look.

“So, when did you replace him?”

“Just before you touched him.”

“I see.”

Nazar waved his hand and Ishaya was thrown away. He flew through the wall of the building and then started to fall over.

Reaper immediately jumped over and caught him.

Solace appeared once more.

“Nazar, stop doing what you are doing.”

Nazar looked at her.

“I was not doing anything.”

“Do you know all the reasons you created me?”

“Maybe.”

“One of them was to stop you if you ever go too far.”

“But can you really stop me?”

“...I can try.”

Nazar took a deep breath.

“And I was not going to kill him. I was just going to scare him.”

“Just like how you are scared of the Nameless One?”

Nazar lowered his gaze.

“...”

“You said the other day if your victims felt the same way. So, are you sure you want them to feel like that again?”

“Shut up,” Nazar said so slowly that it was barely audible.

“Really? That is all you have to say?”

Reaper landed next to Nazar with Ishaya next to him.

“Destroying his company would just send most people into despair and so much bad things will happen. His products are helping the world,” Solace said.

Ishaya’s expression became a little relaxed.

“Plus, he has been working with the US and British and German governments, so even if you let them arrest him, they won’t do it. The biggest fault in all of this is their fault. He just gave them the powersuits.”

“I see.”

He started to float.

“But if you or anyone else ever use a method like this again to try and get to me, I will give you a fate that is worse than death. I can promise you that.”

Nazar flew through the roof.

Once he flew out of there, Solace soon followed him.

Once Nazar was high enough, he waved his hand and everything he destroyed today were fixed back.

“Nazar,” Solace said.

“Don’t follow me!”

Nazar flew off so fast that Solace lost track of him immediately.

He was so fast, so Solace gave up trying to track him.

Nazar flew in the dark space. He flew faster and faster and faster until he reached a planet where no one lived there.

He could have teleported there but instead he just wanted to fly and clear his mind.

He landed on the planet.

It was a blue planet. It had no water at all, but almost all of this planet’s inhabitants were sea based animals. They were literally flying in the air as if they were swimming in the ocean.

Nazar sat on the ground and looked up.

He saw all these sea animals moved above him.

When he is in emotional distress, he always goes to the ocean and sits at the bottom of the ocean. He then looks up and clears his mind.

And now he is doing the same.

“What am I doing?”

He closed his eyes.

And he stopped thinking completely. There was nothing going on in his mind.

He then opened his eyes.

He stayed there for 24 hours.

He just sat there. Not talking, or thinking. There was nothing in his mind. No words. No numbers. No memories. Nothing.

And he was not blinking either.

It was like he was meditating.

Yet…

Yet, he would occasionally see the Nameless One taunting him.

Another 24 hours passed by.

And he finally blinked. The reason was simple. Because Emma appeared before him.

“Hm?”

“Wow. This place is awesome,” Emma said as she looked around.

“Yes, it really is.”

“So, what are you doing here?”

“Just trying to keep some stuff off my mind.”

Nazar stood up.

“Come home, will you? You have gone for a while now.”

“Is anything wrong?”

“No.”

“Has there been any more attacks on the schools?”

“No.”

“...”

“Why did you run away again?”

“I just… I just thought I should clear my mind. I thought it will be better to stay away for a little while--”

“Or is it because you were going to nearly kill someone and could not face me?”

“...”

“I don’t know why you need to prove yourself to me. I will always love you no matter what you do, but I just wish that you become better one day. Not for my sake or anyone one else’s sake, but for YOUR own sake. I asked you not to kill people and surprisingly, you ACTUALLY did what I asked. You have no killed anyone yet. And Solace showed me a video of what happened. You knew… that other guy will save him, right?”

Nazar did not know what to say.

“I am not going to pretend I understand what you are going through, but can you come back? Please?”

“...Okay.”

Nazar took a deep breath.

“Do you want to stay for a little while and look around a little?”

Emma looked around her and looked impressed.

“This place is beautiful, but how am I breathing in water?”

“Um… there is no water on this planet.”

“Huh?” Emma gave him a confused looked.

“It looks like there is water but there is no such thing as water. These species can survive because of this world’s atmosphere. If you are on this planet, you can survive without water.”

“Woah!”

“Yep. Some planets are awesome.”

They stayed there for a few minutes, just looking at the view.

“Shall we go?” Emma said.

“Ah, yes.”

And then they vanished into thin air.

They appeared in their home.

It was Thursday, 12th of September 2019 now.

“Shouldn’t you be at college?”

“I finish early on Thursdays.”

“I see.”

Nazar sat down on the sofa.

Solace appeared in the room as well.

“So, what happened when I was gone?”

“Nothing. Nothing bad anyway,” Solace said.

“Hm?”

“Well, the blame went on to a new terrorist group they call Godslayers. Ishaya and everyone else is safe. No one knows what they have done.”

“Well, that was expected.”

Emma sat down next to him.

“So, where have you been?”

“Well, I had to find Laura’s brother’s family in another universe then returned on Tuesday. I then went to space to try and find some people. But could not. So, I came here and the whole thing with the power suits started.”

“And then you went to that planet?”

“Yes.”

“It was a really nice planet. Do you go there usually?”

“No. It was my first time.”

“Then, how did you know so much about it?”

“I just analysed it as I was talking to you about it.”

“Wow,” Emma seemed impressed.

Solace waved her hand and something appeared in it.

“Here, Nazar,” Solace said as she handed him a box of chicken wings. “I thought you would be hungry.”

“Ah, thanks.”

“Wait, where is mine?” Emma said.

Solace waved her hand and another box appeared.

“Here.”

“Thanks. But wait, is this not stealing?”

“I paid for it. I just add it to their account and teleport it here. They won’t notice its gone.”

“I guess I understand...”

“Don’t think too hard about it. You will just be wasting time.”

She took a bite of the chicken wing and…

“Wow, this is spicy.”

“And that what makes it tasty.”

“True.”

They just sat there and ate it.

Once it was done, Emma ran to the fridge and took out a bottle of water.

She came back to the room, drinking from the bottle.

She sat down and let out a sigh of relief.

“That was very spicy.”

“Then why did you eat it?”

“Because it was also tasty.”

Nazar laughed.

“Fwah! The water is nice.”

Nazar waved his hand and…

“Aaah?! Why did it turn into cola? And now my tongue burns.”

“Who knows,” Nazar said as he shrugged.

“NAZAR!!”

“What? I have not done anything.”

“Aaah! It burns.”

Nazar laughed.

He then touched her shoulder and healed her.

“Or you shouldn’t have done that in the first place?”

“It was funny, though.”

“How did you do this anyway?”

“There is a cola in the fridge. I just swapped their content.”

“But WHY?!?!”

“Because it was funny.”

“Yeah, right...”

Emma stood up.

“Can you do my homework for me?”

Nazar gave her a blank look.

“What am I? Your salve?”

“Yes. Now do it!”

“Well… it was my fault for saying that I would help you. So… Fine.”

She handed him a few papers from her bag.

“Here.”

Emma turned around and tried to leave but...

“Done.”

She turned around again and took the papers from him. Once she looked through it, she seemed surprised.

“Seriously?! I thought it would take much longer.”

“Haha. I always hated homeworks so I would finish them immediately. And with my increased speed, I can finish it within a second.”

“This is no fun.”

“Yeah, homeworks are no fun.”

“That’s not what I meant.”

“I know.”

Emma left the room.

“Nazar?” Solace said.

“Yes?”

“How did they know your energies?”

“I was careless. I have concealed my energies now. No one - I mean no one - can track my energies. Magic, tech, superpowers, etc. None of them can track me now.”

“So, what are you going to do now?”

Nazar narrowed his eyes a little.

“I am going to meet that ‘space hero’. And learn more about the creatures of the Void.”

Nazar clenched his fist.

“And I am going throw him back into the abyss.”

New York City - Bradley Conglomerate HQ:

Ishaya was not alone. He was in the room with someone else.

“Have you found anything about why he goes to Italy a lot?” Ishaya asked.

“We went to the exact same place. A woman lives there.”

“Is she human?”

“Yes. She has human physiology and does not have any superhuman energies within her.”

“Magic?”

“Don’t think so.”

Ishaya thought about it for a minute.

“Can we use her against him?”

“Well, he is not back from… wherever he went.”

“I see.”

“Well, just keep a close eye on the woman. See what their relationship is.”

“What if… What if he has built an underground place and he just phases through it or there is an entrance but she does not know about it?”

Ishaya gave him a confused look.

“That… That is just a possibility, sir. So, you--”

“No, it could be possible.”

Ishaya thought for a minute or so.

“Damn it, if he ever tells anyone about this, our company is fucked.”

The other person did not reply.

Reaper teleported into his office.

“Hello, human,” Reaper said immediately.

“What do you want, alien?”

“I have to say, you have guts. I could blow up this whole planet easily… but I am not here to brag. I am here to tell you something. If you mess with Nazar, you are risking more than a planet. You are risking everything in existence.”

Ishaya’s eyes winded.

“Let me tell you a secret.”

He listened carefully.

“The universe was about to be destroyed completely. He increased my power levels to a point where I left this whole existence behind. I was nearly omnipotent. I fixed the universe the way he told me. And I saw some stuff. Things that will happen or might happen.”

Ishaya gulped.

“In one of the futures I saw, he lays waste to everything. In another, I saw him being the God of this universe. You see, I could no ‘see’ him by myself, but I gathered information from the surrounding areas.”

“Wh-what does that mean?”

“That human has the power to do anything. And I mean anything. So, for the good of your own, your world, your universe and more, don’t mess with him. And if he had killed you today, his love for murder would have reignited.”

“...?”

“You see, I could not really ‘see’ because he is immune to high powers, but I saw a few things. I put the two-and-two together and figures something out. I saw over one hundred futures and most of them end in complete death. And he was responsible.”

Ishaya gulped.

“And if he had killed you today, it might have led to him becoming bloodthirsty again. I am not sure but I am trying to prevent some of these things that will lead to the death of everything.”

Reaper was about to teleport out but said one last thing.

“And forget about killing him. I think you should get on his better side because if you are on his bad side… you get the picture. Also, you might want to drop all of your contracts that involve him or anyone close to him. It’s for your own good.”

Reaper teleported out.

Ishaya thought about it. Thought about what happened and what Reaper told him. And what he should do about these contracts?

Heaven:

Lucifer was now in a dark place of the Heaven. There was no one else in that place except for Lucifer and one more person.

“So, what do you say?” Lucifer said.

“I am not sure.”

“It is time for the angels to die. We need a new system in place. A much better one.”

“Hm?”

“If it was not for that human, everything could have ended. And if the Nameless One had become stronger, even I would not be able to defeat him.”

“So...”

“Yes. The angels could have helped but they did not bother. Michael knew about the Nameless One and what he was up to. However, he told people he had no idea about them. Michael is the leader of angels, so he needs should have saved the universe from the Nameless One. But.”

“Something is wrong. He has not been an angel for a long time. I don’t even know why we need a leader.”

“Yes. So, what do you say, Azazel?”

“...”

“It is time for you to become a fallen angel.”

Azazel is the Angel of Death.

“It's time for the fallen angel uprising.”

“Hm? And why me?”

“You are the Angel of Death. The worst of the worst. Everyone hates you. And besides that, you are easily one of the most powerful of angels but they treat you like a joke. So, what do you say?”

Azazel had grey hair, red eyes and he had chalk-like white skin.

“Fine. I am in,” Azazel said.

His voice was very cold.

When Lucifer heard that, he smiled.

“Then, I shall welcome you to my new legion.”

Lucifer unleashed his six wings.

“Now, then, I shall be coming for you, human.”

And then he flew up.

Azazel went back to heaven as if nothing had happened.
