Arc 99 - Prelude to Fallen Angel Uprising (Part 3)

Sunday, 15th of September 2019:

Nazar appeared in his home. He did not go after the creatures of the void. He took Soar’s advice and took a break.

Once he appeared, he found Emma and Aria sitting down and talking.

“Oh hi, Nazar,” Emma said.

“Hi,” Nazar replied as he sat down.

“Where have you been?”

“Space?”

“And what were you doing?” Aria asked.

“Uh… I met this space hero.”

“The guy who was walking with you this morning?”

“Yes.”

“Why is it we learn from a TV channel or the internet about your return?” Emma asked.

Nazar looked at her and then shrugged.

“Anyway, are you free?”

“Hm?” Nazar gave Emma a confused look.

“If you are free, come out with us. We are going shopping.”

“...”

Nazar just gave her a blank look.

“Mom and dad are busy with their work, so I thought you might help us.”

“I can teleport you there.”

“No. We want to go normally.”

“Then take the bus or the train.”

“...”

“...”

Aria sighed.

“Or you can some with us and have some fun?”

“What’s so fun about shopping?”

“It’s not really shopping. You just go there and look at some stuff and talk and eat and...ooh, we can watch a movie or something.”

Nazar did not know what to say, so he sighed.

“You had me at ‘eat’. So, when are we leaving?”

Both Emma and Aria looked surprised.

“Can you drive?”

“I can but I don’t have a licence.”

“And Solace?”

“Solace can too.”

“Do you really want me to drive, Nazar?” Solace said as she appeared out of thin air.

She does not teleport in but instead takes her physical form whenever she speaks to Nazar.

When Aria saw Solace, her eyes and mouth opened wide.

“Who is this now?”

“Solace. His AI.”

“That is her physical form?!” Aria sounded surprised.

“No. Her other physical form is even funnier. She is wearing a maid uniform in that form,” Emma said as she laughed.

“Seriously?”

“Anyway, so when do you people want to leave?”

“We are ready. We were going to go by ourselves, but then you came in.”

“I wish I had come 2 minutes later,” Nazar said under his breath.

“And as you are barely at home, can I get your room?” Aria said. “I am coming back here.”

Nazar thought about it for a minute.

“Maybe I should buy a bigger house.”

“You need money for that.”

“Oh yeah, I forgot he is a billionaire,” Emma said.

“Wait, seriously?!”

Nazar nodded.

“Where did you get it from?”

“Stole it.”

Aria gave him a blank look.

Her mind went blank for a minute.

“What did you say?”

“I stole it.”

Both Emma and Nazar became confused.

“WHAT?!?!”

“Why is it so hard to believe?”

“I mean, considering his other crimes, this is not so bad, right?”

“I can’t believe you. I always thought you would become a superhero.”

“Wait, so killing someone is nothing compared to stealing?”

“Well… Um… Uh… You see, those guys were powered by demons, right? And then the scientists were basically doing human experiments. So...”

Nazar sighed.

And Emma facepalmed herself.

“I stole it from Zerathos.”

“Oh. Then that is perfectly fine.”

After a few minutes, they left for their ‘shopping trip’.

They took their parents car.

When Nazar first got in the car, he said “I have never driven before. So, here goes nothing...”

“Do you want me to drive instead, Nazar?” Solace said.

“No. I have not driven before, but I ‘can drive’.”

Both Aria and Emma looked confused, but they did not care.

Emma and Aria were sitting at the back and Nazar was driving. They reached their destination after about 30 minutes later or so.

“So, this is the place?” Nazar asked.

“Yes.”

“Wait, you have never been here?”

“...No.”

“He barely ever left home. So...”

They walked around for a little. Nazar was camouflaged, so no one really noticed. He also camouflaged Emma, because everyone else saw her face, so he thought it might cause some problems.

“How much do you have with you?” Aria asked. “I have no money with me.”

“Don’t worry, I got you,” Nazar said.

“I have none either, so thanks,” Emma said.

“Wait, so you were waiting for me to come because you had no money?!”

“We only decided when you came here. So...”

Nazar sighed.

“So, what are you getting?” Nazar asked.

“Some games.”

“And I am getting some clothes,” Aria said.

“You don’t have to. I can give you a device that--”

“Don’t want to.”

“Oookay.”

“Actually, I want to but some clothes too. And so should you, Nazar.”

“Hm?”

“That device is impressive, but it is good to have some clothes.”

“Cool story. But whatever you want and Solace will pay for it. I am hungry.”

Both Emma and Aria sighed.

“When are you no hungry?”

“Space does not have tasty food.”

“Then why are you going there every other Friday?”

“Good question.”

Nazar left them alone and went somewhere to eat.

Then they met up after an hour or so.

“So, what did you--Woah!! That’s a lot of stuff.”

“Can you not carry it?” Emma said.

“What am I, your slave?”

“Well, you are the stronger one.”

Nazar sighed.

“And stop sighing so much.”

“Says you,” Aria said to Emma.

“Huh?”

“You sigh too much as well.”

Nazar sighed again.

“Can you stop sighing?” Aria said to Nazar.

“Wait, I thought you were on my side.”

“Children. I am walking around with children,” Aria said out loud.

Both Nazar and Emma gave her a blank look.

And then Nazar and Emma exchanged glances and sighed, which pissed off Aria.

“Ugh… You guys are annoying.”

They then went home and ate dinner together. Ever since Nazar has returned to Earth from the moon, he has not really done anything like this. Yes, he ate dinner with them and sat in the same room, talked to them, but to go out and have fun? This is his first time.

He went out to have breakfast, but it turned into a fight between a Goddess and Nazar and the others. So, this is the first time that he went out with them and had fun and did not have to deal with problems like that.

It was past midnight now and Nazar was just lying on his bed, thinking about what Soar told him. He told him how those close to him will be gone and he will be left alone. And it could happen any second to them.

He sat up and took out his phone.

He called the unlikeliest person: Laura.

The thing is, they are both dating but Nazar finds it awkward to even talk to her. So, calling her is kind of unusual.

“- This is unusual. -” Laura said as soon as she picked up.

“Just wanted to know how you were doing.”

“- I am good. What about you? -”

“Good.”

“- Anyway, can I talk to you tomorrow? I am kind of busy right now. -”

“Hm?”

“- I need to pack up my stuff as I will be leaving soon. -”

“Ah. Do you need help?”

“- I wouldn’t mind if you did. -”

“Okay. I will help you.”

“- Wait, are you sure you are not having anything perverted planned? -”

“N-no,” Nazar said loud, but luckily he always has his room soundproofed. “Fine. I won’t help then.”

“- No, no. I was just joking. Please come and help. -”

Nazar hang up and teleported out.

He appeared in her house. She was sitting on the floor, in the middle of the room, surrounded by so many different stuff. She was trying to place everything into boxes.

She was sweating, as it was hot and she was wearing shorts and a top. Once Nazar saw sweat pouring down on her breast, he immediately averted his gaze.

“How are you going to carry all of them?” Nazar asked as he looked around.

“I am not. I am going to give some of these to charities and throw some of them away.”

“Ah.”

Nazar looked around the whole house and memorised where everything was.

“Tell me where everything belongs and I will put it for you.”

“That would take longer.”

“I will use telepathy.”

“You sure?”

Nazar nodded.

She thought about where everything was going and Nazar easily managed to pack everything up in less than 10 minutes. It would have taken even less but she was unsure about some stuff.

Once they had placed all of her stuff in boxes, Nazar then placed them in different corners. In one corner, he placed the boxes which she will be taking with herself. In the other corner, he placed the boxes which will be thrown away. And at the other corner were boxes that she would give away.

Once they finished, they sat on the sofa and Laura had prepared hot drinks.

She had a cup to Nazar and started drinking from the other.

“What is this?”

“Hot chocolate.”

“...”

Nazar just stared at it.

“Wait, don’t tell me you have never had hot chocolate either?”

Nazar shook his head.

And Laura sighed.

“This going to be fun,” she said under her breathe.

Nazar then took a sip out of the hot chocolate.

“Better than that coffee.”

“Anyway, why did you suddenly call me in the middle of the night? And offer to help?”

Nazar thought about his answer. Should he tell her what that hero say, or just say something along the lines of; “Well, I missed you”?

He took a deep breath and he had decided what he wanted to tell her.

“You see, I found that ‘space hero’ and he told me something I never thought about before. He told me that I should spend more time with those closest to me. He said you people are mortals so you could die any second but I will be alive.”

“...”

“He told me that I should not do what he did: I should not put the world and the universe before you people.”

It might sound stupid coming from him. Yes, he always has saved the world or the universe because he did it for selfish reasons… but maybe, just maybe, he put the world and the universe before them.

When the demon, Bur’goth had powered up some people, Nazar focused on trying to find them and in the meantime, he lost his only friend, Emily.

Then he went after Bur’goth to try and take ‘revenge’ and he left his family behind. What if something similar had happened to them?

“And you also told me to take a break, so I am going to do just that.”

But will he even catch a break? From the state of current events in other dimensions, it might not be too long until he gets involved. Then what?

“I see. Well, I am glad you came today,” Laura said. “You made this so much easier for me.”

“Well, what if I was not around? Who would have helped you?”

“This is why I started packing on Thursday. I did it slowly and was going to finish before the 16th. That is the day I was leaving.”

“Ah. Wait.”

“Yes. I know. I noticed it too. Tomorrow… or rather today is the 16th, since it is past midnight. And this is why I am still awake until this late.”

“What if I was not here?”

“I was going to stay until morning and try to finish it up.”

“I see.”

Laura placed her cup on the table and stretched.

“So, what do you want to do now?”

“Go home and sleep?”

“Since you helped, you can sleep here.”

“...”

Laura went closer to him and kissed him on his cheek.

“You can sleep in the same bed as me.”

She stood up and started to walk away.

“You know, that is a very small bed, right?”

“You can make it bigger, right?”

She took off her top. And she was not wearing a bra either.

“Y-yes.”

“The do that while I take a shower.”

“...”

She took out her short and threw it on the floor before entering the shower.

(Wow.)

Nazar did not notice he was smiling.

(Wait, why am I getting excited over this?!?!)

A few hours later:

Laura slowly opened her eyes and Nazar was lying next to her. She sat up on the bed and scratched her eyes.

There was no clock in the room, so reached over and try to pick up the phone that was on the small table in the room. However, it was too far away. So, she got up.

Once she picked up the phone and looked at the time, she screamed.

“Aaahhh?!?!”

Nazar opened his eyes immediately and he looked worried. He thought something bad had happened. So, his clothes appeared around him and he stood up.

“What’s wrong?”

“I missed my flight. It was at 7. And it way past 8 right now.”

“Oh. Don’t worry about it. I can teleport you there. And besides--”

“That’s not the problem. The thing is, I need to travel using the plane because it is for my immigration status. They check passport at the university, so I need to stamp it and all. And the enrollment starts at 11.”

“Don’t worry. Solace went this morning, instead of you. She has your passport and she left early this morning. And don’t worry, she shapeshifted to look like you.”

“Ah?”

“So, I can just teleport you there instead.”

Laura let out a sigh of relief.

“Why did she not wake me up?”

“I don’t know. She went and did it without telling me, but she had sent a ‘telepathic message’ to me. And I just found out about it when you screamed.”

Laura sat on the bed.

“Phew. I… I thought I was fucked.”

“You know, if you wanted, I could have faked your status and made it look like you were on that flight.”

“That is a crime.”

Nazar gave her a blank look.

“Thank you,” Laura said as she smiled.

“You don’t have to thank me. You can thank Solace if you want.”

“How did she know what to do?”

“I don’t know... I can ask her.”

Nazar closed his eyes and started a technopathic conversation with Solace.

(“Solace?”)

(“Yes, Nazar?”)

They were talking in binary numbers.

(“Why did you not wake up Laura instead?”)

(“I tried. But she was fast asleep, so I decided it will be for the better if I went on by myself.”)

(“Ah. I see.”)

(“Anyway, I have left most of her stuff there, so you should teleport that.”)

(“Okay.”)

Nazar opened his eyes and their conversation was ended.

“She said she tried to wake you up, but you were fast asleep.”

Laura thought for a minute.

“Oh yeah. I remember something like that. She tried to wake me up and I opened my eyes and then closed it again.”

“She has left your stuff behind. I will teleport it for you.”

“Thanks.”

“And last night, I teleported all the boxes you wanted to give away and place it in front of a charity. And threw all the boxes that should be thrown into the trash.”

“Wow. Thank you so much.”

“It’s cool.”

Nazar waved his hand and clothes appeared around Laura.

She stood up and hugged him.

“Do you know your way around London?”

“No.”

Nazar sighed.

“Let’s go. I will--”

Nazar trailed off.

He touched his head with his palm.

“What’s wrong?”

“Shit. I need to go.”

Nazar teleported Laura and he stuff into his home. Her stuff was not much, so it did not take a lot of places.

“Emma? Are you home?” Nazar said out loud.

“Yes. I am in here.”

Nazar entered the dining room and Emma was sitting with Aria and eating her breakfast.

“Hell-- Oh my,” Aria said when she saw Laura, “if it is not Miss Milk Tanks.”

“I have a problem to take care of, so I can ask you a favour, Emma?”

“Yes, of course,” she replied immediately.

“Don’t go to college today.”

“YES!”

“So, can you take her to the university? She doesn't know her way around the city.”

Emma thought about it for a minute.

“Okay, sure. That’s all?”

“Yes.”

“But which uni?”

Nazar sent her the address telepathically.

“Oh. This is close by.”

“And where are you going?” Aria asked.

“Another Dimension. Will be back soon. And thanks,” Nazar said as he vanished into thin air.

Aria, Emma and Laura were left alone.

Laura felt kind of awkward being alone her. Especially her relationship with Aria, as she used to be her superior when Internal Order was a thing.

“Hi,” Laura said as she awkwardly waved her hand.

Emma sighed.

“Come on, don’t be so awkward.”

“O-okay.”

“So, when do you want to go to the uni?”

“It starts at 11.”

“Ah.”

“Do you have everything you need?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, then, we will leave at 9:30. It's pretty close, but it is good to get there a little earlier.”

“Thanks.”

“No problem.”

She stood up.

“Do you want to have something for breakfast?”

“Ah, yes. Thank you.”

Emma left the room.

“So, you and Nazar, huh?” Aria said to Laura. “Totally did not see that coming.”

“Hm?”

“You two are dating, are you not?”

“Yes.”

Laura replied casually. And if she had asked Nazar, his shoulders would have jerked and he then he would have denied it.

During the Internal Order days, Aria had met Laura when she first joined it. And after that, she was placed inside a specialised room, so Laura had only seen pictures of her after that but Aria had never seen her after that.

They just sat there and talked for a few minutes and then Emma joined them a little later.

Heaven:

Michael was inside a place that resembled a cave.

He entered the dark cave and there were about 20 other angels standing in a circle.

Inside that circle, there was an orb of light.

Once Michael touched the orb and all of the angels fell to the ground. The energy orb consumed all of the angels’ energies.

After a minute or so, only the skeleton of the angels was left.

And Michael smiled.

“I am close, brother,” Michael said. “I will be as powerful as you. Soon.”

Michael then teleported out and went to another place.

Hell:

Michael appeared inside another cave.

This time, he found one demon from every different tribe. There was another energy orb. He took it and the same happened to the demon.

He then teleported out.

The Void:

Michael appeared in the Void this time.

He unleashed his energies and the whole dimension lit up with energy.

Once it lit up, he saw all these people.

He moved as fast as he could and restrained every single one in the Void. Once they were in the same place, he waved his hand and he took the energies of all those people and added it to himself. Every single person who existed in the Void were now gone forever.

Michael then teleported out.

Universe Prime:

Michael appeared in Universe Prime. The same universe where Nazar lives.

As soon as he appeared, he closed his eyes and smiled.

“Found you,” he said before speeding up.

He moved across the universe and gathered up every single one who has escaped from the Void.

Once they were in one place, he got all of their energies and then they were gone forever.

“I shall leave the Omega people for later...right?” Michael’s face was ripped with a smile. “Nope. Going to do it now.”

He then teleported out of here and appeared on planet Omega.

As soon as he did, Omegan came to greet him.

“Who are you? What are you doing here? And how did you find this place?” Omegan said.

“I am here to kill you all.”

Michael narrowed his eyes.

“And I am Michael, the leader of angels.”

As soon as he said that, Omegan froze in his place.

An orb appeared in Michael’s hand. As it did, it absorbed every single of the Omega People. As they are beings of energy, it did not leave anything behind.

Once he was done with that, the orb absorbed all of the planet Omega as well.

Michael then teleported out.

Unknown dimension:

There is a dragon in this place. An ancient dragon that has fought against demons and angels alike. It was only defeated because Lucifer intervened and he never killed it. He defeated it and banished it into an unknown dimension.

And Michael, he looked for it everywhere. It was only recently that he found it.

Michael appeared before the ancient dragon.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT, MICHAEL?”

The dragon spoke and he was very, very loud.

“I have a proposal for you.”

“AND WHAT WOULD THAT BE, MICHAEL?”

Michael smiled.

“I am collecting power. Enough power to defeat Lucifer with.”

“AND YOU WANT MY POWER?”

“Yes.”

The dragon thought about it for a minute.

“You are weak in this state. You are decaying. You will die soon. But I can help you. Give me your energies and I will resurrect you when I win.”

“AND YOU CAN WIN?”

Michael was taken back by that question. But…

“Yes, Ikeiss, the Eternal. I can win. And will win. So, give me your energies and live within me.”

The dragon named Ikeiss, the Eternal thought again.

“FINE, MICHAEL. BUT IF YOU DON’T DEFEAT HIM, YOU LOSE YOUR PRECIOUS HEAVEN.”

Michael smiled.

“Okay.”

The dragon closed its eyes and it turned into energy. The energy then entered an orb.

Michael then merged all of the orbs together.

Then he placed it within him.

Once it was inside him, it ‘blew up’ and his powers increased by a tremendous amount.

“Now, then, Lucifer, I know you are trying to create more fallen angels,” Michael’s face was ripped in half with a smile, “but I know how to rival you now. I might not have great power like you, but I am capable of defeating you now.”

Michael then vanished into thin air.

Heaven:

Once he was in Heaven, the leader of gods appeared before him.

She handed him a few things. It was round-shaped crystalised energy prisons.

She left after a little while.

Once she left, another orb of energy appeared in his hand and the orb absorbed everything she gave him.

Then bright door appeared before him.

He walked through it with a smile on his face.

“Your time has come...”
